What the hell happened?

I've been a GameStop Pro member since I can remember and I'm even an ex employee. On my last visit I was going to renew my pro membership and noticed it's gone up $10. That's okay and all since inflation is a thing but redeeming my coupons and points has turned into such a pain in the ass.

Just simply asking the cashier was great and speedy.

I also noticed prices have been extremely stubborn. Like damn. That games still $60? Don't even get me started on how every promotion I've seen lately has been very misleading because of wording

Weather JW did it on purpose or not

After waiting so long for these bandits, it was pretty cool to actually see that they exist. In a way this entire situation was beneficial to The Fun Pimps. They've eroded the trust of the community by delaying so much and not staying to their word, that I legit thought the bandits were just bullshit.

For a moment there after seeing the chicken coop and bandits, I was legit hyped. The Fun Pimps were doing SO good about interacting with the community lately if you guys haven't noticed as well. I thought The Pimps might've just turned a new leaf.

Now we're exhausting resources trying to smoke one of our biggest YouTubers INSTEAD of delivering our WORD.

Decided to actually give Farcry 6 a try

Not gonna lie. The lack of a Skill Tree is the biggest issue with this one. Should've been a combination of the clothing system and a tree tbh.

But there really is a lot to like with this one. The gunplay feels great. Dani interacting with the environment and reacting to things is cool. The game is beautiful no doubt. My personal favorite is seeing the HEALING ANIMATIONS. There isn't a huge variety like in Farcry 2 but I'm very happy to see them again. These should have never been removed in this franchise.

Overall this game is pretty mid if not a little higher than mid. It mainly just gets me excited for the next game. If they take all the good things they did here, write a better story with a better antagonist, throw the damn skill tree back in, we'd probably have a Farcry game better than we've ever had.

We need an average joe thrown into the jungle kinda like Jason was. A darker and immersive tone like farcry 2 would be an amazing change of pace. Antagonist? Gonna be very hard to top Vaas. I wish Ubisoft luck with that one.

If they don't fumble the black flag remake, Farcry 7 could be VERY VERY good

The Turnover Rate makes Home Depot Undesirable

I worked in Lumber for about 4 years and left about a year and a half ago. I actually got a call a couple days ago asking me to come back so obviously I'm going down memory lane here.

Home Depot was a nice place to work. I enjoyed the people I worked with, operating machinery, and even the physical labor. Overall I was pretty happy. The way Home Depot fires people is the reason why I left.

While I was there I watched many get fired. Mainly for attendance which I understand. But there were a handful that were definitely very petty. It was pretty clear to just avoid getting in trouble for the most part.

During my last year I got put on a final for respect. A lady waited too long for the saw and I guess she was trying to talk to me while I was cutting. She complained I was extremely rude. This was just a dumb situation all around lol

Anyway, a month or 2 before that final was up, I got called in the office. I was asked if I knew anything about a guy named Justin I think? Of course I have no idea who this is but apparently a customer complained about how I was banging his wife that worked there. On top of that I was also apparently spreading nasty rumors about him. They questioned me for a while, I made a statement, then I was let go.

A couple days later I quit after I found another job. For all I know, they saw it as easier just to let me go. I really did like working for Home Depot but every relationship is built on Trust

Really miss the realism of the older games

Farcry 2 was just so damn brutal. I think it's the healing animations I miss the most. I was sad to see how they kinda dumbed them down in farcry 3. Don't get me wrong though, that game was just as good but in a different way.

I'm just kinda waiting...

Left some months ago because turnover was increasing. That's a pretty solid sign to dip. Anyway, how long can Burlington keep this up before it actually starts to effect the company financially? I'm amazed it's gone on this long while still continuing to grow

Not really sure what happened with the newest trilogy but it's like they didn't even really understand Star Wars over at Disney.

First, the mysterious and almost religious tone of the force was gone. It was almost like it turned into a tool or something. The "wise monk who trained ridiculously hard" vibe is just not there.

Second, Luke wasn't even his character? Dudes entire purpose was to never give up. He was literally hope. He also showed much compassion. I feel like this could've been done differently. Maybe he reached enlightenment in a cave somewhere and showed compassion to everyone. Even those who were on the dark side. Causing him to "hang up" his Saber.

Third and my biggest issue. Disney just doesn't know how to make a bad guy? Kylo just fell flat. Vader and The Emperor were some BAD guys. Emperor was very strategic and Vader had strength. They literally could have just reversed these roles or something. Had a strong ruthless guy leading and the other "whispering" in their ear. Kylo was also crazy emotional like this was a soap opera. I don't want to watch a "bad" guy have a repeated identity crisis. Also, the suffering Vader went through makes Kylo look like a baby. The final nail in the coffin, The Emperor was DEAD

I'm not going to say what Disney did was bad because the movies were good. It's just before you continue a story, make sure you understand the story as well as the vibe
