Took Advice From A Lot Of You

I had made a post a while back about how my cohost was not doing his share of work when it came to our show. We run a silly horror themed podcast with some fun segments. Over the course of two years we switched to a video podcast, so my wife and I built a super cool creepy old cabin set, to serve as the backdrop of two guys talking horror in an actual horror themed cabin. Think Tucker and Dale vs Evil vibes.. in a video podcast format. I worked really hard on props, segments, editing style and he just wasn't chipping in. I couldn't even get him to share episodes or shorts, he would often seemingly sabotage any episode if I had picked the subject matter. Our podcast had sat still with more or less the same subs until I really started pushing shorts and other promo material, over the past 6 months or so the numbers have really started to move, however I still could not get him to help in any real meaningful way. So about two weeks ago, I let him know that I was going to continue the show, but I wasn't going to be doing it with him anymore. I feel really good about my decision, it's better for my mental health and my creativity... the only thing that sucks is essentially losing a friend I've had for a long time.

Walkin' in the rain..

Idk if you guys have seen the Wayne county life guy on YouTube but I took an audio snippet from one of his shorts and added it onto footage of my son and I walking in the rain lol. It's stupid, but it makes me laugh.

Promotion Issues With Cohost

My cohost and I are best friends, we've collaborated on our YouTube Channel for nearly 8 years and our podcast for around 5 years now. While he is my best friend and I love him to death, he flat out refuses to do any promotion. He's had reddit forever and I asked him to maybe post some our shorts is corresponding subreddits and he said no, he's more of a lurker. So I created a reddit and have been posting. I create shorts almost daily for use on IG, facebook and wherever else, which he also has profiles on. Maybe once every two or three months he shares one clip. It's really driving me nuts because I am the one who has the studio, all recording audio and video falls on me, all editing falls on me and apparently it seems as if all promotion falls on me. Just curious if any of you have to deal with cohosts who do the bare minimum as well. Sorry for such a long rant

I say it's goo... as in gore. My cohost says it's glue... I was unaware this was even a topic of contention. So help me out... even if you think I'm wrong lol

Is it just me? Looking at him irritates me lol. He was in a movie called Mikey and I hated him there too... the same with Jurassic Park. I'm sure he's a nice guy... I just hate his face.

Do you think the commercial would be an unskippable ad on a mobile game or on YouTube? The planet would be done for...

Is there truth to that? What a wild time back in the day with all of the Video Nasties stuff going on.

You're telling me Loomis hung up that chain net all by himself? What do you guys think? This has always been a bit silly to me.

This has always been something that made me laugh... the aftermath is ridiculous. You can't say this was s**cide... i need that coroner report lol! So I made this dumb short, which will forever make me laugh

We ask the tough questions lol, the stuff that gets one line in a screenplay that's totally glossed over. Hope it makes you laugh, if so... consider subbing!

We've always loved the sheriff. I think especially now that we are older and have kids of our own, he's even more admirable.

First photo I'm teetering 285lbs and 290lbs. 2nd photo 155lbs. This took around 2 years to make happen. My son got into muay thai, I used to train a lot before he was born... got comfortable, got heavy and way less active... we've had a hell of a 2 year run getting us both into shape. I have a long ways to go, but these pictures are a nice reminder of where I came from.
