Can’t login to my Vinted account

Vinted was having problems earlier and it logged me out of my account. When I tried to log back in, it kept saying my password was incorrect. I tried requesting a password reset email several times, but I never received anything—even after checking spam, junk, and basically every folder in my email.
I reached out to Vinted support and got an automated response telling me to try logging in with Google because I might not have a password associated with my account. I think that may actually have been the case. However, when I tried logging in with Google, it ended up creating a completely new Vinted account using the same email address.
Now I’m stuck because I have both purchases and sales currently in transit, and I really need access to my original account in case anything goes wrong with one of the orders.
I’ve contacted customer service again, but I haven’t heard back. Everything I’m reading on the Vinted subreddit is making me nervous because everyone seems to say that Vinted customer support is basically nonexistent. 😩
Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to get their original account back? Any tips would be VERY appreciated!

Return request denied . I won ! 🥳

I recently sold a brand-new dress on Poshmark. As I always do before shipping, I carefully inspected it, paying special attention to the zipper because the top part of the dress is made of very soft, delicate fabric. The zipper worked perfectly when I checked it, and everything looked fine.
I didn’t film myself inspecting or packing it because, honestly, I sold the dress for $25 and it was brand new. I’ve sold NWT items on Poshmark before and never had an issue with new stuff.
So, imagine my surprise when I received a notification that the buyer requested a return claiming the zipper was broken. 😳 There’s no way the zipper broke on its own after I shipped it. I explained that in my response, but I was almost 100% sure Poshmark would still approve the return because, in my experience, they almost always side with the buyer.
I was especially annoyed because getting the zipper repaired would probably cost more than $20. 🤦‍♀️
But to my surprise, Poshmark denied the return request and released the funds to me! 🙌 Honestly, I was not expecting that at all. I’ll take the win!
Just wanted to share my happiness with strangers online !

Martin crop pants sizing

Can someone solve this mystery for me , please?
I’ve been eyeing these cropped Martin pants for over a year, and I finally decided to buy them. I found two pairs on The RealReal, and both are labeled as size M (US 8 / EU 40), but the measurements are completely different.
One pair has a 9” rise, while the other has a 12” rise. The waist measurements are different too. The only visible difference in the photos is the color of the button.
I know Sézane’s sizing can be inconsistent across different styles, but this is the exact same pair of pants in the same fabric and the same labeled size, so I’m really puzzled by the huge difference in measurements.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows why this might happen? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Have you ever had a request like this?

Someone just asked if I would donate my dress because they’re trying to cut costs for their wedding. Is this a common pitch? If I couldn’t afford a $50 dress , I don’t think I would proceed with the wedding . Also the dress is blue with flowers so it doesn’t make a lot of sense
A little while ago, someone on eBay also asked me to donate a dress, saying they worked at a theater.
Has anyone else had similar requests, or is this becoming more common? What are your thoughts?

Am I overthinking here

Hello, this buyer asked for the dimensions of a skirt I’m selling. I uploaded a few pictures, then they asked me to confirm in writing that those are the dimensions. After that, they asked about the discoloration.
Maybe I’m overthinking, but I get the vibe that this buyer will complain if the length is 25 1/2 instead of 25 3/4 or something like that. The skirt is used and shows minor signs of wear, which I already addressed, but I’m afraid they’ll look for any reason to return it if there’s even the slightest imperfection. It’s a satin skirt that has a lot of sheen and I barely found that discoloration on natural light but , now I’m afraid they will see something I couldn’t catch.
I sell all my stuff cheap, around $10–15, just to get rid of it, and I really don’t want to deal with support, returns, or bad reviews over a $10 skirt. AI always sides with buyers, and I don’t want to go through that hassle. Am I overthinking?

First return ,need advice

Hi everyone, I just got my first return request. I have all 5-star ratings so far and around 50 sales . I sold a cardigan for $12 that had peeling and a pencil mark, both of which were disclosed in the listing. I listed the item as “satisfactory,” which is the lowest condition rating.

For some reason, I can’t find her comment anymore, but she said the item was “not as described” and looked worse in person. She also mentioned that it had hair on it. I washed it before shipping, and the pictures were taken maybe 3–4 days before it sold.

Do you guys think this was my error, or did she just have higher expectations? I allowed the return because I always do to avoid bad reviews, but the return shipping will cost as much as the sweater itself, so I think she may still leave a bad review no matter what. I don’t want to cover the shipping because I believe I disclosed all the issues and priced it according to the condition. What are your hot takes? Am I in wrong here ?

I need to rant

I love to shop clothes on Depop and vinted but I don’t understand why sellers won’t share measurements. I don’t usually ask for measurements for current brands I already know and shop from, and I don’t ask for measurements for tops , dresses or sweaters. But if I’m buying a vintage item or pants, I like to ask for waist or pit-to-pit measurements.

On Vinted, sometimes I just need clarification on whether something is a 4 or a 6 before I purchase, but sellers never reply. They’ll see my message, keep sending offers, and still ghost my questions. I don’t understand why. I’ve missed out on a few good items just because I was waiting for their reply.
Most of these sites don’t allow returns if something doesn’t fit, so I don’t see what’s wrong with asking for measurements. Am I unreasonable here ? I am also a seller and when people ask for measurements or have any additional questions about the fit , I try to do my best to give them as accurate description and dimensions as I can …

How shipping charges work on bundles ?

This buyer is complaining that the $9.99 shipping is too high. Both of my items are individually listed at 2 lbs with $7.97 shipping, so I’m not sure why the bundled shipping total is showing differently on their end. I don’t sell bundles ever, so I’m trying to figure out how the shipping is calculated when multiple items are combined.

I won’t be accepting the offer, though, since it’s too low for two like-new items that were only worn once. I am curious, however, to better understand how bundled shipping works for future sales.
