DIY build using industrial HEPA filters, aluminum frame & computer fans

The total cost for this build was ~$450, excluding my labour and engineering.
I get ~290 CFM from all the 6 fans combined, the filters are capable of maxing the airflow till 800 CFM.

I will upload a video on how everything is put together soon.

A bird house made from real wood for Magpie Robin

Just got some planks from local timber shop, the edges were not that great but I managed to screw it together. (No glue)

Also I removed the dowel.

Once I get some birds, I'll post the pictures :)

Thanks

My hand made concrete bird bath is finally getting some visitors (Babbler, Magpie Robin)

The initial bowl got destroyed because I left it outside the day I made and it rained. So I gave it another shot and have put some pebbles and something to sit on.

Why is it so hard to make friends or to even keep them in our lives?

Is it just me or everyone else, who has hard time making friends or even keeping the friendship alive?

I tend to put a lot of filters before I make any friend but some turns out to be assholes. I try to do my own part but it feels like they have many other friends to talk to when I just have one or two.

Or could it be because I can see through them so I cut them off immediately? One of my childhood friend turned out to be misogynist and a liar so I cut him off.

If they need to lie to me what kind of friends they are. Lot of them pretended to be what I am and support what I support but it turns out it was all a sham.

One of my friend who claimed to be "atheist" is now living in temples and sharing religious songs. He asked me on a trip to hill station, when I asked if my girlfriend could come he said "sure". At the last moment he said that his "uncle has passed away", which was a lie.

I don't want to lie and mask to keep my friends close and enemies closer.

When most people call me or text me, I expect them to be upfront about their needs. Nobody just calls to check in on you, even my mom. She only calls when she is bored and she has run out of people to call to.

Maybe others can't see through this but I can and I am not going to be a part of this lie where everyone pretends to like each other when they hate you from inside.

When I told one of my friend that I talked to a psychologist today and I got to know that I might have ADHD and Autism, he didn't show any concern towards me.

All he said was "no worries, enjoy life", the least he could have done is called me and asked how am I doing.

The doc said that after taking meds I will be able to become more social, but I am not sure. I don't want to mask and lie to just fit into a social group.

Anyways I have written too much, thanks for reading. If you are looking for a friend let me know.

Recently setup my bird station (India's 7th) got 146 species 12,167 detection (Bihar)

All you need a Raspberry Pi or computer running as server (24/7 ideally) and a mic or two.

You can check all the other stations on https://app.birdweather.com/

If anyone needs help with the setup, please let me know.

Found this in public garden, not sure if it's Common Goldenback or White Naped Woodpecker? (Kolkata, India)

Why are we so obsessed with blue lights which even has the lowest CRI, I don't think train is a place where people are going to work or read books, in the day it's filled with natural light which is great and we turn on artificial lights only in night that's the time we want to sleep.
