Long shot, does anyone have a Rab Veil 2 Vest size Large?

I have been using a Rab Veil 6 vest, along with the 12 for a few years and love them. I have seen they do a 2L and I'd love to give it a go but I cant find a size Large ANYWHERE. You name it, I've tried it.

Does anyone here have one, they'd be willing to sell?

Daily for a heavyish trail runner

Daily for a heavyish trail runner

90kg trail runner here.

My running coach has me focused on improving base fitness lately and as such I'm doing alot of Z1 and Z2 training runs.

Generally I train and race on trails, but often with work travel it's cleaner and easier to run road, i mention this as I prefer low stack/cushion shoes for road to replicate my trail shoes.

As aa result I've been doing my easy runs in a Ghost 17 for a year and it's starting to loose cushion.

Before I jump in and grt another pair of 17, or even the 18, are there any others I should look at for the easy run, not super high stack? Glycerin? Hyperion 3?

Any fans of Brooks Launch?

I've been using Ghosts, Hyperion Max and Hyperion for awhile, but as a trail runner I tend to use lower stack and lower cushion shoes for races as they're often short, sharp and on an incline.

The Launch shoes interest me, anyone used them and has experience to share?

Garden clearing

Currently clearing out my garden of old bushes, branches and thw rest of it.

I find my green bin gets full on one session of this.

What does everyone do at this point? Waiting 2 weeks is a long time.

Is it worth getting garden clearance bags? If so how does it work, do i fill and then get rid of myself?

Alternatively, any recommendations on garden clearing companies?

I've been using Levi chinos this last year and have found they fade quickly. Last year I used Spoke chinos and despite following all instructions, they lost colour in the blue and also the cream colour i had.

Are there any brands that can be recommended that retain colour, shape, and will suit slightly chunky thighs. Not fan thighs, more cyclist thighs.

No budget for these, happy to spend whatever to get a good product.

I've been using some cheap resistance bands for years, usually Latex make by Gritin or Beanax.

They're great for warmup, but thwy dont last more than 6 months usually before they snap, not to mention the Internet is full of cheap ones that look questionable.

Does anyone else use them, if so, can you recommend a brand or specific set rhat will be long lasting?

I have been using Beanax bands, along with Gritin bands over the years and find myself always having to order another set at some point during the year.

They break, aren't thay durable and I'm fed up.

What bands can anyone recommend that ate more durable, come in a range of different resistance and I can get delivered to the UK?

Ideally, if you've personally had some clothes altered, where have you got and would you recommend?

I have two coats, one to get sleeves lengthened and another to get adjusted on the shoulders, loads of alterations come up on Google for bristol, but would appreciate personal experience over Google results

As title suggests, I'm pretty good at running trails, but would like to know if anyone has had success developing more aggression to their running in races.

If I get overtaken I often think, oh well. But, how can I get into a 'no, I must overtake them back' mentality

Hi All,

Usually I one bag with hand luggage, but going on a trip later this year for business and leisure with my wife.

I need to take some climbing gear with and am wanting to go checked luggage only, no hand luggage. So I'm looking for a case 50-80litres.

What are the highly rated equivalents yo things like the Osprey 26+6 etc

Are there any highly rated, durable cases that dont weigh too much, but also have structure to them?

Over the years I've used smartwool, but found them quite thick, even the thinnest. Then Darn Tough, but found they are better for hiking and seem to have this almost taper towards the toes, which I've not come to like.

Recently have tried out stance socks, and they seem to do the job quite well.

What brands/models of sock do people use? Not interested in toe socks FYI.

I have read mixed reviews on these, most of the poor reviews are about 6-9.onths old and it looks like Arcteryx have updated some of their kit including these.

Has anyone tried the older version compared to the new? Any feedback on what they're like?
