Edna initiated play, and lets Maude maul her.
They are so good together. Exactly what we wanted.

Thought I would share, Maude is doing quite well. Since she communicated that agility isn't her choice sport, we moved our focus to scent detection.
Tonight was a search with two hides on the vehicle. First they found the one by the rear license plate. Then we moved to the one by the front tire. Those are the searches I included in the video.
Maude's search makes me think we are ready for the fall trials. Will have to get the registration dates and trial dates into the calendar.
Edna was in a mood and sniffing randomly. She enjoys a good sniff, and is prone to being distracted.
Quiet friendly tussles this afternoon. Maude knows how to hold gently with her mouth, and Edna obviously doesn't mind the interaction.
Maude came here when she was 5 months old. She had a hard mouth at first, and Edna was having none of it. She'd growl at her and pull away. Being the clever dog she is, Maude adjusted her bite, and the games have been on since.
I ask because Edna has two drinks a day usually, really really long ones. She has always done this. I mean, she drinks extra on days we train harder or when we trial. But run of the mill days, it's two really big drinks.
Maude drinks smaller drinks, more often throughout the day.
Picture of Edna being cute as dog tax.
Will get trellises or whatnot to get them upright.
Also, the photo shows the brindle creeping down her back and up from her back legs. She's 22 months old now, so I'm halfway expecting full brindling next year?
It is a 2013, 2.0l, manual transmission. It was fine last weekend. Then, after being parked in the garage for a few days, it wouldn't turnover without a boost. Once boosted, it runs fine and the voltage goes past 12. The picture was taken with the engine off, after sitting a few hours.
Taking it in Monday, to maybe put a kill switch on the battery? And check for obvious shorts. Anything else?
Captured here in all their bat shaped glory.
And as always, it is her resting b*tch face, she's thrilled.
West facing, 4th floor balcony.
Have gotten a few handfuls worthy of being made into lunch.
Thankfully it ignored the water that needed to be changed. Will see if it comes back and might invest in a feeder.
The plant was fertilised and enjoys the late afternoon sunlight.
The plant was trimmed down winter 2025, and many people have cuttings. It sprouted a dozen new growth points. But it didn't get enough light this winter and lost leaves.
The glass watering things aren't used to water, they just sit in there.
I put something for some of the stems to lean upwards on. But, I have my doubts that flowers, may be 10 years away?
Snuck in a decent one too.
Pan fried, toasted bun, processed cheese, bacon, onions and mustard.
Edna likes to run, and be chased. Maude likes to catch and bite. Really, it works out quite well, lol.
Edna is 7 years old and an accomplished sport dog. Together we have earned ribbons in rat sports, scent detection, agility and sprinter.
Maude is 21 months old and earning ribbons in scent detection and rat sports.
Growing on a west facing, covered balcony. It has been above 30 C during the day, so the plants at least have been getting water twice daily.
