Having trouble printing out labels for my business

Having trouble printing out labels for my business

I've bought some round 2" label from A-SUB. I'm having trouble getting the logos to align, Photo for reference but it doesn't seem like the logo is being shifted equally, they're all shifted randomly and I don't know why. I've got the printer settings set to custom 100% it's not being fit to page or anything like that. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using the template recommended by A-SUB which seems to be compatible with Avery's 2" glossy white template. I'm using Avery's software to properly align my logo. Printing on regular printer paper turns out fine. The issue is when I print on the label paper. When I align my logos PDF with the A-sub or Avery template it looks fine.

I'm hoping someone can help me out! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm using a Brother MFC-9340CDW printer

My diabetic cousin is slowly unaliving himself

My cousin has type 1 diabetes. He does nothing to care for himself at all. He treats his condition like a crippling disease that disables him from having a normal life.

He's always looking to hang out. Which is fine although he expects everyone to hang out with him for the whole day. Like 6-7am to 10-11pm. Mind you he's 36. We're all adults and got other shit to do. Aside from this he doesn't take his insulin and is often having an episode in public, acting erratic, convulsing. We've all had to baby him before multiple times because he doesn't do his due diligence and take his insulin like he's supposed to. We've had multiple interventions, but he just laughs it off.I'm not sure if he likes the rush of being close to death. Maybe it's a form of getting high I don't fuckin know. But because all this my immediate family has completely cut him off. It's been about 5-6 years since we've actually spoken to him. Recently he added all of us in groupchat saying he was sorry and he's trying to change, but I can't be so quick to believe him. I'd like to help him but I don't know how. Is there any diabetic or anyone who's dealt with diabetics that have acted this way? Is he a lost cause?

E-bike stole at Ridgeland greenline

Delete if no allowed

my e-bike unfortunately got stolen yesterday morning. I went to work and locked my bike up at the bike rack at the Ridgeland greenline around 5:30am, and came back to see the broken locks and no bike.

Above are pictures of the bike although Ive since installed rear view side mirrors. If anyone happens to have any leads or sees it around or one similar please don't hesitate to reach out!

Lawn mower spits out grass

Every time I use my lawn mower now the grass gets spat out instead of collecting on the bag. This isn't a new lawn mower. I've had it for a while and it's worked fine in the past. Yes the mulch plug is off. I've cleaned the discharged chute and thoroughly cleaned the bag. What am I missing here?

Pedals don't translate well when using my capture

I've been trying to capture my combo amp Vox VT40X

And I finally got to a place where the capture sounds very very close to the actual amp.

The clean tone sounds great! However, when I add my physical pedals, especially when having Distortion I feel the capture is behaving like a tube amp that has a gain channel on and having the time based effects going directly into the front instead of the fx loop. The reverb and delays are not clear. Anyone got a solution or know why this is happening?

I've added the capture. This is meant to pair up with another capture I did using a different microphone which you can also find on my profile. The most reason 20/19hours ago captures are the ones in question. Ignore the rest. Would also love feedback for those who try it out

I need serious help capturing my amp

Ive posted on this sub not too long ago.

I've tried to capture my combo amp (VOX VT40X)

And it just doesn't sound right.

I'm not clipping on the way in or on the way out. No there's no Distortion, the tone is completely clean.

I need to know do I absolutely need a reamp box or would a di box suffice? I've tried box and the reamp box worked the best but it still didn't sound the way my amp does while being mic'd with the exact same mics in the exact placement as I have them when creating the capture.

Here's a list of my gear being used:

VOX VT40X

SENNHEISER MD441U

LEWITT LCT 640TS

JDI BOX

PRESONUS STUDIOLIVE 24 SERIES lll (mixer/interface)

Studio one 5

Here's a link to my recent capture notice how there's a horrible Distorted hum underneath.

You can find another capture I made 5 months back which sounded the best albeit still not what I'm trying to achieve. Sounds great when I audition the capture on tone3000 but sounds like crap when I use the NAM plugin***.***

Please if someone could hop on zoom call and guide me to how they create a capture that would be great, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I could share my screen to show what it is im doing.

Help creating a capture.

I've made a couple captures of my combo amp and although they sound great they don't quite sound the way my amp does. I'm not talking about the way my amp sounds in the room, rather closed mic'd. For a bit of reference, I'm capturing training file by mic'ing my amp with two mics.

Question 1) do I consolidate each track to mono individually or consolidate both mic tracks into one mono file?

Question 2) my amp has built in dsp effects. Part of my tone relies largely on the built in compressor. Does this affect the capture? I've been told nam doesn't support any times based effect and I guess compressors fall into that category?

