Welcome to the Underground! Chose one of its nine regions to get a house and live

This includes OG game and UT Yellow ofc. Here we have:

- Ruins, lair of the former queen Toriel Dreemurr

- Dark Ruins, lair of Dalv

- Lower Snowdin, lair of Martlet

- Snowdin, lair of Sans and Papyrus

- Waterfall, lair of Undyne and Napstablook

- Dunes, lair of Starlo and Ceroba

- Steamworks, lair of Axis

- Hotland, lair of Alphys and Mettaton

- New Home, the kingdom's capital, lair of King Asgore Dreemurr, in his castle

(In terms of sub-areas, Snowdin has its wilderness forest area and the main Snowdin Town, while Hotland has two sub-areas: CORE and True Lab, and Dunes has the East Mines.)

I'll start, I pick Snowdin easily (OG or Lower, both are good), I like cold places, and it feels very cozy. What's yours?

Under Asgore's rulership, the Kingdom of the Underground remains eternal...

Missed opportunity to have two new styles: Lava Breathing and Ice Breathing

The breathing style family tree is an interesting concept for me, seeing the derivations of the breathing styles.

But it's kind of a missed opportunity to make stuff with lava and ice, which are natural extensions of already existing elements.

Lava could've been a derivative from Stone Breathing (lava is molten rock, duh, it's imo cooler than following the cliche of Fire -> Lava, so I chose Stone over Flame), keeping the traits of a chained weapon colored in a redder orange, with the difference is that it's volatile, lighter, and more offensive compared to the sturidiness of Stone. I like to image that Genya would use something like this if he could use a breathing style, mixing his hotheaded aggression with the discipline of Gyomei, thus making Lava.

Ice is something I wanted to make differently. Instead of being a Water derivative, I chose Mist, as I wanted to follow a more unique path like this: Mist -> Fog -> Cold air fog -> Cold -> Ice/Snow. It would use a standard katana colored in light pale blue (less cyan-oriented than Mist's blade color), and while it keeps the obscurity traits, it would be more aggressive, yet calculated. It's about timing, patiently still like ice, until the opening appears and the blade emerges from the obscuring frost and cuts like a freezing snowstorm. I like to imagine Aoi using it, when she decides to train and finds some affinity with Mist, creating Ice, and she wouldn't need to be an aggressive powerful fighter to fight, having patience as focus (and patience is a nod to Water, too, so things come in full circle).

Ik lava is in theory fiery like Flame and Sun, and ice is present in the series as Doma's BDA, but I still wanted to imagine, I think it would be cool.

How relative were the hashiras (no marks) against the upper moons they fought?

I mean, was [insert hashira vs UM here] battle a 50/50? A high diff? A mid diff? A low diff? You get it.

Ranking the upper moons by how much I like them

- 1: Cocomelon (The Roaring Knight of this series, requiring a massive team battle just to lose his head, and has an interesting backstory showing that, while he wasn't always evil, he deliberately chose the darkness)

- 2: Guitar (Peak skeletal body horror design, crazy personality and violent blood powers, truly a wacko who is always going for the kill, and I love that... yet a brother who cares about his sister more than anything)

- 3: Basketball (Probably the most tragic upper moon, one who was never evil in first place and got forcefully corrupted by Muzan's blood. His first appearance showcased upper moons are no joke)

- 4: Pixar's Inside Out (A deep dive into the head of a mentally ill serial killer, with complex BDA and gimmicks to deal with having multiple emotions who manifest to protect him, with Zohakuten having the vibe of a demonic god. Among the four Kidoairaku, I'd say my favorite is the chicken)

- 5: Not-Serious Man (His psychopathy makes him an unsettling villain, an emotionless man with a broken BDA, whose hunger was his downfall. I wish he showed more battle scenes tho)

- 6: Kenjaku (The traitor, a lightning user and personal nemesis of Zenitsu who doesn't care about anyone but himself. He was made to be hated and it works, and his lightning BDA is pretty nice, and I wish I could see more of him)

- #7: The Little Mermaid (Body horror incarnated and a twisted mind, an abomination who lives inside a pot and has a versatile and bizarre BDA. Can transform into a second form, and overall, he's peak body horror, but unfortunately wasn't as interesting as the other UMs and was wasted)

- 8: Dakilele (The diva of the upper moons. The sister of #2. While she got an interesting bratty personality, other upper moons got better combat styles and BDA. Obi sash tendrils are just cool I guess)

- 9: Mike Wazowski (Unfortunately no personality, barely speaks, had the worst UM "battle" of the series... actually, can I even call that a battle? Anyway, at least she got a redeeming quality in the form of having dimensional powers.

Ranking the hashiras by how much I like them

- 1: It's Just a Burning Memory (honorary protagonist, Hollow Knight-esque fighting style somehow, got way better after his development, said development that also made me like the character, who went from an empty jerk to a nice kid who shows emotions)

- 2: God of Flashiness (charismatic, coolest fighting style, coolest weapons, and best anime battle, bro refuses to fall even when he's getting cooked by poison. Kaboom)

- 3: Extra Crispy Donut (determination in the form of a person, uses my favorite breathing style, and completed his duty)

- 4: Salami (aggressive fighting style, intense personality mid-battle, actually got better and even apologized to Nezuko in the ending)

- 5: "I'm a little butterfly" (interesting backstory, Silksong-esque fighting style, resolve against Doma, the unique case of using prep time and making contingencies to compensate for her weaknesses)

- 6: Friendless (good development, resolve to protect Tanjiro and his allies, got fleshed out the most I'd say, got cool battle moments and character-awaking moment against Akaza)

- 7: The Rock (kinda interchangeable with #6, but he's still peak, with a crazy unique fighting style, backstory that explains his character, and a stoic posture that makes moments of him getting mad scary)

- 8: My queen (GOTTA MARRY HER, she's kindness embodied, but got wasted potential as a character and the author fumbled her hard in the final arc)

- 9: Oppenheimer (rushed development, he's kinda buns ngl, I didn't get attached and he's rude but didn't get a "redemption". Cool design tho)
