New vinyl pull today. The last one is a band I’ve never heard of. Just like the old days when trying to discover new bands, I thought the album cover was kinda sick and figured I’d check it out.

Got my very first record player and I decided to unbox it and give it a spin. The very first record I decided to listen on it is old school, Black Sabbath

I am loving it so far. Kinda wish I started my collection sooner, but I am happy I did through.

Also, added new vinyls to my collection recently as well!

The very first records I’ve ever bought! Now my collection shall begin.

The only (two) bummers are, 1, they didn’t have any Barnes era CC, but I will happily take George’s first CC album though.

And 2, I was limiting myself to just one today, but damn it was hard to choose, so I just had to get two.

34m, noticed on my left side looks like I have two widows peaks if you look closely enough. I have also noticed along the hairline, short hairs nowhere near as long as what I have now. Also, looking at my hairline, looks like you can see the scalp for .5inch - 1 inch beyond the hairline where it’s losing density, then gets thicker.

I’m also almost 5 months into growing my hair out (want it to be chest length, ultimate goal). But I’m also worried my hair will look like shit if I grow it all out while my hair line is receding.

I scheduled an appointment in hoping to eventually meet with a derm and see what options I have to prevent more.

I’m currently 4 months in, almost 5 in two weeks. The first 5 pics or so is when it’s styled. Kinda don’t care for it, but whatever, I’ll do whatever to make it look decent until it starts growing out, otherwise I’m wearing a hat. I can officially say the awkward phase SUCKS, but I’m willing to get through it!

Then the last few pics is when my hair is wet and completely down. And as you can see my hair loves to lay right in front of my left eye.

Should I get my hair shaped because of it? Cause when it grows out way more, not sure how much of a pain in the ass it’s going to be

And another question is, although probably difficult to answer at this time, but is it possible to gauge how long hair will look on me this early?

Have been using Hinge for roughly a year and some change. About a month or so ago, I wasn’t using it for a month. Or if I was, I wasn’t swiping really, I’d check it for any updates, then log off for the day, if not longer.

For a couple weeks now, been using it daily. Sending likes and some comments

Would receive a few likes here and there, mainly from the “most compatible” thing they do every once in a while. A couple weeks ago was the most activity I saw in a while, roughly 4/5 matches in a week or week and a half. Have had 5 or 6 dates from Hinge since September 2025

I’m a metalhead and a gamer, and I feel like those are very niche, especially the metal music. I am completely okay with dating someone that doesn’t listen to it or doesn’t go to shows either.

I’m a metalhead who has been on Bumble for a while. Getting a few matches here and there, but when I do, no one responds if she has opening moves. Even if they don’t, I don’t get any messages.

But my Bumble is very similar to my Hinge, and I have had better luck on Hinge, even going on dates from it.

I have Spotify connected, does music choice really make a huge difference?

This is my favorite Cannibal album, and can’t lie, even for this price, the album print inside the vest looks awesome.

Don’t mind the flatness in the pics, I wear a hat a lot.

Currently have wavy hair and growing it out. Last trim was a week or two ago with a lineup. Last full haircut was in February.

My current routine is shampoo wash 2/3 times a week and I follow it up with a separate conditioner.

And I also condition everyday as well. Not currently using any hair oil and have not started using sea salt spray yet. I comb it in the morning and then blow dry with warm air. Then will use a medium hold paste to style it.

Does anyone have any tips I can start doing now before the hair starts getting even longer than it is now, and then when it’s much longer?

I have been thinking about it for a couple days after sewing on a couple more in the front. Then the other picture is what I have left (for now), as I will be getting more patches soon. I don’t know, I feel like no matter where I stick the patches that are left over, I just feel, meh, about placements.

Also, the other front pocket, across from the Umbrella patch, will be a Nile patch of the same size, just haven’t sewn it on yet.

Saw clips of these guys on a Battlejackets London video, and I have been listening to this album and it’s awesome. Released in 2025, and one EP
