First scratch build almost complete

Home made one piece aluminum chassis, injora 39mm, Amazon flat skid with upper link mounts removed, meus deadbolt double bend links and iso v2's. Robskii body. Amazon brushless motor came with broken wires, so waiting for a replacement.

My first scratch build

I really like the robskii one piece chassis but I like to make things when possible so I designed my own and made it out of some scrap aluminum. A little bit sloppy but good enough, I'm happy for a first try, aluminum like this is sorta tough to work with (at least for someone who's never done anything with aluminum in their life). Wheels and tires are just placeholders.

Tearing apart my m52 with plans to rebuild. First full engine build and would like advice.

I have an m52b28 from my 36 that was making a whacky noise awhile ago and in a fit of rage one night I ripped it out of the car. Now 2 years later I want to drive my 36 again and it seems like I was right to pull the engine as the cylinder walls look pretty rough. Can feel that scoring with my thumbnail which I assume means either new motor or full rebuild, not the dinkleball rebuild I was hoping for.

I think I've decided on boring for s52 pistons and running an s52 crank as well. I'd like to keep the stock cams even if the powerband isn't ideal or exactly like the m3. Is that a bad idea?

I also have flashed tunes for ews delete and things like that, so am hoping to learn the level of tuning I need to learn in order to fix the fuel maps etc for the 3.2.

Do any of you have any advice for doing an m52/s52 frankenbuild or general m5x rebuild? I'm unsure where to start. I could buy a used engine, but that's what I did this time and it didn't turn out so well, plus I'd like to learn how to build an engine and think I can do it for a similar price.

My spare parts fcx24 build

I have another one that I went through so many parts building. The leftover parts and stock parts built this one. Homemade shock keys front and rear for adjustability, some shocks, some links, some weight, and an ir40 body.

Has anyone figured out a way to get rid of the super loose gear lash in the portals? Tough to crawl these things downhill with bigger tires because the thing will just roll like 3 inches off a rock.

How bad is this scoring in my m52?

Reposting because mods locked the thread because my screenshots included ads.

Important to note that it's not meant to be a perfect engine, if itll run decent and maybe burn some oil or something that's alright with me. I'm wondering ifI should tear this engine down further/consider replacement. I tore it down because it sounded like it was rod knocking but I've found no evidence of anything like that except for this scoring, thinking it could have been piston slap, but this scoring doesn't look that bad to me. I'm an idiot though. I visually checked rod and main bearings, they looked good, pistons themselves appear in decent shape to the extent I can see them without removing them. Just trying to decide whether I should take the head off/look for a replacement shortblock. If I get optimistic feedback that this could work okay, I'll probably just put it back together and get it into the car, as it's a cheap project car.

Most of the front suspension has been replaced at some point in the last couple years. New rack and tie rods, uca and lca, ball joints, shocks, torsion bars and cv's have all been replaced. The video is of me rocking the truck side to side, and I can feel it in the floor when I'm driving. Everything seems tight and healthy under there though and it feels totally fine on the road. Just a noise I don't like.

We didn't vote for trump and don't approve of basically any of the current outward policies, but I'm nervous people will sort of...hate us? I think we're good travelers and try to be courteous and speak the language when possible, etc. Is it a valid concern and what can I do to be a "good American" if good and bad ones exist?

My guess is it's not, pretty close to the shoulder. I did check, it leaks air so it will need repair or replacement.
