Top 5 Favorite Bob songs?

Hey y’all, I wanted to discuss: if you had to pick a top 5 favorite songs from Bob’s discography (counting anything he’s worked on, so Wilburys are fair game for instance), what are they?

I am still exploring his wealth of music, but right now mine are:

Shelter From The Storm

I Want You

Masters of War

Lay Lady Lay

It’s All Over Now Baby Blue

Favorite Beatles song released in each year (‘63 - ‘70)?

As the title asks, for each year that they primarily released music (1963 - 1970) what is your favorite song from each year? For this, let’s use release years instead of year written (e.g. Let It Be would be 1970 even though it was written in 1968 and recorded in 1969), just to keep it interesting.

My picks:

1963 - Do You Want To Know A Secret?

1964 - If I Fell

1965 - Help!

1966 - Here There And Everywhere

1967 - I’m going to cheat here b/c it is A Day In The Life. But, since that is widely seen as their best song/best psychedelic era song, just for variety’s sake I will choose one of my next favorites, Lovely Rita

1968 - While My Guitar Gently Weeps

1969 - Something

1970 - Two Of Us

Before Stu left, what did each person do on stage?

As the title asks, what instruments/roles did John, Paul, George, and Stuart fill on stage when they were a five man act? I know Stu handled bass which Paul took over full time once he left. But what did they do before that? Did George, Paul, and John take turns on lead/rhythm/vocals, did they have two rhythm guitars?

Another dimension to Tony killing BLANK?

I have seen much discussion surrounding Tony killing Ralph and that entire scene. One thing I have not seen mentioned to my knowledge, is how Ralph mentioned Tony eating “beef and sausage by the carload” might connect to the relationship between meat products and violence and adrenaline/anxiety in Tony’s psyche.

Per their season 1 sessions surrounding it, Melfi and Tony explored and established a psychological link between meat products and traumatic memories, panic, and violence in Tony’s mind, due to his experience seeing his father attack (even chop a finger from) a butcher and then taking meat from him, which Tony’s parents also have a strange sexually charged bond over.

Is it possible that part of Tony’s impulsive decision to kill Ralph could have been influenced by this subconscious link? There is the obvious dimension of Ralph attacking T’s weight, but to me Tony doesn't seem like that is a particular button that would drive him to violence, on its own.

You telling me you never pondered that?

Basic question: are time signatures relative to the song’s tempo (BPM)/ are beats universal units?

Basically, as the title asks: how do you know if a song is in 4/8 or 4/4, if two songs with different tempos can have the same time signature? Are beats units that are relative to each piece of music, or are fulls, halves, quarters, and eighths universal units. If so, how can two songs have the same time signature but different tempos?

Apologies if this is a simple question but I have no formal training and am trying to learn more. Ive googled this many times and not found an answer I fully understood. Thank you for any info you have!

Edit: To give an example of how I am confused: Say there are two songs. Song A is 150 BPM in 4/4, and Song B is 75 BPM also in 4/4. Would that mean that relative to Song A, Song B would be in 4/2 time?

Edit II:

Ive received many answers including to follow up questions I left in the comments so I just wanted to reply to everyone up here by saying thank you for taking the time to explain this to me! I understand that my question may have seemed a bit naive or pedantic, and is the kind of thing those of you with technical training learned long ago in your earliest courses/lessons, and has long since cemented into your sense of music. But, as someone without a background in it, i find it very helpful to get these nitty gritty explanations of things I lack context on. Much appreciated to everyone!!
