What Do I Have?

I’m not sure what the market is with currency and if the things I see on eBay are just people thinking they struck gold.

My buddy’s father gifted him a couple stacks. Mostly 1971-74.

I assume these aren’t much of anything. I imagine with inflation these may be now $2.00 but just making sure I’m not missing anything.

1950s Topps Baseball Cards

My buddy found these at his dads place.

I’m usually a Pokemon dude but my buddy wanted me to “value” these. I’m just going off eBay recents.

Any recommendations or sites? TCG, PSA and EBay I assume?

Cubone Restoration

I’ve been practicing on bulk. Decided to give something meaningful a try. Not too bad. A little more to go to make it much better looking.

Saddest Cubone

I’m glad I picked this one up. I got rid of one way back that was holo and regretted it. Every time.

I’m glad China finally gave Cubone a friend. That’s my next card.

Cubone Prices Skyrocketing?

Have you ever seen a card completely blow up like this? I purchased a holo Cubone 60/112 a little bit ago for maybe $12.00. They are now going upwards of $500.00.

I’m new to all of this and didn’t know cards could just blow up like that.

Help Designing Collection

Hello,

I just wanted some help building my portfolio! I’m currently interested in damaged Pokemon cards(severely damaged) and I love the look of spooky/dark/moody holos.

These are a couple I have. Any of these ring a bell that you could share?

Thank you!

Drama Dumping

My girlfriend has her horse(of 20 years) on her nieces property. The niece does not own the property. My girlfriend’s bigger half sister owns the property but lives no where near the barn.

The niece owns all the horses but one, my girlfriends.

We’ve been on this property for maybe three years now.

The only reason there is property with horses is because the niece wanted horses when she was younger and now wants nothing to do it with it. There are now 5 horses on this barely 6 acre property and she refuses to take care of any of them.

There is also a boyfriend who lives on the property for free and also does nothing for these horses. I believe he just plays video games and drinks. They’re both I think 23 or 24.

They’ll do the bare minimum of feeding and I think that’s about it which is the easiest part of ownership.

The niece is insanely spoiled by the mother(girlfriends half sister) but it’s turning into a white trash trailer park and these horses deserve so much better.

We show up every weekend and sometimes through the week to see an absolute mess. Trash, water that’s undrinkable, tack on the ground and so on.

“Do it for the horses.” is what I think as I’m on my knees cleaning buckets and such for horses and even property I don’t even own.

My girlfriend and I have brought it up multiple times but nothing is resolved. The owner of the property only does it because she has another daughter(13 or 14) who is actually into horses. The owner is scared that if she gets on to her other daughter, the daughter will pick up and move leaving the horses with no body.

I don’t know. As a dude, needed to get this off my chest because I don’t have anyone else to get ideas or opinions from.

How Are You Hunting?

I’m curious how everyone is looking for specific bills or rarities? I’d imagine it’s withdrawing from the bank as much as you can, searching and then depositing back?

I’d imagine if a bank was patient enough, they’d withdraw whatever you wanted as long as it wasn’t constant.

Or is it just going to pawnshops and so on looking for already found “special” bills.

Starter Deck Duel

All day I have done nothing but get destroyed. I don’t understand if this is normal? I think I’ve lost around 40 and didn’t win any.

I think people are trolling me because they won’t make a move until the timer is a second from ending.

Everyone I go against seems to have some crazy deck and I am stuck with preset decks.

Is there a way for me to edit the starter decks?

I don’t see how even if you learned the basics that you’d be able to win against anyone in this with their own decks.

Pokémon to Goldbacks

Just like the title says, I irresponsibly got into Pokémon cards. The addiction was ridiculous and once I stopped and looked at the money I spent chasing expensive cards, I could’ve had an ounce of gold(yes, that bad).

Once I learned about Goldbacks, I felt a little more pleasant and responsible. I’m unsure if I’ll stack but the artwork and actual material value is what attracts me.

Any tips or caution I should look for?

Il Blud TAEV-EN088

Just looking to understand. Card on the left has the holo effect across the entire card with the gold stamp bottom. Card on the right only has the effect on the picture and silver stamp.

Would this mean the right card is a secret rare and the left is a super rare? Looking at my old cards and didn’t realize how many rarities there are now.

Outlook Email is Ridiculous

I’m officially transitioning away from anything Outlook.

I feel like every time I log in to my email, I must go through a maze.

“Solve the puzzle”

*random pop up for some service from Microsoft*

“Type code we sent you via text”

“Add another email”

The last straw was having to add another email.

Dude. Let me log in to my email.

First Longboard

Just purchased a longboard off marketplace. An Arbor Axis 40. After years and years of serious cycling(tights and all), figured I’d try something new.

Anything you all would recommend? I’m 6’2”, about 219 with a lot of room to shed, and cruising here in Florida.

Bigger wheels for sure. I think they’re 71mm.

First Catch of the Year

After a good solid month of fishing and even reaching out to other anglers for advice, finally caught one.

A Crevalle Jack. First cast of the morning, too.

Florida Shore Line Fishing

Anyone have any success with fishing? I’m usually fishing around Oldsmar, Campbell Causeway and David Island trying my best to fish from the shore. I’m having no luck. I’ve changed jigs, plastic, real bait and I’m out there for hours.

I’m not hunting for any particular species, just a bite. I’m about to hit up fresh water in hopes it may be a little easier.

Any tips?

Valve Cover Gasket 🙄

Pretty common I suppose? Just ordered everything I need. Not looking forward to this one. At least it’s not anything turbo related.

I have to say this is one of the chillest games I’ve been able to play in a while. Growing up, I loved old school Doom and for some reason, I feel like this is what Doom should’ve been.

The atmosphere gives off the movie ‘Annihilation’ along with the sound track with that mix of deep, deep Blade Runner and some heavy metal death vibes.

I’m in no way a sweat of a gamer but this definitely rewards you for trying(or just out of pity).

Dying and trying isn’t something you get punished for. I was playing for three straight hours which I haven’t done in a long, long time with video games.

Big fan.
