Washable (not tubing) drugstore mascara for sensitive eyes?

I use Clinique High Impact washable mascara. I try to just buy it when it's on sale, but a drugstore alternative would be great.

Looking for something that will wash off with regular face wash (I use Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser) without requiring an additional makeup remover product.

Do I have to take the doors off the hinges to replace these sweeps?

This feels like a dumb question, but I've never replaced door sweeps. Top one is a wooden front door, bottom one is an aluminum basement door. Thanks!

Reccommendations for rain garden design/install

Looking to get estimates for design and at least partial installation of a fairly small rain garden. We also need a percolation test. I have a list of recommended companies from the Watershed Stewards Academy but I'd love to know who people have used and if you had a good (or bad) experience.

Recommendations for air purifier for about 4000cf, US (Maryland)

Sorry, I know this sub is probably getting slammed with these requests.

Looking for a recommendation for an air purifier for a split foyer, open kitchen-dining-living room space that's approximately 4000cf of air volume.

East Coast of the US (Maryland). We have central air and I change the filter regularly. I dust regularly and we have hard floors that I vacuum (hepa filter)/dry mop/mop regularly.

Filtration needs:

- once a year "smoke season" that seems to be the new normal.

- pollen

- 2 cats

- asthma

Edit: would prefer something quiet. My husband wears hearing aids and background noise doesn't help.

Budget: $300? More concerned with effectiveness. The wildfire smoke isn't nearly as bad here as more northern areas but it's still setting off my asthma.

I don't mind building something, but I'm not sure I could keep my cats from clawing exposed filters on the outside.

Thanks!

Sungold, Fourth of July, Orange Zinger, and Napa Grape tomatoes!

This is what I picked over the last three days. Tonight the ripe ones went into a sauce, along with fresh basil, thyme, and oregano, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, bay scallops, and Old Bay. So good.

Zone 8a, Maryland, USA.

FF Product Round-Up: face, body, sunscreen, hair, makeup, lip

Inspired by a few other recent posts! Here's what's (mostly) working for me right now. I am 52F with combination skin, eczema, and rosacea. I also have migraine and asthma, both of which can be triggered by fragrance. Patch testing did not show true allergies. I'm sensitive to fragrance, niacinamide, and a lot of botanical extracts. My hair is fine with a slight wave, and going gray.

Product lists/reviews in comments.

What tools do you use for outdoor moss maintenance?

I have a 6-ft moss border along our shed I'm trying to encourage. Seeds from a nearby river birch tree get lodged in the moss. I've been brushing the seeds off with my hands, and weeding out the little sprouts, but I'm wondering if there's a better way to get rid of the seeds. Leaf blower? Soft dust broom?

Quitar, sacar, or eliminar for "to remove" (a plant)?

There are multiple verbs that mean "to remove," including *quitar,* *sacar,* *eliminar,* *retirar,* and *extirpar.*

If the context is, "do you want us to remove this ivy?" which one should I use? The ivy that is growing on the side of my neighbor's shed, so it's removing from a vertical surface.

My best guess is "¿Quiere que le quitamos este hiedro?"

Maryland Supreme Court removes Anne Arundel Orphans’ Court Judge Marc Knapp

As far as I know he's still on the ballot in the primary.

>In a ruling issued Thursday afternoon, the Supreme Court of Maryland removed embattled Anne Arundel County Orphans’ Court Judge Marc Knapp from office, effective immediately.

>A Maryland ethics commission recommended the probate judge be removed in an opinion published in March. In its opinion, the commission said Knapp “embarrasses the Maryland judiciary.” The Supreme Court, in its ruling, called Knapp’s misconduct “egregious.”

Hi, I'm fairly new to Maryland. I have a doctor's appointment coming up at Green Spring Station/Timonium. It'll be mid-day so rush hour isn't a factor.

Google maps suggests 97N to either 695 East 895 to a bunch of things or 695 West. They're about the same amount of time (about an hour). Is one route less stressful driving than the other? Is there another route you'd suggest?

Thanks so much.

Edited bc it's not really 695 East.

Edit 2: I think I'm gonna drive to Glen Burnie and take the light rail to Timonium, and then a quick Lyft to the doctor. It's a follow up for spinal/neck surgery and I have enough problems without my neck muscles tensing up all around Baltimore. Really appreciate everyone's input! People in Maryland are so nice.
