Now we’re being harassed

this is an update from my last post

They’re still leaving notes even after the front office told them to not leave notes since they don’t want to communicate directly with us. They’ll leave the notes on the side of our door to avoid our camera but our neighbors across the hall have a camera and they actually communicate with us. So we can obviously see it’s her. I have seen them several times watching our balcony whenever they step outside. They’re also banging on the ceiling whenever we move around now. I do not know what they’re hearing. We are absolutely not up at 3am. We’re in bed because we have to work during the day.

I think it’s so interesting they feel “threatened” and “uncomfortable” when I knocked on their door once but this is the 3rd time they’ve left notes and are watching us?? I don’t know what to do, they won’t talk directly to us, the apartment complex can’t control them, if I try to leave them notes it’ll be seen as retaliatory because the property manager told both parties to have all communication through the apartment complex since the neighbors did not want to directly communicate. Again we are a black & mixed couple and they’re 2 white women.

I could see if we had children or dogs running around, that’s valid. But these are also the same people that complained that we flush too loudly so I think not everything is right up there. I’m not going to be bullied into submission by 2 crazy Karens.

The Nun of Burgundy

I was doing a Norman run tryna reform Asatru and make Francia an Asatru Empire.

Somehow this nun inherited Burgundy and Italy, I'm guessing through vassal revolt and placing her upon the throne seeing as she's a Karling, but she has managed to grow her kingdom quite vastly.

By the time she died she captured all of Aquitaine, Lotharingia, and Frisia, but she couldn't quite form the HRE.

Be Loud

Don't shut up about Netanyahu being able to fly over Canada with zero repercussions.

Support for Palestine is an issue that has consistently risen while support for Israel is an issue that has consistently dropped.

We are a part of the ICC and Netanyahu is a wanted man.

Netanyahu being able to fly over Canada without repercussions means with either Carney knew it would happen and allowed it or Carney didn't know about it and therefore it's a violation of our sovereignty.

The same way Russia has been letting a missile or two "slip" into Poland to test NATOs boundaries, Netanyahu is testing Carney's boundaries to see how serious we as a nation are.

I think we all recognize that Netanyahu wouldn't do this to a country he knows wouldn't let that fly (pun intended), so Netanyahu has either called Carney's bluff successfully or actively and wilfully ignored our sovereignty.

We can easily maintain this issue's position in the conversation if we don't shut up about it.

Being on the right side of history is good, but being consistently vocal about being on the right side of history is better.

The Fires

I'm genuinely shocked at how many people I've seen post on here and other cities Reddits along with all the people I've spoken to today that seem completely blindsided by the smokey conditions we're dealing with today.

This is like the fourth year in a row that the country has been on fire in the summer resulting in us having terrible air quality for like a month.

Every single year there's a new "hottest temperature on record" recorded and for the last month we've been dealing with consistently over 30 degree temperatures.

I mean this in the nicest and most respectful way possible, but get your heads out of your asses and recognize that this is the new norm because your ignorance has allowed it to happen and continue to happen.

Going forward, this is going to happen again and again every year until there's nothing left to burn, unless we do something about it.

Our provincial and federal government's are either not doing enough to mitigate the causes or are actively inflaming (pun intended) the causes with their policies.

DOUG FORD AND DANIELLE SMITH WANT TO BUILD A PIPELINE FROM ALBERTA TO SOUTHERN ONTARIO TO REFINE MORE OF THE SHIT THAT IS ACTIVELY MAJORLY CONTRIBUTING TO THE LITERAL HEAT DEATH OF CANADA.

TLDR: The country is literally on fire. This is like the fourth year in a row this has happened. This is the new norm and it will just get worse every year until there's nothing left to burn.
