Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a thermal printer.
I purchased a JADEN. I’ve had it for about a month or two. And quite possibly used error but I can’t stand this label maker anymore. USPS called me and told me the reason my tracking isn’t updating is because my barcodes usually do not work- but the QR code does- but apparently QR code doesn’t do the tracking(?)
I don’t know- but I went to FedEx to drop off another one and they also couldn’t scan it 🫠😑
I don’t know what I am doing wrong with this label maker- but at this point I hate it too much- and need a change. Money is not a problem because I’ve lost a lot of money because of misprints so apparently this will be a good investment.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!
I just started on Vinted- so I wrote explicitly in my bio that I can provide reviews from other platforms I've been selling on for longer while I move my merchandise over.
But also- ugh- is this type of thing going to be common place on Vinted!?
I ended up just doing the $10- after an annoying lecture on how shipping supplies, gas, and time are not free and to please be more understanding that sellers are also not made of money lmao
I do regret my decision in even responding and should've just blocked.
Anyone who's been on Vinted for awhile- is this type of thing commonplace? This- and then the ridiculous lowballs!!!!

I am posting here because Mercari is so far the only platform I’ve had this issue on. And I’m growing increasingly frustrated.
I weigh and measure my packages, select UPS label correctly, drop package off at UPS.
However! At some point UPS hands my package to USPS. USPS says “ooof not enough postage” Luckily the first time the item made it eventually- but this time they’re saying I’m not protected, and they might just destroy my item- WHAT!?
Has anyone else been experiencing this! I feel like I’m doing everything right! Is there something I’m not doing that could help prevent this in the future?

Sorry for the long post- I was wondering if anyone has any insight into this situation. Or what I can tell my dad.
Basically my mom and dad were divorced about 20 yrs. ago, no survivor annuity was noted in original judgement, they made a stipulation 2 years after divorce that my mom gets survivor annuity- that she is responsible for paying. 20 yrs. later my dad has retired (and has been for a few years now)
My mom got word he retired and attempted to get information on her survivor annuity, when she was informed there is none. OPM rejected the stipulation, citing improper language and that it was not a COAP.
My mom is now fighting this- my dad is stressing tf b/c he's worried they will penalize him and cut his retirement pay.
I'm not sure what to expect- there are attorneys involved of course, but it's very complicated for me. They are trying to draft a COAP, but I've also heard OPM will not accept any orders filed AFTER retirement.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I'm really lost- my dad is freaking out- and I have NO knowledge about this to even begin to understand what is going on!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still trying to find my footing in the resell biz! I am pretty dedicated to only vintage toys, or just 90's nostalgia- and I know it's kind of niche. But I feel so stagnant! I guess this is normal? Some days I will have five orders, but now I haven't had one in 3 days!
How many platforms does everyone usually cross list on? Currently- I mainly stick with Mercari and FBM- I do Ebay occasionally for higher priced items, but don't find their fees worth it for my lower items.
I'm wondering if any other platforms are good for toys. I'm sure everyone is aware that cross listing is draining- and w/ 300+ listings, the thought of doing it again is quite daunting- but possibly worth it? If anyone has any experience w/ other platforms, your advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m sorry just really anxious. I had a phone screening with a recruiter last Monday and I had- what I thought was a fantastic panel interview last Wednesday. We laughed and chatted for over an hour- it seemed like a natural cultural fit, and my experience and education was a good match. They said interviews concluded this Wednesday and I should hear back Thursday for Friday. The next step would be a meeting with the director and she will have the final say.
Obviously it’s EOD Friday and - crickets :(
From your experience is there any hope if you’re not contacted by the anticipated date? I know I need to keep looking but this one just seemed amazing in all aspects.

Hey everyone! Question- I've honestly overall had pretty positive experiences on FB marketplace, but today I encountered something strange.
I bought a large bag of toys for $10 about a week ago- it took me about 2 days, but I cleaned them, pieced them out, and put them up for sale- I posted a set of cooking toys on FB that were in that bag which are too large to sell online. They are missing a few pieces, but are in otherwise great condition. I cleaned them, and even repainted one of the two. They retail (of course new with all pieces) for about $40 ea. I asked $20 for both.
I received a message from a woman who stated she's making a play area for kids in the neighborhood and this would be a great addition, and if I just want to get rid of it or donate it she would like to have it.
I've never experienced this before? Is this common? I am a bleeding heart and wouldn't mind donating, but I don't want to give it away to a reseller. I'm not out a ton of money, but it did take me a considerable amount of time! Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated!
Hey all! I need to find the BEST air filter out there. My allergies are crazy- I think it could be because of the dog/cat hair. Constant mucus and whatnot. What is the absolute best air purifier out there for animal dander, money not an option, I just need it to work! I've tried several different brands with no luck.
Sorry if this is long- I am going through it and just need a place to vent- get advice- or hear similar experiences.
I essentially worked very hard to get in the legal industry- I feel I did very well for myself for 5+ years (not monetarily wise- but skill wise) I LOVED my job- I loved helping people, I loved court, and I loved feeling competent. Then- we hired a new attorney who made my life absolute hell. It got to the point I had to leave. I was devastated, but it was best for my mental health. I took the first job I could get at a bank-2 hour commute everyday- and for the three months I was there I maybe did 5 minutes of work- insanely boring- though everyone was nice.
My “friend” ended up needing help at her store so I offered to help while I looked for something more suitable. This went downhill fast. She apparently thought her girlfriend liked me- so she let me go (citing me leaving 1 hour early to see my son in the ER as the reason)
My confidence was absolutely shaken at this point- as were my finances. I finally found a dream firm 5 minutes from my house! I was so excited. My first week one of the two other girls got up and left. The next week the attorney SCREAMED at me for having a small plant light-amongst other petty things. I heard him mocking my voice, and throughout my two months there had to deal with being the odd one out and constant taunting- sooooo many red flags but I really enjoyed that 5 minute drive. I never actually learned the job I was hired for- I basically did odds and ends after the first girl quit. So last week they hired a full time employee to take over the work I had been doing- and of course today I was fired 🤣
Needless to say that job was a HORRIBLE fit and I should’ve left long ago. But- my confidence has been absolutely destroyed with this string of not having a stable job I feel productive and capable in. I’m just absolutely crushed and it’s hard to have any hope things will improve. I miss loving my job so much. Has anyone else been through this? Any advice? I just at this point feel so unlikable and incapable- is leaving the legal field for something else a good idea in the meantime?

I just switched from criminal law to personal injury.
I so far hate it with every single fiber of my being- but it’s what works best while I’m in court reporting school.
Genuine question- why in the absolute hell are we using Arctrieval!? It seems so much more efficient to just do the requests ourselves? Just wondering if there’s actually a positive side to this as I’m new to this area and probably can’t see the benefit yet.
