I arranged a USPS because I had 10 packages and it was a lot to haul to the post office. They came and picked them up at 5:35pm yesterday (got email confirmation and packages were replaced by my own deliveries so definitely USPS who took them), it’s now midnight the next day (so well over 24 hours and a full business day has elapsed) and the tracking numbers off the shipping labels still just say shipping label printed. Trying to be patient but seems these packages sitting in a post office or mail truck with no documentation (beyond pickup confirmation which isn’t specific to the packages, just that there were 10) that they’ve taken possession and I no longer have them? Is this normal/has this happened to you?

A bit worried since these packages have deadlines to ship and the tracking numbers don’t back up my claim that I shipped them on time, but I did.

I recently purchased a home with a large stone fireplace chimney that goes up about 2 stories under a vaulted ceiling. It’s been painted white, and both of my handymen have been opposed to trying to strip it. They’ve encouraged the idea of painting it to look like stone, but I don’t want to put another layer of paint on it and think painted “natural” stone never looks right. Are there contractors out there who’d be likely to do this for a reasonable price? Or is it either going to cost an arm and a leg, or I’ll have to deal with it? Would it even be likely to look good afterwards, like truly stripped off? It’s rather bumpy. Thanks!

How/why does Brooks not have a Wikipedia page? I know he’s a relatively small celebrity but I’m surprised he doesn’t have a page listing his discography, info about his childhood, wife and kids etc.
