More than six months ago, I hired a Fiverr seller with great reviews to design a logo for my brand. After paying them and going through countless revisions, I realised the work was basically AI-generated. It looked so obviously AI that I genuinely felt scammed.

Two days ago, I gave Fiverr another chance and hired a Vetted Pro to audit one of my marketing campaigns. I paid €150 because I wanted someone to actually analyse the campaign, identify the underlying issues, and give me professional advice.

Instead, I got a very generic, basic AI-style audit covering things like targeting and keywords stuff ChatGPT and Claude had already told me. The whole reason I paid for a professional was because I needed something beyond the obvious advice.

I even asked them directly whether AI was used because I was so dissatisfied.
Honestly, what’s the point of paying premium prices on Fiverr if the work is just being done by AI anyway?

I like the combination of cinnamon and vanilla in angel share really very tasty, but then there is this cognac/ alcohol i really don’t like and was thinking if there’s any other fragrance that is comparable to it without the alcohol?

I tried to so far is God bless cola from versatile Paris and cola addict from BTSO.

Unfortunately, I just do not like God bless cola because of the sweet caramel popcorn note (not w fan of gourmand) and Cola addict was more spice than Cola and I didn’t like it on my skin.

Please let me know if you have any other recs

So far I've tried God Bless Cola by Versatile Paris and Cola Addict by BTSO.

Unfortunately, God Bless Cola didn't appeal to me because of the sweet note of caramel popcorn (I'm not a fan of gourmand fragrances), and Cola Addict smelled more like spices than cola; plus, I didn't like how the scent smelled on my skin.

Let me know if you have any other recommendations.

I applied for a part-time job at McDonald’s and received my employment contract on 10 August. However, there were several incorrect details in it, including my email address, salary, weekly hours and working hours/schedule, start date (5th August was mentioned lol). I contacted the manager about the issues before signing the contract. I never received a response.

Then today, completely out of nowhere, the manager called me asking why I hadn’t come to work because apparently today was supposed to be my first day. I was genuinely confused because I had never signed the contract, never received confirmation that the corrections were made, and never received any clear information about when I was supposed to start.

The manager was also quite rude and insisted that I should have come anyway and whatnot!
Am I wrong for assuming I should wait for confirmation before showing up? Is it normal in the Netherlands for an employer to expect you to start working even though you haven’t signed the contract and haven’t received confirmation of your first shift?
For context, I’m not a student I’m looking for a part-time job alongside my own projects.

I applied for a part time job at mc Donald’s and got accepted after interview and since then things have gotten weird. Receiving my contract got delayed by 7 days because even after submitting the right email for application and receiving all the updates on that email they sent the contract on an address with wrong spelling!!!

Anyways after I received the contract they were several issues like I wanted to work 24-26 hrs and in the interview they asked when what shift I preferred, I said afternoons and the hiring manager said all good.

The contract absolutely opposite- work hours says 6 + late night shifts. Plus the late night shifts didn’t even have the extra bonus mentioned and start date was wrong lol! It mentioned I start 4th when I got my contract 8th and so much more. I contacted them back with these and few other questions and since then nothing!

I haven’t heard back emailed them 3 times. At this point I am beyond frustrated and keep telling myself to ditch and find something else 😕

I felt the hiring staff is all over the place and awful!
What should i do? Ditch this completely?
