They should’ve turned around before getting sucked any deeper into whatever chaos Seattle had waiting for them. But now it’s too late, and Jesse’s gone.
This whole mess could’ve been avoided so easily. Tommy’s cool and all, but if he wants to throw himself into a revenge mission, that’s his choice. It’s not worth any of their lives. Ellie had her own reasons for coming here, separate from finding Tommy, and honestly those reasons weren’t exactly smart either. Joel was a great guy, everyone knows that, but I don’t think he’d want these kids risking their barely started lives just to avenge him.
And you know what's crazy I already knew Jesse was going to die the moment I found out Dina was pregnant and that Jesse had come along to help. He was never going to get to see that baby and it was so obvious too.
You’d think fungal super‑powered monsters would be this massive, world ending problem, but apparently they’re terrible at actually infecting people. I swear Joel and Ellie have racked up a higher body count than an entire horde of infected combined.
I’m playing The Last of Us Part II right now, about 24 hours in and I’m pretty sure Ellie alone has wiped out like 50 to 100 WLF soldiers. And that’s what really gets me, why are there so many soldiers in the first place. Isn’t this supposed to be the apocalypse? Why am I seeing more armed, organized people than actual infected. Half the infected can’t even see, and the rest are just chilling in abandoned buildings like they’re on break.
Makes me wonder what the actual global headcount is supposed to be at this point.
People get so wrapped up in her tragic backstory that they forget just how extreme her actions actually were.
The moment she learned the truth about Pink Diamond, she didn’t just run away from the garden, she broke into a Gem facility, stole an injector(and rejuvenator), figured out how to operate it, and piloted it all the way to Earth with the full intention of hurting Steven and anyone near him. She wasn’t just lashing out, she was ready to wipe out the entire planet as collateral damage for her pain. And honestly, given what she went through, her anger makes sense but that doesn’t make what she did any less terrifying.
I’d even argue that no other Gem in the entire history of the Empire has ever pulled something as drastic, personal, and catastrophic as what Spinel did. Her situation is sympathetic, but her actions were on a completely different level.
So if Steven was a little scared or uncomfortable around her, I definitely Wouldn't blame him.
Like Killingham didn't check on her or anything he just took a quick look and said "whatever".
But fr tho, What condition could Gunko (THE HOLY KNIGHT) be in for Killingham to think she was dead.
like whenever you say something bad about Brook I guarantee you the first thing out of somebody's mouth is “but in whole cake Island”, Yeah bro we know he was the MVP of that Arc But other than that he has never been the MVP of any other Arc he hasn't even come close. In fact most of the time Brook is just in the background doing some bullshit that's not helpful in the slightest but people glaze him because he's a cool afro skeleton swordsman guy with ice powers.
