Yoshi's Island DS and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - real?

Got these two games in a DS lot in 2019. Yoshi's Island works perfectly, but Mario & Luigi crashes quite a lot.

Been waiting to get this game ever since I got my Wii back in 2019. Never got it until now due to the massive price for the GameCube version in PAL regions. The XBOX version is only a bit cheaper, but it's what I'd consider to be the best version, so I got that instead.
