Update (I did hours of research): You need FPC, Texas State Rifle Association, or a Hot Shot Customs Rifle (and a few other smaller plaintiffs), to bypass the engravement, and the NFA's individual-maker requirement and the associated prohibition on possessing an improperly marked firearm. This DOES NOT give you AOW protections, but will still give you other SBR SBS Suppressor 4473 form protections.

SILENCERSHOP, PSA, B&T USA, GOA, GOF, FRACI,INC, and the fifteen plaintiff STATE ENTITIES, will get AOW protections, and SBR SBS Suppressor 4473 form protections.

I would recommend getting a membership with one each from BOTH of these lists so you can get full protection with the recent ruling!

Wanted to ask the locals here if you guys have any idea on this. Hypothetically, if I was a GOA member prior to the ruling (and still am), would I still need to do an atf form 1 or form 4 to aquire a SBR or SBS? I know that suppressors are legal to transfer here (if your a GOA member), but curious on the legality of SBRs SBSs here.

(1) It is unlawful for any person to own or to have in his or her care, custody, possession, or control any short-barreled rifle, short-barreled shotgun, or machine gun which is, or may readily be made, operable; but this section shall not apply to antique firearms.

(2) A person who violates this section commits a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

(3) Firearms in violation hereof which are lawfully owned and possessed under provisions of federal law are excepted.

Upcoming Election

Hey I'm a local Floridian here around Fort Lauderdale. I own 15 guns, and am pretty upset with the way FL law 790.22 is written, vaguely and it is unconstitutional for multiple reasons (common use, vague wording, no historic use). I'm also upset with the way Daddy DeSantis has been using the 2A in Floirda as a leverage tool to gain popularity, and now that he can't run again, he doesn't seem to care for it anymore.

In your guys' opinion, who would be the best option in the coming election for our 2A rights? Getting tired by our govenor and state senate playing with our 2A rights and not getting serious

Ruger Harrier

Ran 500 rounds through this with no issues. Loving this sub 1moa rifle for $750 bones.

Comes with a set screw under the grip to tighten the upper/lower together, the stock is tight (no slop), and getting a compensator for this next week.

223 load with nickel case and black projectile.

Came across some ammo marked as FC 223 REM (Remington?), that seems to have nickel plated case, with a full black projectile.

Found similar looking ammo from remington (has a nickel case and black bullet), but they have the difference of a different projectile tip shape, and the remington load I found also has a painted red tip (these ones do not).

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Just curious if these were dropsafe in 2026. Saw a couple of posts saying that these weren't drop safe, but all the posts are all 4+ years old now. I'm assuming that any problems would've been kinked out by now (or at least I hope).

Bought a cheap Chinese light for the gun (1500 Lumens; basically looking into the sun),works fine, so I built my own holster around it. Carrying this pew pew in honor of Rick Chow; don't have a 45 like he did so this is a close second. I don't care for downvotes.

FN 509 MRD $159

Picked this bad boy up for $150 after coupons and gift cards. Most American way to buy a gun 🇺🇲

I have a custom stippled glock 17 and shot this thing next to it and I was impressed to say the least. Glock has better bore axis but idk what FN voodoo magic they put into there guns but to say the least. She be shooting flat. For their compact sized 509 too? Shoots impressively flat. Felt like a full size gun.

Is it a good deal?

Bought it for $400 after tax, used some coupons, and gift cards so probably $150 outta pocket...

Comes from NYC though, so it has those communist magazines. Planning on drilling them out to make them 12 rounders when I get to it, but is this a good deal? This is a Black, 509C MRD I bought for $400 (was actually $150 after coupons and gift cards 😭)

$250 Turkish Semi-Auto Range Report TAR 12MP

Turkish made TOKAREV USA TAR 12MP.

Not my first shotgun but decided to come here to report on functionality so far of this turkish semi-auto for some of yall budget kings.

First thing I did was take this home, clean it and installed the SIG ROMEO5 on there and the charging handle, then took it to the range and ran 3 inch magnum slugs(40 total)without a hiccup... 2 3/4 inch buckshots (50 total), 2 3/4 and 3 inch magnum turkey shot (50 total) and 25 high brass 2 3/4 game/target loads. Gun ran flawlessly. For the same price (Or just slightly more) than the maverick 88, why not pick this up? Why doesn't anyone recommend these? I bought this online (skeptically) and was surprised with the build quality in person honestly. Might be some turkish brands suck more than others.
