How does the Russian Course look by the end?
Has anyone made it to the end? There's not really any info on how many words it gets you, or what level it should ~roughly bring you to by the end

I have never found enjoyment in anything I did and IDK if it's because of the environment I grew up in or something innate within me but almost two years ago I finally got diagnosed and got professional help and have, in the last few months, started to feel different. Without all the boring details, I am just curious about what the average guy experiences when he feels joy specifically, but pleasure would also be nice to hear about (since sex is still difficult for me).
edit: 5070ti!!
I followed the War Thunder VR video for optimizing settings and it doubled my frames and removed the choppiness enough that I could join EC! I was so excited!! Got in and took off and saw a blob of planes, even zooming in I could barely make out what they were until I was nearly right on top of them. I see videos of others playing and they can VERY clearly see what an enemy is. I'm at 1440 DX12 anisotropy 16X SSAA off AA off, can answer more questions in comments!
He has a bunch of armies but has played Custodians the last half dozen matches at least. It is frustrating because they're.. custodians.. and my mission is to hold the middle and his home. I have no way of holding anything given that he can dominate with elite units and most things that get into melee will destroyed quickly. He'll say "yeah but you won last game!" (note: I do not win most games I'm maybe 75-80% losing and it's gotten slightly better as this has gone on because I'm learning how to deal with custodians but it still extremely tedious). It's not about winning it's about having fun and the fun isn't had when the entire experience is so sweaty and stat-checked in a casual setting. I don't mind a 5++ or 6++ but almost everything being 4++ has gotten tiring. What's worse is that he is a stickler for the rules and where I'm very happy to give leeway he will be quick to tell me if I am a quarter inch too far to do something. Yeah, it's a game of measurements, but it if we got into this with the mutual agreement of fluffy casual play and now something is a millimeter over an inch and I'm being told it's not enough to make it while I watch him take the same millimeter for himself every chance he gets it's frustrating. It sucks and makes me not want to play, not sure how to handle it since I've already made it clear I don't like fighting the custodians and he plays it off saying "well every army has scary units." I'm ok with scary units, but scary units that are known to be the most unfun army to play against is another thing
With plunging fire being easier to get, they would now hit on 3s while being both harder to hit due to being in cover and having a 4+ due to their ability. They seem perfect for this new objective-is-terrain format!
I've been going back down to 4.7 to abuse the 4.0s as a way of venting after finally getting the IS-3 and finding out that my armour is worthless when I encounter anything with HEAT(FS). My KV-1 with maxed out reload just rips apart enemy teams; I had games where I ran out of ammo from getting hit after hit. I realised I have an advantage on these players with lower skilled crews and it gave me an idea. I'm considering doing (puke emoji) arcade battles to more quickly accrue skill points and max out my crews since it ultimately will help me a lot when I go back to 7.3 right?
What has your experience been your experience with how crew skills affect the stock grind? I imagine high level tank driving would help when you feel like you're driving through four feet of water while everyone else is flying by you
In the video he shows examples of how render distances are affected by keen vision and that enemies will just vanish or not appear at all while shooting at your teammates or you. I watched the tank crew skills video a few times and went about happily levelling my crew evenly (until I decided to max out weapon reloading before continuing) and I was just wondering about this because I don't think I have ever actually noticed it. I'm sneaky guy and I just cut off my engine and wait for enemies quite often, or if I hear an enemy engine I cut mine and wait for a friendly to get near so I can move and he will be unsure of where to look, but I don't really think I've ever noticed people appearing and vanishing or shooting me without being visible at all. Y'all surely have more experience with this, what do you think?
For being an evil industrialist, there sure is a lot of green space left on earth... Kinda crazy how it's been potentially tens of thousands of years and Jack's hometown is overgrown
I was installing Corsair software and it froze so I restarted it and while searching from the windows bar, Nvidia and pornhub showed up as recent searches. I can't comprehend how pornhub would appear as a recent search since I never browse the internet on my PC and I don't use porn sites at all, especially hating PH. If anything, it would be telegram that I use for that kinda stuff since there aren't any ads and I don't have to fight an algorithm trying to force something on me, so it's not like a "oh I would never use this because I'm too good for porn" thing.
This is a genuine question. I live alone, never use my browser let alone search for something through the windows bar, and can't comprehend how that would be a recent search on my PC. Is there a possibility of someone having access to the computer remotely?
This appeared as a small bump at work and within an hour it became about this size and burned like heck. I decided to apply the anti-fungal/anti-inflammatory cream (which I have for a separate rash) since it was readily available and went to sleep. Woke up and my knee is kind of stiff, the muscles in my thigh all the way up to my groin are sore, and a few hours after waking my whole body has become sore and I developed a headache. I am seeing my doctor on Thursday, but judging by how quickly this has hit me and that I am basically limping around with my stiff knee and that there are many other symptoms, I'm asking here to see if I should rush to ER overnight or wait it out
edit:
I also think I'm getting feverish but I can't tell yet
Started out small and then over the course of my shift it became red and a cluster. I was wearing pants and didn't do anything unusual before it happened. It's very irritated and hurts. Is it fungal? I have antifungal/anti-inflammatory ointment already for a rash that appeared on my other leg, which started as disparate group of painless colourless bumps and eventually formed a roughly oval defined area that was scaly and itchy. But it never burned the way this one does and it was there for months changing shape and colour and skin texture while this appeared in just a few hours
I use a small (9in diameter) air circulator (thought it was a fan at first lol) at the base of the stairs and have it blow cold air directly up and into the room at the top of the staircase, some 22ft away. The room is about 550ft³. Maybe it's a placebo effect but I feel like the room is slightly cooler with the little circulator.
Without knowing much more about the little fella, what are the odds it is actually pushing enough cold air to make a difference? And if it is not doing anything, how big of an air circulator would I need to cool the area?
