We were doing a 3-4 week job at the Budweiser plant on California and used to hit up this little sandwich shop. We were working with a crew from Bridgeport & they'd take us down there all the time. Best freaking breakfast sandwich I ever had. Made the noon liquid lunches go down a lot easier.

Just watched the Method in the Madness again last night. Not sure how most people feel about it, but I like it.

I found it hilarious that in 2018, they had Nolan taking over for O'Halloran as director six years before (announced in '24) it actually became a thing.

We didn't have them flooding to show off our socks like Billy Joe, at least. We'd get them from the thrift store already nice and soft/broken in, and they were comfortable as hell!

Mid/late 90s, we used to play every weekend. 5 card draw/stud, 7 card stud, Guts, Between the Sheets, etc. Once Hold'em got popular, no one wanted to play anything else. Poker Stars came around this time, too. I miss a good old poker night.

I found out on accident today that if you accumulate at least $25 in Walmart cash through their app/site, you can go into the store and get cash back.

I had bought a few things today, and when I went to check the Walmart cash balance, I found the cash out option. In the past, I've always just used it to pay, never knowing this was an option.

The app lets you generate a bar code that you bring to the service desk. I'm going to stop by this evening, myself.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case this helps anyone.

I love today

Down in Oak Forest facing north. Bright red lights too big and way too bright to be a plane, not a firework, too fast to be a helicopter. Was coming from the north headed south, made a wide u-turn towards the west before going back north, hovering and disappearing.

My son and I both watched it from the balcony. I can't explain it.

Anyone else see it?
