Michael Byrne (colonel Vogel from Last Crusade) has now passed away.

Rest in peace sir. Condolences. to his family and friends and loved ones. I felt he played a good villainous character in Last Crusade.

Today marks 3 years since the release of Dial of Destiny.

I think I've definitely had some time to reflect on the film and I enjoy it. It's definitely a film that is a meditation on loss. I keep thinking back to Crystal Skull and the statement ""We seem to have reached the age where life stops giving us things and starts taking them away."

In the end though, this film is about Indy finding his way back. Not just through time, but also in finding his way back to other people and opening himself up again.

Let's focus on the positives in this community.

I do run an Indy page, I'll be very honest. Indy's Legacy right up there in the top corner.

I have been running it since 2015 (way back before Dial was even confirmed), and as I stated earlier in other posts, Indy inspired me to become an archaeologist. I have two Archaeology degrees as well.

I'm fine with where I am, although I will say that I am glad that the Indy fandom has a variety of different sites and fan pages. I will also say, that I do not believe any one does have a monopoly on running a page. Or in point of fact, a monopoly on news.

I started doing this as a hobby. And to me, that's fine as i get to live out Indy's legacy in my career.

Let me know if there's any way I can improve or fix what i've been doing though. Always open to criticism although I wouldn't count myself a 'community leader' or anything.

I'm just a guy.

Welp I give up on collecting the Atlantis dorbs

Welp 260 a box and seven of each. I see the scalping is still alive and well. can’t wait for the pin market to crash or Disney to crack down on this.

Today marks 8 years since the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Can't believe it's been almost a decade already... What were your thoughts on the release of the 5th film in the Jurassic series? Honestly, I feel like I enjoy it a lot better the more years pass. Definitely feels overhated.

Who else got into Archaeology/Got an Archaeology degree because of Indy?

So yeah, I'd say that I am one of these people who was inspired by Indy to go work in the Archaeology field for my career. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology, and a Master's of Science in Archaeology as well. I am also currently working as an archaeologist professionally. I have been on field excavations, surveys, archaeological monitoring. I also have experience in laboratory work, as well as artifact curation.

As an Indy fan, I've been a pretty lifelong one. I grew up with the films, and have gotten into Indy cosplay in the last few years. I've also tried to get to know more of the Indy community locally. (Thanks California Jones). I do really feel that the community is a strong one in which all sorts are welcomed. I've also started an Indy fan page in my free time. I feel that this combined with my work, really does help me live out Indy's Legacy. ;) (Edit: and yeah that's my page name, Indys Legacy)

It really is great that the Indy fandom flourishes, and that the fandom is large enough for many different Indy fans to share their passion. (Including different fan pages.)

But yes, I want to know more about any other fans that have taken their passion for indy to turn it into a career in Archaeology? (Museums also count here too.)

Staff of Kings froze for me in the 'Piano' Section

As stated, was playing staff of kings and the game froze after I beat the piano section... I had only saved in the part in Nepal right before the major gunfights. Lesson learned to save after every section with this game, ugh...

Whittier Narrows/Legg Lake is now free again Wednesday through Fridays until December.

Just thought I’d make a PSA for members of the community.

Scarlett Johansson's Jurassic World Rebirth 2 Potential Gets New Update From Writer David Koepp

I'll Let Koepp's own words just say it all.

>"You can't say trilogy. You got to make one good movie. So now what about another good movie? How would we do that? I think that the challenge of Rebirth was the franchises have become very big, very spread out. Let's make the dinosaurs special again by restricting them. So we restricted them to this thing, and then the challenge becomes, okay, now how do we logically and in a scientifically believable way expand? That would be the question. If somebody can answer that, I think you'll have a next movie."

Indy reference in the Boys Series finale

Scene is When the Deep meets Homelander in the White House. Clearly implied he only knows what a Crusader is because he watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Sorry for crappy meme format, I screenshot and put it together myself.
