Parents don't let me change the haircut, should I sneak to a different barbershop

For context I'm 15M and for all my life it was my parents that decided my haircut: either just short hair or a bad combination of a side part + bowl cut. I didn't really mind it but since I'm a teen now, I wanna boost my confidence by having a better haircut.

I'm thinking of booking a cut in a different barber near my house, tell them that im hanging out with a friend and just do the cut. The problem is the aftermath... how do i tell that i changed: do I send a message, do I just come home with a different haircut??? Should I really sneak to a different barbershop?

16, atopic dermatitis, need a skin care routine to improve my self esteem

I’m 16 and have had atopic dermatitis since birth. I really want to improve my skin because it’s getting quite red and it’s affecting my self-esteem. Most of my skin is okay except for the body folds (legs and arms), where I get a milder form of acne on my chest, and on my face and neck I have pimples and red marks.

I currently have these creams available:

Bepanthen Sensi Control

Protopic 0.1%

Pandermil

Hydrobiotic Chamomile

Exemotosin (came in the same pack as Hydrobiotic)

What skincare routine should I follow with these creams? I’m also open to trying other home remedies if needed.

parents wont let me change haircut

im 15 and literally my whole life I’ve had the most boring haircut imaginable: some weird mix between a side part and a bowl cut. i never really cared before, but now that I’m older I actually want to look good and feel confident about my appearance. the problem is I’ve always cut my hair at a really bad barber… my uncle. yeah, it’s free, but at what cost honestly.

lately I’ve been wanting to switch things up and try a middle part or curtains, something that actually looks modern and suits me. but every time I even try to style it like that, my parents immediately push it back into the same old side part like it’s illegal to change anything. I haven’t even talked to them about it because I already feel like they won’t take me seriously, and I don’t really trust myself to explain it properly either.

so now I’m just stuck wanting to change how I look but feeling like I can’t even take that step. what am I supposed to do?

Battle between YPAA and DIH

Let's do a battle between these two amazing HUM albums and the most famous ones too. Lmk your opinions and what you would have changed:

Little Dipper 👑 VS Isle Of The Cheetah

- for me little dipper wins this one by just a little

The Pod VS Comin Home 👑

- i just love comin home so yeah, its my choice

Stars 👑 VS If You Are To Bloom

- i genuinely love both songs but i have to choose stars

Suicide Machine 👑 VS Ms.Lazarus

- suicide machine clears ms lazarus

The Very Old Man VS Afternoon With The Axolotls 👑

- both calm songs but i prefer the axolotls in this case

Why I Like The Robins VS Green To Me 👑

- both amazing but i prefer green to me bc of the energy

I'd Like Your Hair Long 👑 VS Dreamboat

- both amazing but id like your... clears because of the lyrics

I Hate It Too 👑 VS The Inuit Promise

- i hate it too its just my favorite HUM song, the drop is just insane

Songs of Farewell and Departure 👑 VS Apollo

- again songs of farewell win just because of the lyrics. both are good

sorry but I couldn't include the scientists since YPAA has lesser songs..

Don’t you think Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis feels like the perfect “sad graduation” song?

“Hold up, hold on / Don’t be scared” — it sounds like someone trying to comfort you in that exact moment where everything is changing. Like telling yourself (or a friend) that it’s okay to be afraid of what comes next… but you still have to go.

“You’ll never change what’s been and gone” — that line hits hard. All the laughs, the stupid moments, the classes you hated but somehow miss… they’re over. You can’t rewind it. No second chances. Just memories.

“’Cause all of the stars are fading away” — it’s like watching your whole world slowly drift apart. The people you saw every single day… becoming just names, just photos, just “remember when…”

“Just try not to worry, you’ll see them someday” — you tell yourself that to feel better. Maybe you will. But deep down, you know it won’t ever be the same again.

“Take what you need and be on your way” — take the inside jokes, the friendships, the lessons, the little moments you didn’t even realize mattered… and carry them with you, because that’s all you get to keep.

“And stop crying your heart out” — not because it doesn’t hurt, but because this is how life moves. Things end. People change. And even if your heart feels heavy right now… you still have to keep going.

I've recently listened to "You'd prefer an astronaut" by HUM and I found it very interesting and amazing overall. What's the next HUM album i should listen? I'm thinking of "Downward is heavenward"
