So it's safe to say that Edwardine locked her son on the forbidden wing, right?
It seems that the running head of the family dies at the same moment the one locked away dies, or vice versa, am I crazy?
Where are all the men? After Enoch we barely hear about the men of the family.
Where are the dads in this family? Vivian got pregnant out of wedlock and bolted. Tabitha's father also ran away.
Is the Entity doing something to drive the non Scarlet parents out of the picture?
Why didn't Tabitha lock her mother on the forbidden wing? Surely that would be better than killing her and risking the MC not coming, or what likely would happen, be smart enough not to be fooled by her, considering how weird the whole town is.
So it's safe to presume that Vivian left because she knew, or was at least suspicious, that her family wanted to imprison MC in the forbidden wing. She may be the best Scarlet yet, or the most selfish, but every mother should keep their children safe, always.
I can't trust anyone in this town, even Gretchen didn't come to my defense. I wish Dustin and Dustin Mom were with me, hopefully they would bite those two. At least my dear Kaneeka will never betray me.
Can the LDB be considered an oversoul? They do absorb many dragon souls and even Miraak's soul. So could they also achieve apotheosis at some point in their life?
"Auriel pleaded with Anu to take them back, but he had already filled their places with something else." The Monomyth.
For context this is when Auri-El and Lorkhan were at war with each other. What intrigues me is who or what Anu created that he preferred than to help his "grandson". Do we have any information anywhere of what that is? If we don't, some theories would be nice.
I was just here defending uncle Paarthurnax yet again and I've got a crazy idea. What if Delphine wants the Last Dragonborn to become the new emperor? Humor me for a minute.
Delphine makes it clear her disdain for the Greybeards and the way of the voice, she wants us to kill Paarthurnax, but not Odahviing. That makes me think the only reason is that she wants LDB to cut ties with the Greybeards forever, to not rely on them anymore, only the Blades.
After the Alduin's Wall she starts wearing the Blades armor and claims the title of Grandmaster, she wants the Blades to be reborn, but she won't do that if the LDB is allied with the Greybeards, not because she doesn't want to, but because she can't. If the LDB beliefs are aligned to that of the Greybeards then they won't be a conqueror.
She even states in case the LDB is uncertain about their own power: "Only if you don't know how to use it. All the great heroes have had to learn to use their power. Those that shrank from their destiny... well, you've never heard of them, have you? And there are the villains - those that misused their power. There's always a choice, and there's always a risk. But if you live in fear of what might go wrong, you'll end up doing nothing". She wants the LDB to use their power, even at the risk of becoming a monster, then at least she will have a shot at restoring the Blades.
On the other hand, Arngeir states if the LDB is unsure if they should kill Paarthurnax: "You're learning, Dragonborn. Doing nothing can be the wisest choice, although strangely often the most difficult. I trust that you will make the right choice, in the end"
Their different philosophies are very apparent, following the way of the voice turns the LDB away from the conqueror's path. That's why she wants Paarthurnax dead, it has nothing to do with their oaths, they should obey the LDB not the other way around, but if the LDB doesn't do this, then they are not the one she needs.
If Jack and the Sword of Aeons are back, does that mean we will also see Avo's Tear? As being the good counterpart of the Sword of Aeons I think it's fair we should see it again.
Since all protagonists from the 3 main games are the younger sibling, do we have confirmation that the hero of the new Fable is also the younger sibling?
The Altmer want to become like their ancestors and be spirits again, do you think the problem with Talos is because he was a Men and not a Mer? The same thing happened with the Oblivion Crisis, they claimed to be the one to have ended it when we know it wasn't the case. They rewrite history to fit their needs and egos.
I've seen people on the internet bashing this man for his treatment of Toph, even comparing him to Ozai, which I don't think is fair. He was not a good father, that is certain, but his wasn't a bad man overall. But I'm not here for that, I'm here to talk about how he and Toph are not so different.
My main point here is that both him and Toph are terrible parents, but they are not bad people. Lao's bad parenting comes from the fact that he didn't acknowledge Toph's potential and wanted to control her. Toph was the opposite, she was too lenient, by letting Suyin repeatedly get away with everything, especially scarring her own sister. And by not acknowledging that by letting Suyin get away with everything she was harming Lin, basically showing her that she had favorites, and that Lin working hard to uphold the law didn't matter. Inadvertently she was also creating a rift between the two sisters, and a grudge that would be held for decades.
My point is, the only reason the fandom hates Lao so much is because we love Toph. But in his eyes he was doing the best to protect her, not so different from Toph with her children. What do you guys think?
I for one am hoping we can become an animagus, I also would like to cast the patronus. I would also like that if they add a social system similar to persona 5 and fire emblem three houses, we can hangout together with our friends.
