Do a deep dive into the family of your local pro-life politicians. The ones that rail against abortion as loudly as possible. Find the ones with bangable sons, and roll the dice on getting sperminated by the best prospect.

Once you're preggers and past the time where a miscarriage is likely, drop the baby bombshell on the baby daddy and his parents. Discreetly record the meeting.

If the political parent shows their two-faced nature and pressures you into an abortion, you have ammo on tape and I trust you'll know what to do with that.

If they are legit sincere on their views, they'll want to get the mother of their grandchild cared for and more presentable to public/press/extended family- so you'll get help with medical care, a nepo-job, etc.

TL;DR I'm overwhelmed AF by these fleas, what practical hacks worked for you after you waged your own battle?

A few days ago, it became clear that my house has been infiltrated by these bloodsuckers.

It's just me and my lovable indoor fleabag. Which wouldn't be so daunting if I wasnt terminally messy. Like one upstairs storage room is....mostly impassable. I'm not a hoarder, just a pack rat with terrible organizational skills; throwing stuff away doesn't make me upset or on the verge of a breakdown.

So the amount of declutter that I need to do is massive. The vacuuming. The laundry. The guest bedrooms on the second floor.

Giving my cat his flea bath was unpleasant but at least it's over. Before the bath, I gave him a med that kills all the fleas on him within 24 hours, and I followed that up with Advantage multi, but it mostly got into his hair and not his skin.

Assuming that I don't win the lottery or come into some other windfall that allows me to take the shirt on my back and cat into a brand new home, what hacks worked well for you?

Like many hefty people, I have a pretty big sweet tooth. So imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw lots of low sugar fruity candy on my grocer's clearance rack last night. And not the usual stuff that's meant for diabetics, but the bougie candy that I normally wouldn't touch because it is expensive.

While I'm mostly a chocoholic, I can walk on the fruity side for a bargain. So I grabbed some peach rings, strawberry licorice, sour fruity stars, and so on. They're half-off and low sugar, so I filled a basket with the goodies and headed to checkout with the rest of my groceries.

During my drive, I try the licorice- not as good as my fave, but way better than Twizzlers. I get home, put the groceries away, eat dinner, relax with a streaming movie, and finish up the licorice. I later grab a bag of peach rings.

Decent enough, and I look at the nutrition label in depth and notice the fiber content- 12 grams. Intrigued, I look at the other bag and see that it has 26 grams of fiber. I'm slightly alarmed because 40 grams of fiber in such a short period can't be good, especially since I already take a fiber supplement twice a day.

Later that night, it begins. The farts aren't loud, but each one smells worse than the previous one. My cat starts wishing for thumbs so he can call and report my butt for hate crimes against felines.

Today has been more of the same. On top of methane emissions that put cows to shame, the farts have started to burn upon release. More than a few nose hairs have ragequit because of the unending stream of toots unleashing fumes that trigger an unpleasant tingle in the nose.

TL;DR I overdosed on low sugar/high fiber fruit candy, and the flatulence marathon is about to knock me out.

I am a Yank that has watched more than a few whodunit series from your side of the pond. Not exhaustive by any means, but more than is usual for someone enduring the idiocy of Hair Furor.

In the past 6 months or so, I have watched Sister Boniface Mysteries, the first third of Father Brown, and I'm currently making my way through Grantchester.

All 3 of those series have had one cricket centric episode (thus far- I can't speak to the seasons I haven't completed), where racism against South Asians is a plot point for the story. And thus far, they are the only episodes that have Desi characters.

Is this a common trope for modern shows set in 50s/60s English villages? Or is it just luck of the draw that the 3 series I have to reference all made this particular choice?

Are there other common vehicles for introducing Indian/Pakistani characters in British period series?

Sort of like how some people watch horror movies on Valentine's Day, I am watching Serial Mom and will likely follow that up with Mommie Dearest.

Any suggestions that fit the vibe?
