Which out of Parsec, Moonlight, and Apollo do you prefer/use?

I've used Moonlight a lot over the years but mainly on my Xbox. I am curious what the best client for game streaming to my android device is from my Windows PC at the moment?

I'm doing this with a wired over Ethernet Retroid Pocket 5 so latency shouldn't be too big of an issue.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Does Wistoria ever get good?

I am on the newest episode from Season 2 and he just got bait and switched AGAIN from meeting his girlfriend. They have played this exact same plotpoint so many times it is absolutely exhausting to watch.

I believe this is the third? time he has undoubtedly proven himself, by the rules of these consistently random interjectors, to be competent.

The dude can literally combo with any element and take out more monsters than any of these random people and yet the author keeps having random people hold the plot hostage. I'm so sick of tournaments and school and all this other bullshit with anime it's exhausting how these authors are so damn scared to progress their story.

Thoughts on wedding rings?

I don't think I could handle wearing a ring on my finger for more than a few minutes at a time. I don't even know why but the prospect bothers me a lot.

I was considering a solid black band on my ring finger. Maybe even a relatively thin line. I would still go to an expensive artist to make sure it's done right as it's my first tattoo.

Is this weird? I looked it up online it looks okay to me but I was curious what others thought.

[ASA] What are all known methods to speed this game up on older hardware?

This is for Ark Survival Ascended.

I have a friend who is on an older laptop and they can't seem to get a consistent result. We have been able to get around 40FPS stable on Ark Ascended but after updating his graphic drivers to hopefully squeeze out more frames the performance has tanked yet once again to the 20-30s.

We are using 720p windowed at the moment. We just want to get the game playable.

Playable in this context means 30FPS.

His GPU is a 1060 with 6gb of VRAM and his laptop has 32GB of RAM. The shared RAM total is like 12 gigabytes for the GPU or something to that effect.

Anyways, like I said, he would be happy with about 30+ FPS so I'm just trying to find out a way to get this game as close to that as we can. If it can't be done it can't be done. That being said we would like to try since we had it around 40FPS previously. Might have to revert the GPU driver.

When looking online a lot of this information wasn't organized so I wanted to compile some of it here.

What we've tried so far:

  • r.VolumetricCloud
  • r.Fog 0
  • r.Globalillumainationmethod
  • r.ShadowQuality 0<-- This makes the game basically unplayable due to visuals.
  • r.ContactShadows 0

Launch Arguments:

  • -useallavailablecores

Settings:

  • Everything set to lowest. Most features disabled.
  • Unreal Upscaling with 50% quality, we have tried shifting this around but his GPU isn't at 100% utilization.

I'm curious if anyone has any other suggestions to try out. I was looking around for some optimization mods but I didn't come across any. Is there any particular reason why an optimization mod can't be made or has noone tried yet?

We have noticed that some settings don't really affect his FPS at all, especially things that are GPU heavy. It seems like he might even be CPU bound in some capacity since you would expect cranking certain settings to drop the FPS.

Are there any console commands that optimize or assist with CPU usage?

Thanks for any additional information. We have tried a few other console commands as well but these are the ones that made the largest difference(s).

I have a pretty interesting shell which destroys certain mobs instantly, but others seem to be invulnerable to the frostbombs sometimes and I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I'm thinking the pulsing aura from frostbombs might not be indicative of the actual AOE of the damage blast at the end.

Anyhow, even with coldsnap mostly killing everything pretty easily I die almost instantly when I have mobs surround me. I was wondering if anyone familiar with assassin or right side builds could help me out?

https://pobb.in/H6-z6jvGJ2wY

I have spell suppression cap, 46% spell supp, immune to poison, immune to bleed./corrupted blood, 85% elemental resistances, 3.7k life 1.8k es, 6k evasion, 20% block chance, a bunch of DPS.

Not sure what else I can do to fix this up? Leveling has become impossible at this point. Was thinking of a companionship setup for tankiness, or maybe a golem of safeguarding?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

(The build is using Sands of Time / Triggerbots to bypass the CD of Frostbomb, it's actually really cool but a little clunky. Destroys bosses but I can't survive basically anything).

10% of phys converted only though probably has something to do with it.
