Sold 90% Of My Belongings To Be Voluntarily Homeless

i live in a place where the weather is always nice, with occasional rainstorms. I'm making $130,000 before tax through my remote job, and I'm voluntarily homeless

i sleep outside by the ocean every night with my jacket, sweats, and pillow. I have all my personal belongings in a storage unit that I pay $218 per month for. I have multiple gym memberships that serve different purposes, and my surfboards, which l use to surf every day. I've never felt more free in my entire life. I have portable stoves that allow me to cook my food

i still have my health insurance, phone bill, etc that I pay for. I've been investing 85% of my income, and so far it's working out for me

at this point I don’t even care about having an apartment anymore

everything is a lie in our world

I’d first like to say that I am typically a very optimistic individual, but coming to terms with how fake our world is and all the lies we’ve been fed from birth is very depressing. I just started saying “fuck it” to everything and everyone

I strongly dislike my parents for not helping my brother

My brother is homeless and surviving on bread while my adoptive parents are worth several, Ten+ million dollars.

My brother and I were adopted as infants and are only 16 months apart in age. I can't live with myself knowing that my adoptive parents aren't helping my brother, who is now in his late 20s and experiencing homelessness, despite having the financial means to do so.

I'm crying as I write this because I never, in a million years, thought something like this would happen.

i understand it’s not their obligation but man the world is fucked up for not wanting to help people
