Yeet yourselves on over to DTO and grab this $60 superfan!!!

Edit: The oscillating fan appears to be sold out online. Might still fund some in local stores if you live close enough. Plus there's still $2.50 shipping and lots of other sale items! The clippy fan is only $15. Practically giving it away!

Original post:
$60 and $2.50 shipping for 250th anniversary 4th of July sale. Plenty of other good deals, but this one is flat out RIGHTEOUS my brothers and sisters.

Just purchased RDR 1 and 2 and can't play. Please help!

Long post warning. TLDR: traveling for work. Bought RDR 1 and 2 on steam sale. Can't play them at all. Can't login to my Rockstar account. Can't contact Rockstar support. Details below if you have time to read them. Thanks in advance to anyone who might have helpful ideas.

Long part:

I'm traveling overseas for work.
RDR 1 and 2 show on steam's summer sale.
I buy them and install them.
My steam is still set to US and I paid the current US Steam prices for my games.
They installed successfully.

Rockstar launcher says I need an account. Won't let me create one.

Rockstar website won't let me either. Same type of error message. "Sorry, we are unable to handle your request at this time." #1.000.7

I had the bright idea to log into my desktop at home and use that computer to create a Rockstar account. Success! Or so I thought... I even set up 2 factor authentication with my Google authenticator.

Logged out at home.

Traveling laptop won't let me log in still.

Can't log in on browser on phone. Tried with VPN. Tried without. Went through all recommended reddit an Google AI and Rockstar troubleshooting steps (clear cache, clear history & cookies, admin steam launch, delete certain folders, restart PC, verify integrity of files in steam, make sure location and time match, etc.)

None of this worked. Two hours of this absolute bullshit later, I decided to submit a ticket.

"SUBMISSION ERROR. Sorry, we ran into a problem submitting your ticket. Please refer to this article for support."

"This article" recommends all the troubleshooting steps I've already done multiple times. I'm feeling like this was not such a bright idea after all....

"We're for you 24/7" it said at the bottom of one of their support pages.

Right.

Reasonable price for prebuilt with 5090?

I know there are other similar posts like this one. By asking this now, I'm just hoping to get the latest feedback from the prebuilt community on what a 5090 based system is worth.

RTX5090
64GB DDR5 6000
2TB NVMe
1200 watt gold
7800X3D
Triple fan AIO included for CPU

$5000 brand new with warranty.

It was slightly cheaper a few days ago, but the price just went up. I'm looking to upgrade from my 5+ year old 3090 system.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!!

A sincere question: hear me out (3090 -> B70+9070XT?)

TLDR: with the recent spikes in resale values of the 3090, should I sell my 3090 and a 9070 I still have brand new in box, and use that money to get a B70 and a 9070 XT?

Additional info:

Will be used for video gaming and video and photo editing. Possibly future compute work. - maybe some kind if home LLM or smart AI home stuff. Might even try renting out the B70 if that's actually a practical thing. I don't use blender. Some of the video software I use heavily does support Intel and CUDA hardware accelerated rendering. I also use several Adobe creative suite apps regularly. From what I've read, the 9070 XT will be 30% faster on average for raster gaming than my 3090, and will trade blows with ray traced titles. I'm sure it will be more power efficient.

Sample of more demanding games I play, for reference:
Cyberpunk
Starfield
Elden ring
Marvel rivals (sort of demanding I guess)
Arc Raiders
Subnautica 2
And others, of course

Amy thoughts? Is it worth the hassle?

Thanks in advance!

Found the perfect travel case for my USB lithium Ryobi batteries... At Lowe's. 😁

I can do this all day, boys and girls. 😆

Of course kind of silly on a drill, but on the new oscillating fan the runtime is amazing with this 12Ah battery.

Of course the most important item is the ONLY one the coupon code doesn't work on.

Always frustrating. Just as frustrating as the item you've been watching for years or months being out of stock every time it goes on sale. This thing is finally in stock for shipping, but the code doesn't work.

INSIDER40 for 40% off sale going on right now.

Best way to wirlessly get one 1/4 in. mic to two speakers at same time?

I have a set of wireless mics that have been working pretty well this school year for my wife's music students. We also have a rechargeable Samsung 240w Sound tower that has multiple inputs, including 1/4 in for mics, RCA and bluetooth.

I've been wanting to add a second speaker for more sound in the gym, and to not have to have a speaker right in the middle and a bit in the way. The speakers can pair and run in stereo mode for Bluetooth, which we sometimes use, but this doesn't transmit the mic input from what speaker to another.

I found plenty of 2 rx 1 tx sets online, but does anyone know of an affordable 1 tx to 2 rx or other solution? I know I could use a y splitter, but doesn't that cut my volume down quite a bit? What's the simplest, most practical and affordable way to do this? Also, I'm hoping to not have to run a cable the length of the gym.

Looking for ideas. Thanks in advance!

Will it work from inside this fence?

Right now I have the new S4 solar camera - awesome camera, BTW!! - installed on the corner of the house facing towards the chicken coop. We wanted to be able to keep an eye on the chickens and also have some security in our back yard. Our dog started barking at the chickens and chasing them around the pen from the outside, so my wife put up a tarp material to help (second photo). It does help with the dog, in addition to blocking some wind and sun, but now we can't see the chickens with the camera anymore.

I'd like to move the camera to inside the chicken pen, as it has a top frame I can attach it to. It will be well above the green tarp material.

My question is, will the cameras work through the fence? You can stand inside and plainly see out and recognize animals or other humans as a person looking, but will the camera's automatic recognition and tracking features still work through the fence?

Newcomer here! Trying to keep our dog away from the chicken coop. We've put up a chicken pen. That didn't work, so we put a tarp material around the entire coop to make the hens less visible to her. That worked for about a week, but now she just chases and barks at her shadows. I have found plenty of dog collars that keep your dog within certain limits. We used to have one of those, but I am looking for the opposite! Is there a collar that can keep your dog AWAY from something?

Thanks, everyone, in advance!

Details:

I have fast track by Rubbermaid on the pictured wall, and on the reverse side of that wall I have the Craftsman system. The advantage I see to the rail systems is that you can precisely adjust things left to right to achieve the most efficient and organized fit possible.

I'm not impressed with the Rubbermaid. Over time, it has become wobbly and things are not very secure. The hooks move around left and right when I take tools in and out of them. They are affordable.

The Craftsman is a little sturdier and I think better built, but things still slide around a bit, and it's more expensive.

How sturdy is the Link compared to these (if you have any experience)? Will it be a worthwhile and noticeable upgrade?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
