Phone for Papa

I got a job last month! I'll be getting my first paycheck next month, and I'm so excited to buy him a new phone.

My father's phone is not in good condition anymore. The screen is taped up, the speaker is broken, the display flickers, and it's getting hard to charge. If I'm not mistaken, he bought it from a sidewalk vendor.

Then, someone we know sold him a brand-new phone for 3k, but I told him to return it because it was outdated, slow, and laggy. I told him to just wait for the phone I'll buy for him next month.

My budget is 12k. Any solid Android recommendations for someone who mostly watches YouTube/Facebook and takes random pictures? My 17k starting pay isn't much yet, but I want to give him the best I can afford for now.

Took a safety net job at a municipality right after OJT

I actually got hired by our municipality right after my
OJT, even though my graduation is in September. I have all the credentials, eligibility, training, and experience for the role, but it's just not what I wanted. There weren't any openings for the position related to my OJT. Even though both jobs are in the same industry, the actual day-to-day responsibilities are completely different.

On top of that, the salary is pretty low. Honestly, I would've gladly accepted the low pay if the job were at least related to the career path I want, just so I wouldn't lose track. I only took the offer because I wanted a safety net, but now I feel like I didn't even give myself a chance to look for other companies with better pay. Is it unprofessional if I plan to resign after six months? I just really don't want to get lost on my career path.

How do you deal with someone na hindi mo ka-same humor?

Problem/Goal: I wanna know kung anong magandang pangsupalpal sa colleague na wala sa lugar yung humor.

Context:

I have this colleague whose humor is mostly about making sarcastic or insulting remarks. Even when you talk to them properly, they tend to respond with “banat” or pangba-bara. Sometimes, when two people are already talking, sisingit pa siya to mock or twist what the other person is saying kahit hindi naman siya yung kinakausap then tatawa.

Nakakasira siya ng mood sa office, especially kapag seryoso yung usapan. May times na may nagsheshare ng serious or sad situation, tapos babarahin niya in a sarcastic way yung nagsasalita sabay tawa, as if may funny sa pinaguusapan. Nakakairita lang kasi parang wala sa lugar yung humor niya. Anong magandang pambawi kapag binara ka lalo na kung di naman siya yung kausap? I don't have friends like her so I don't know how to deal with that kind of person. I wonder anong tawag sa mga katulad nya?

Previous Attempts:

I showed my irritation to her na, I called her “bastos” and “wala sa lugar” but she just laughed it out. She also said we have different humor, but she kept repeating her behavior. How to deal with her attitude yung tipong matatahimik yung bunganga nya at di siya makakatawa?
