Tapering too fast?

Hi y’all. Been on cymbalta since December 2025 so not very long.

Ramped up to 60mg, but at one point I missed my dose for three days when my meds ran out and I couldn’t get a refill despite frantically contacting my dr. I ended up having to go to the ER because my withdrawal symptoms got so bad.

after that I asked her to start tapering off because I was and am afraid of going through that again.

so we began, and i started weaning down to 40 by taking two twenties, i think for two weeks. didnt feel too bad during this time.

then to twenty mg for two weeks, still handling it okay.

then a final week of on and off the 20mg, for one week, then I stopped it entirely, that was this past Friday, it is now Thursday. So almost a week off it.

It was a rough week admittedly. Dizziness came in waves.

Saturday was okay. Monday got harder. Tuesday was starting to be rough, then I could not sleep at all and the lack of rest made it so much worse. I woke up with a bad headache. So then it’s Wednesday, & I started feeling so dizzy I couldn’t barely move.

By the end of the day I had to do a virtual urgent care visit to beg for some kind of symptom relief. They prescribed me 12.5mg of meclezine. It’s helping some, but maybe like 25% reduction of dizziness. Not a lot of help.

Now it is Thursday and I slept most of the day, still can’t really move and even when sitting still, i am so dizzy. I’ve gotten bran zaps since Monday. Headaches. Fatigue and overheating, but shaking from chills. No appetite. Even daily persistent diarrhea sorry for the tmi. So its making me more dehydrated.

I messaged my dr yesterday to report discontinuation syndrome, and again today to let her know I had to go to the urgent care. I still have not heard back.

I’ve already taken two meclizine today, am only supposed to take three a day max according to the bottle instructions. I was taking zofran and it didnt help so i switched to this since i know ur not supposed to take both at the same time.

I took Tylenol and Ibuprofen too and it helped a tiny bit too. Someone on the other cymbalta reddit said I am likely tapering off too soon, I learned about the microdosing and bead counting, as well as taking prozac/fluoexetine to help bc of the longer half life, and none of that was mentioned to me by the dr…

Since tmrw is Friday I probably won’t hear from her till Monday at the earliest. Not sure what to do, how long to expect to be out of commission. I’m missing work, losing out on income, and I’m so worried.

LG washer wont drain.

Code: OE.

Has smart diagnosis but the LG app wants it to connect to wifi which it does not seem to…

Stopped draining after the movers brought it back after storing it during our apt renovation.

None of the settings gets it to drain.

After it sat for 3 months unused I turned it back on yesterday on spin only, & it drained - seemingly a miracle? Because after running it on tub clean it is back to not draining, have tried running spin only it wont drain.

I can’t even find any videos or tips online about what to do for this specific model which doesn’t seem to have a manual box to open and remove any potential clogs - but since it randomly chose to drain just fine today then stopped draining again… i feel like its some technical error?

Help ): the movers refuse to help at all.

so sick after tapering

Been on cymbalta since Dec 2025

Side effects from missing even one day’s dose were so intense for me. Dizziness, vertigo, nausea, brain zaps.

One time I ran out, my dr was not responding and I could not get an emergency refill. By day 3 it was so bad I was even having mood swings, curled into a ball and sobbing uncontrollably, I could barely move. My partner had to take me to the ER.

At first the ER ignored me after triage cleared me of urgency, but eventually I guess my sobbing and shaking convinced the dr to bring me back and get me connected to fluids and meds. Something for the dizziness and to calm me down. It helped immensely. I kept apologizing and thanking them. I have never experienced such horrific withdrawals.

After that I asked my dr to please taper me off. I followed her instructions and slowly we went down. From 60, to 40 then 20 where for the forty i took two twenties. Then last week I began taking the 20 on and off until I was out of meds, so about 7 days.

I was officially out on Friday, happy to be done, but I expected / expect the week after to be hell.

It is now the early hours of Wednesday and I feel so sick. Not as bad as when I ran out while on 60… but Monday night I had brain zaps and tonight no zaps but so much dizziness and motion sickness even though I am laying still.

When I get up even just to walk to the bathroom I am so woozy.

Unfortunately I only have zofran so nothing for the vertigo/dizziness. I am staying hydrated but I am still so woozy. I can’t sleep.

Any advice for the wooziness? How long should I expect to feel this way? It’s been about four days of being off the meds now.

If its relevant at all I also take adderall and guanfacine, as well as symbicort for asthma. I do also have PVC’s and an a-fib. I am supposed to see the cardiologist tomorrow for a stress test and to get my haltor monitor and I don’t know if I should mention the withdrawal side effects or if it will affect anything.

Thanks.

Roche met at Hideout, No Quests

Met with Roche at the hideout cave, Ves interrupted upset, but still the only quest offered was for the gwent card.

Nothing after, and I can’t find her in the cave.

Not sure why I can’t trigger the Eye for an Eye quest? What prereq’s could I be missing and/or have missed?

