[25] my life did a 180

my biggest insecurity was my smile due to severe bullying

It’s crazy how dramatically people treat you once you become more physically attractive. Doors that were once closed swing wide open. Strangers smile and hold eye contact. Friends who barely noticed you suddenly want to hang out more. Opportunities appear etc better conversations, flirtatious energy, even professional advantages almost overnight.

What hits hardest is realizing how much of it is superficial. The same personality, humor, and values you always had are now “charming” or “magnetic.” People listen more intently, laugh louder at your jokes, and offer help unprompted. You start questioning every interaction: Is this genuine, or just the halo effect

Growing up, I was bullied for my appearance and left feeling completely invisible to others. The constant comments and exclusion made me hate my life

But that’s changed now. I can confidently say I’ve had a glow-up, and it’s a weird but awesome feeling. The way people look at me and treat me is different

Unfortunately, having seen both sides has made me realize how many people are rude and fake. It’s eye-opening, but I’m grateful
