I’m in University Village East and SOMEHOW didn’t get any parking permits, even though S-18 was at the top of my priority, that’s the one for UV East. I couldn’t care less about any other spots.

The email I got this morning said that residents would be closer to the top of the priority for their respective lots, is there not enough space in the S-18 lot for everybody staying in UV East? I feel like it’s an odd lot for anyone not living there to want.

I applied as a part specialist (I think that was the title?) because I heard they do extra bilingual pay, and that was the only opening at the store close to me. I would be coming from a restaurant job at one of the worst chain restaurants to work at ever. Obviously everybody complains about their jobs, but how bad do you think this would be coming from restaurant hell?

I’m 18 and recently picked up a second job, on my tax forms, there was a section to fill out if you (will) have multiple jobs, or a checkmark if it’s exactly 2, I checked the box, thinking this would lower the income tax from my jobs (and because if was the truth). I also updated my tax forms at my primary job to have this checked off too.

I haven’t gotten a paycheck from the new job yet (paid monthly) but my past couple paychecks from my first job (weekly), I feel like the taxes have been higher? It was literally half of my paycheck this week. I’m also in a tipped position in my primary job so that makes this a million times more complicated.

No, I don’t remember what tax form this is, but I can check if necessary.

I don’t see myself staying with the company for much longer at all, but where can I apply that would be a “step up” from OG?

I got the last bed available in University Village East today and I’m just wondering how to find out who my roommate is gonna be.

Also, what do you guys know about UVE? I literally never heard of it until I was selecting rooms today and it was the only one available with the bathroom in the room and that was the priority.

I don’t think this is breaking the rule about housing because I’m not searching for a roommate. I’m trying to find out who my roommate is.

I got my appointment time today and it said I can check room availability on TDH but I can’t find that anywhere on the website.

Title. I heard that all of the halls recently got renovated so I think it’s worth asking, it just looks like a laundromat turned summer camp according to the virtual tour.

The highest math I’ve ever taken (besides a STAT 2000 equivalent class) was Algebra 2 in High School, I’m trying to test out of Math 1113, my plan is to use Khan Academy’s Algebra 2 and Precalc modules, but I’m not sure that Khan Academy is the best environment to see these concepts for the first time.

My mom is forcing me to call out tomorrow or throw me out of the house (she wants to get lunch 🧍‍♂️), do I have anything to worry about on the restaurant side of things? I’m psyching myself out to think I’m getting fired for this but could anyone give any insight to what will happen? In case you couldn’t tell I’m already stressed enough by my mom and knowing what could happen would really help that.
