Wanted A Quick Victory, Accidentally Encircled Their Entire Army
Like I need help, how do I quickly take out Poland without deploying 59789547589 paratroopers
You Have To Be Joking
This RNG simulator is insane. This random event just killed my son and heir. Kcfrijviljvgldkjmbgvlk.
I do have other children who have good stats so this doesn't really bother me but imagine if this happened to like a heir with top traits.
They Won't Stop Retreating
I crushed their army again and again and again, now I am looking to face them again but they have deployed a new tactic, they just march away from me when I get close and I can't take forts as when I do, they will take mine and I can't attack them since they'll just retreat. My logistics isn't made for chasing and my soldiers starve while I do that.
What do I do?
The War Is Lost
I was so close, I won so many great victories and then I became overconfident and invaded Poland, hoping to create a new kingdom led by my dynasty and religion.
I defeated the Poles multiple times with my superior army and I almost occupied all of their sea access.
Then they came with their largest army so far in the the war, they had an holy order with them too which had western heavy cavalry.
While my cavalry was the finest in my region, they failed against the armored mounted knights and now my ruler has fled home and her son has taken over command.
The war lasted years and I was so close to winning, now I am defeated.
From The Old World's Demise, See An Empire Rise
God, I love map painting and creating my Swedish power-fantasy.
I Really Wish There Were Christianity Events In Asatruan Scandinavia Like In CK2
It should at least come with Northern lords.
I have been playing in Scandinavia for quite a while not and there is no sign of Christianity.
I need Christianity to become feudal (I can organize Asatru but I am not doing that) but it breaks immersion to have a pagan ruler just become Christian.
IRL, rulers became Christian due to others influencing them and their people, they didn't wake up one day and started believing in Jesus.
Sami Confederation Is Unified, Can It Become A Kingdom?
I know it CAN but idk if the AI is smart enough to create a kingdom, if they become a kingdom, we will have three regional powers.
What Do You Genuinely Do In This Situation
Guy just became king of Sweden only for a superpower and a regional power to declare war on him and then a pretty big revolt shows up.
This is not mentioning the more weaker chiefdom that also declared war.
What can you do about this?
Alexander The Great Wasn't Actually Great
As a king, you should know more than just war and considering that Alexander the Great's empire was unstable and fell the moment he died, he obviously wasn't very good at governing.
He was a behemoth, a titan in terms of military command and if he was just a military commander, I would call him great. But he was not just a military commander, he was an absolute ruler of a kingdom that became an empire.
We say Peter the Great, he fought battles, he defeated Swedish forces and secured trade routes while founding a city. He wasn't as great of a commander as his rival Charles was but he did modernize the armed forces which secured victory over the Swedes.
He modernized his country, took inspiration from more developed countries and laid it into his own.
That is a person deserving of the title "The Great" in my opinion, not Alexander.
It's A Sin That Napoleon Isn't A Marshal
Napoleon, one of history's greatest military commanders.
You're telling me that Napoleon IV isn't allowed to do what his ancestor did and conquer Europe by his military leadership?
Anyone Else Despise This Unit Design?
What's with the beard? What's with the blue uniform? Didn't France suffer casualties because they had blue visible uniforms in WW1?
I get the spiked helmet but literally nothing else with this design.
You Would Think That For A Region Controlled By A Military, Their Army Would Actually Have A Fighting Force In Them
There is nothing in these divisions, like this can't be historically accurate, it can't.
Why would Kai-Shek make the Northeastern Army and not equipping the army?
Am I doing Good?
Hello, just got the game and I am playing Poland, I watched a guide and I'm just wondering if I am doing this correct.
Couldn't Dumbledore Have Won Without Harry?
I am a huge fan of the HP series, watched a lot of lore and theories and I do wonder if Harry really was needed. Obviously he was since Dumbledore got killed but his death was due to the horocrux poison.
If he never put on the ring, couldn't he win? He has strong magic users in his school and the ministry on his side so by using them to his aid, can't he destroy the horcruxes without Harry?
As the strongest wizard ever, (possibly below Merlin) he could easily defeat the Death Eaters and then finally face Voldemort.
We all know that Dumbledore is stronger than Voldemort and without the horocruxes, Dumbledore could kill him for good.
How Much Will This Affect The Crown Power Min Maxxing?
So crown power has been important in this game due to the fact that it increases income, but the new patch will make change things and quite a lot, 10% is not a tiny amount.
So I wanted to ask if anyone knows exactly how much this will nerf crown power.
I Don't Get the Game And I Have 600 Hours
What do I do? Half my realm is split, I am the Napoleonic realm and everything just seems fucked. Like everything.
I am soon to go into debt, half my country is split, I am fighting several wars, outnumbered.
I don't understand the game.
The Founder Of The Empire Died, Left Behind A Fortune And A Great Army, It's All Gone After One Revolt
Pain.
I had to delete my army since I lost money daily, then my vassals rose up, I had to cripple my treasury to afford mercenaries and now I am in debt, a weakened military and in control of an unstable empire.
Found A Cool Thing That Nobody Uses
You have a ledger that shows you a bunch of interesting stuff. I don't see it helping you but it's interesting to look at what's going on in your game.
I found it in the buttons besides the speed mechanic, in the bottom right, when I was looking for a way to change the paper map to non-paper (is that even something you can do?)
Anyways, thought I'll share this.
