These Candie's Sandals from early y2k era (looking for a photo)

I remember having a pair of these Candie's Sandals when I was younger. I think they came out in 1999. The ones I had were bright blue with yellow accents. They were in an ad with The Chicks.

I've been looking for a photo of them for years. I've searched Google images, eBay, Poshmark, everywhere on the Internet. I don't even need to buy them, just a decent, full photo will do.

Help.

Obsessed with this ILIA skin tint dupe

I’ve been using the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint. It’s around $40 and the bottle leaks like crazy. I probably lost at least 20 percent of it just because it leaked in bag.

I picked this up at Target and OH MY GOD. It’s so much better. It’s so lightweight and hydrating. I’ve loved Wet and Wild products for years, but this is definitely one of my all-time favs.

I’m not sure if it’s even supposed to necessarily be a dupe, but for me it is.

I love it so much. 100/10, I’ll be buying this again.

Edit: This is a dupe for me personally. It replaced the more expensive brand I was using. I didn't realize the word "dupe" had a definitive and and permanent meaning. Apologies if the wording was unclear.

Let's Talk About Bonnaroo 2027

So… Bonnaroo 2027. 👀 We’ve got a lot of questions.

Episode 257 of Story Time at the Roo Bus: https://youtu.be/qyocT3tAiSU?si=LtIERf68490dOH6r

Do we want Where in the Woods and Tuesday entry back? Should That Tent return to its old spot? And who should headline next year?

And the elephant in the room that's making us all a little sweaty: where are the 2027 dates? Is there actually anything to worry about? Probably not. Maybe. Who knows.

Plus, a little Nashville recap, some TOTEM updates, and the usual weekly picks.

Anyways: what do you want Bonnaroo to look like in 2027?

Can we turn off moderator invites?

Moderator invites keep being sent to random spam accounts out from one of our top mods. The top mod is absolutely not sending these out. The top mod has changed their password, logged out of everything, did all of the safety protocols.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Can we turn off mod invites entirely? Or what is the best way to prevent this?

256 - The Future of Bonnaroo: What Worked and What Didn't in 2026

It's been almost two months since Bonnaroo 2026, and we thought it was the perfect time to take a step back and have an honest conversation about what worked, what didn't, and where the festival goes from here.

This week, we brought on a panel of real Bonnaroovians - longtime members of the Bonnaroo community, the fans who have spent years helping shape the culture that makes the Farm so special. We talk about everything from whether Tuesday entry should return and if That Tent should move back to its old location, to the idea of a September Bonnaroo.

If you've been thinking about what you'd change (or what you'd keep exactly the same), we'd love for you to join the discussion. What do you think Bonnaroo got right in 2026, and what should change for 2027?

Episode 254: We tried something a little different this week... 👀

Daniel and Sharla are out this week, so JB and PawPaw Josh are taking over with a pilot episode of a Bonnaroo sports podcast.

If you've every found yourself arguing about SEC football one minute and Bonnaroo the next, this one's for you.

We're genuinely curious if this is something the community would want more of, so give it a listen and let us know what you think!

Question for everyone: What sports team or athlete do you think has the biggest overlap with the Bonnaroo? Or, if you're not into sports, what other off-season Roo content would you actually watch or listen to?

Bonus trivia: Without Googling - What MLB infielder used an off-day to perform at Bonnaroo in 2016 with his band? (Hint - the band has the same name as the player).

Beyond products and creams - what’s next? What can I do?

I’ve had seb derm all of my adult life; for the past 20 years. I go through periods of having perfect skin, to having debilitating flare ups.

For some reason, I started having a flare up a few days ago. I have no idea what caused. Literally - nothing changed at all. Nothing in my diet, nothing seasonal, no extra stressors, nothing.

This is one of the worst flare ups I’ve ever had. The itching is so intense, I wake up multiple times a night because my scalp feels like it’s on fire. I’ve resorted to using PTO at work. It’s unbearably bad.

I’m sleeping with my scalp covered in prescription ketoconazole (2%) shampoo. It doesn’t help. I still wake up scratching.

This is the first time I’ve asked for advice in a seb derm forum in years, because I’ve tried *everything.* Believe me, if there is a product out there, I’ve likely tried it. Some work for a while and the stop working. Some do nothing. Everyone seems to swear by MCT oil, but that actually made mine seb derm worse. I’ve used every shampoo on the market. I’ve ordered products that aren’t even sold in the U.S. I’ve traveled internationally and bought products elsewhere. Nothing works for me.

I’m not asking for product recommendations.

I’m so over it.

What do you do when you reach a point where it’s physically debilitating? Are there any other options beyond OTC products? Beyond simple creams doctors prescribe? Is there a “next step,” per se? I have no idea.

On this day last year, I went to Knoxville, Tennessee to visit the Wigsphere. And it was closed.

After years of doing nothing with my life, last year I made the ultimate decision to go on a three-hour road trip to the site of the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee. I bought tickets for the world famous WIGsphere a few days prior, because who wouldn't want to see the WIGsphere!? I knew it would be super crowded and I was prepared!

When I arrived at the entrance, I was heartbroken to see a note on the door saying it was closed. I broke down. I sat on the curb, my heart in shambles... not knowing what to do. In my frantic, unnatural state, I walked back to the door and screamed "LET ME INNNNNNN." (Not recommended). The nicest, sweetest, kindest woman came to the door.

"Are you Sharlaroo?"

"Ummm, yes?," wondering how she knew my name.

"You're the only person who bought tickets for the day. We had to close because the AC is out. But I can take you up since it's just you."

I was STUNNED.

My flabbers were gasted.

SHOCKED. Stupefied. Dumbfounded. Dazed. I couldn't believe it.

NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO SEE THE WIGSPHERE???

I walked inside.

Inside the small first floor was one information desk (not joking - one information desk with tourist pamphlets).

The nice and kind lady took me up the elevator, and I browsed freely for about 15 minutes. There's a lot of Simpsons memorabilia, including a script from Bart on the Road (Season 7, Episode 20), and a copy of the American Automobile Guidebook, which I hear is highly recommended. I didn't ask, but I think they've cleaned out all of the old wig storage.

I was able to drive home fine, as my car was not crushed in Knoxville, nor did I have to take a job as a courier and deliver eyes to Hong Kong. I drove home through Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where Homer ordered his replacement T-437 console from.

Overall, a great trip. The employee was amazing. Highly recommended!! Please go see the WIGsphere before it topples soon.

(P.S. If you read all of this, thank you. Bart on the Road was my mom's favorite episode. She died in an car accident a few years ago. Love this episode so much).

251 - Our Bonnaroo 2026 Recap Part 1: Rain, Mud and Power Outages

Bonnaroo 2026 tested everyone on the Farm, but it also reminded us why this community is so special. Despite the rain, mud and power outage, the Bonnaroo community and crew came together to overcome what felt like the festival's final boss.

In this episode, Daniel and I start breaking down what worked, what didn't, our favorite sets of the weekend, and why this ended up being one of the most memorable years we've ever experienced on the Farm.

Anyone rent a Fuze Charger?

I rented a Fuze Charger in Centeroo because our camp chargers were running super slow. IIRC, it was supposed to be $60 for the week.

Anyone else rent one of these and have extra charges?? This has def never happened to me at all.
