Do not buy these whirlpool/Maytag
Normally, I wouldn’t go out of my way to do this, but I am so irritated with whirlpool sending these things out people buying them and getting totally screwed over when the wire connected to the pump brakes you can’t see it because it’s wrapped in tape here you can see the two wires I’ve already untapped and stripped them cause I’m about to replace the wire, but one wire was completely broken. The other one broke off as I was trying to remove their absolutely deplorable tape stay away from these units, there’s also another one that looks similar to it that has the power button on it where the big silver knob is stay away from those do not give whirlpool your money. They do not care. I’ve been seeing this over and over and over again at this point, I feel that this is gonna be their way of making sure it breaks so that you have to buy another one if you’ve had a problem I class-action it or attempt to.