Haven’t take Triss to the ball yet - did Djikstra’s vault quest line - haven’t found Dandelion yet - beat the gwent tourney already - no quests failed yet either.

Bike Harassment >:(

I ride an e-bike to and from work everyday. It’s my only form of transportation. At least a few times per week, someone decides to be a jerk and harass me for it.

Today, this SUV ran up behind me, guess didn’t see me in time, then swerved from behind me and honked loud asf at me. Mind u i was literally just actively biking forward and doing nothing I shouldn’t be.

It scared the shit out of me, & I have PTSD & sensory issues. Not even 2 minutes before, this guy in a gold pickup yelled at me from out of his window to “get off the road.”

This shit is insane… Not everyone can afford a big ass SUV, nor wants to contribute to pollution in their daily commute…

Woodrow Lane in South Denton around 2pm.
(was in left lane because i was turning. yes i used my signal.)

Idiot Tries Working Call Center - Calls Dropping (HELP)

I work from home for a call center. But when it comes to tech, I am a total idiot and nothing makes sense.
I log into the system website, pull up the web interface, and all I have to do is click the button with the contact's phone number. Then the system asks permission to use my microphone, I allow, and the call begins and rings, connects. Customer/client hears me, I hear them. Voila.

Except - every few calls, I click the button with the contact's phone number, the call timer starts, but, I can't hear anything. The line is just silent. If I hang up and try again, sometimes it immediately works fine and the call goes through - but sometimes I have to hang up and call it a 3rd, 4th or even 5th time for it to connect.

My boss however, informed me that she can hear the call on her end, and that no one else is reporting having any issues with this. So it would appear it is an issue on my end.

I'm trying everything I can think of but I don't know what I should be doing to fix this.

So these are the steps I have taken to try and investigate this:

I've tried multiple different headsets, and even tried using no headset, and the issue persists.
We are supposed to use a headset with a boom mic, no bluetooth, it must be wired to our device. Just to test my issue against all variables, I have also tried with a bluetooth headset, a wired headset with an in-line mic on the cable, and a regular call center style headset with its wired cable and boom mic. No difference btwn devices; issue persists.

I've tried with and without ethernet cable; I've tried sitting right next to the router; I've even gone to a friends place and tried both Wi-Fi and ethernet with their system. The issue persists. I've tried a couple different ethernet cables as well, both bought new.

I tried clearing my browser cache. We are instructed to only use Chrome. Even on internet explorer or Brave browser, the issue persists.

I've ran internet speed tests, and my wired, ethernet connection is strong; 498 upload speeds, 275 download speeds, latency 2ms across both devices when connected to ethernet.
I tried a packet loss test geared towards VOIP; 0% packet loss, 0% late packets on both devices.

I've tried all of the above on two different devices; my laptop and my iPad Pro. On my laptop, a Samsung Notebook 7 Spin, I have Average Latency: 42.74ms Average Jitter: 1.10ms. packetstats . com says I have 47min, 314max, avg 64.5 ping, stability: bad (the # in the parantheses changes constantly.) No idea what this means.

On my iPad Pro, I get similar results for upload/download speeds, latency, jitter, etc.
The issue persists both on my iPad Pro and on my Samsung laptop, at my home and the friends home where I tried using their internet. I've not tried to log in one anyone elses device to see if the issue still persists with the platform there as well.

The only other thing I can think of is that sometimes I have dead spots in my apartment, where even normal phone calls cut out, for myself and my guests. Perhaps this is related?

I really like this job, it pays well, my supervisors are fantastic teachers. I am desperate to fix this issue asap. Thank you for any help.

Packages Returned/Refused?

Hi yall. I live at an apartment complex. My packages are arriving and then being “refused,” then returned to sender. Multiple times now.

I don’t even know what they mean by “refused,” since I was not home… I guess that’s what it’s referring to? But it wasn’t a “signature required” package. Why didn’t they leave it at the door? I’m pretty sure it went to the mail box though, not the door. So how was it refused by my mail box..

I used to just get a card in the mail box or at the door, stating that it wouldn’t fit or no one was home or whatever, and that they’d take it back to the mail office for me to pickup instead.

Why is it now, just straight up returning to sender instead of being held at the post? What can I do to address this? I’m out the money I spent on shipping fees and am frustrated because some of the packages took long to get here.

My package was small, envelope sized, and would fit in the box, by the way.

The sites don’t tell you if it’ll be held or returned or whatever. So I don’t quite know how to go about addressing this. Call the post office and ask?

I have also, three times now, opened my mail box to see a “vacant; new resident put name” card in it, even though I check at least once or twice a month when I’m not expecting anything. Why check more often when it’s just a bunk of junk mail to recycle? Is that not often enough, hence why the post man keeps just tossing a vacant card in there? The apartment office says they have nothing to do with it.

I’m not savvy when it comes to mail. Any help is appreciated. I know the nature of reddit though so roast me at your will and call me whatever names makes you giggle to yourself.