I've tried going out directly from my console to the amp, Walrus canvas reamp box, DI box And have had mixed results, good results but nothing that comes close to the tone im looking to capture.

Here's all the gear I use:

VOX VT40X (Amp I'm trying to capture)

PRESONUS STUDIOLIVE 24 SERIES lll (CONSOLE/INTERFACE)

SENNHEISER MD441 (DYNAMIC)

LEWITT LCT 640TS (CONDENSER)

RADIAL JDI BOX

Who was the drummer during the love era?

I know ilan is often shown in the music videos and promos and started touring with the band during this era but the drums sound very Atom Willard-esk. Did he record the album and leave right after or was it ilan?

To me this was the last record that actually sounded like angels and airwaves. Not saying that anything that came after is bad. I love it all, but everything that came after was just completely different. Imo it sounds like they gave ilan way too much creative liberty and sprinkled some angels and airwaves DNA here and there.

Projector recommendations

I'm new to projection mapping, what projector do y'all use? How much does ansi affect mapping. I see a lot of user projecting outdoors and getting bright vivid results.

For context I plan to Run some projection production at live events. I host shows for various local bands and though I'd be cool to implement mapping to the grill of guitar amps and such. Im in doors most of the time but there are times where I am running events outdoors

Create accurate captures

I'm trying to capture my combo amp, a Vox VT40X. Love how it sounds especially the way I have it mic'd up. I've tried tone3000 in the past and although I've gotten decent results, when I compare side by side the capture and my amp mic'd the difference is night and day. What are some tips for a better more accurate capture?

Capture combo amp without breaking the bank.

I'm looking to create a capture of my amp, a Vox VT40X combo. Love how it sounds and love the specific my choice and placement I get. I want to be able to capture this tone in the box so I can practice and/or record at late hours without disturbing anyone. What's the best way to do it without breaking the bank?

I've tried tone3000 in the past, although I've had decent results, when I compare the capture to my mic'd up amp, there's is a very noticeable difference sonically.

One of main channels is down, what do I do?

I've got a digital mixer. Presonus RM16AI

My L channel is busted. It sounds significantly quieter than the right channel? What can I do?

I'm thinking going mono plugging one speaker to the R channel and daisy chaining to the L speaker?

But what if I wanted to go stereo? Could I just line 2 auxs set them as post fader?

L main channel on digital mixer is way quieter than R channel

I've got Presonus RM16AI.

One of my mains (L channel) is significantly quieter than the other (R channel) what may be some causes? Is this an easy fix or will I have to get it serviced?

I'm aware this mixer is discontinued.

Clipping vocals

I'm constantly on the move doing small to mid sized DIY-esk gigs, because of this I need a setup that is portable, light weight and relatively expendable in case things break.

My set up is as follows:

EV ZLX 12P Tops

EV EVID 12.1P sub

Presonus RM16AI digital mixer

I often have heavier acts. ie:Post Hardcore, Punk.

I'll often mic up Vocals, Gtrs (Depending on the space), Bass DI, Kick & Snare (Depending on the space)

I often find I have to crank up the gain on the vocals to get them to cut through. This ends up being a problem when the vocalists go in to do gutterals etc. The vocals end up clipping the whole time but it's what works to get things to cut through. I do find my main bus also clips even though I have it at "unity". Is this just a product of cheap preamps on the mixer I use or skill issue. Are there technical tricks I could do to resolve these issues?

Proper way to connect 2 tops to 1 sub with a singular input - output?

I've got two top EV ZLX 12PS and a EV EVID 12.1P sub.

The sub has only 1 input as two line level outputs (1 high pass - 1 full range) how would I go about implementing this sub to my set up?

I've thought about 3 solutions

  1. Mixer L out > Sub input > Sub highpass out > ZLX 1

Mixer R out > ZLX 2 (ZLX 1 utilizing sub crossover to let's say 80hz, sub dsp on ZLX 1 will be set to off? - ZLX 2 will have dsp crossover set to 80hz)

  1. Mixer L out > Sub input > Sub highpass out > ZLX 1 daisy chained to ZLX 2

  2. Mixer L out > Sub input > Sub highpass out with XLR Y splitter > ZLX 1 & 2

would all 3 methods be correct? Would one methods be more ideal than the other?

Replacing ZLX woofer but the new one won't fit. what to do?

Im replacing the woofer on my ev ZLX 12P. I thought about replacing it with a Dayton PA310 (see 3rd pic). 12" 8ohm speaker. Perfect upgrade right?

Turns out the magnet is 3" bigger than the stock speaker and piece to mount a speaker stand into the speaker is getting in the way. What should I do?
