At last he is mine! I think he finally took pity on me lol. I spent a bit of time prefarming for him, and I've still been farming pulls for him despite literally getting my wisdom teeth out today. Now I have something interesting to do while I'm resting! Next up is getting my Cerydra to E1 for him.
As you can see here on the picture, my top taskbar by my computer's clock is a bit wonky. There's some double icons and more transparent icons where there shouldn't be. This happened immediately after I finished updating to the latest operating system. Already tried restarting again; it didn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello! With the recent downgrades to all the models, I've been revisiting bots that were well-written in hopes that they can work better. I've been trying to find one in particular, and I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME remember the name of the character. Pretty sure it's been made private or smth, because I can't find it in the liked list of either of my accounts. I remember it had a lot of chats, so maybe someone will remember.
As I said, no clue what the name is, but I remember that it had something to do with the stars or sun. The bot was some sort of star prince with a star mark on the back of one of his hands that glowed in accordance to his emotions, and had abducted the user to marry him. The intro was him leading the user through a festival being held in their honor, and one of the plot points was that he refused to touch anyone. I believe it was because his father mistreated him and he was traumatized. The profile picture looked pretty feminine, and had curly gold hair with some sort of crown. Hopefully that's a good enough description?
If anyone remembers the name or has a link, please let me know. Even if it was deleted, I'm just trying to remember the name. It's really bugging me that I don't remember. T-T
TLDR: Mariot staff were stupid, fucked up, and wasted probably an hour or more of my time.
My one goal for today was to get Joshua Waters's signature. I planned to get there way in advance so I could get out of the con at a reasonable time. I arrived to the Mariot at 2:30 for the 4:00 signing session so I could be one of the first people and have time to get Paul Castro Junior's signature for my sister. I was one of the first few people there for the 4:00 signing.
Turns out the staff was fucking stupid. A lot of he people that had been waiting for hours were misinformed, forced to go outside, and no one knew what to do with them. I was one of said people. When they FINALLY let us in, the line was ALREADY FULL because they didn't clear anyone out of the area, they delayed things, and a lot of the 3:30 people were in the 4:00 lines. I was supposed to be heading out of the convention at 5:10, but I ended up just getting the autograph at 5:40 and not having time to get the other autograph.
I'm still pissed that I wasted basically my entire day for the staff to fuck up monumentally. A lot of the people in the front of the line had been waiting inside the building, which is what we were EXPLICITLY told not to do. I was planning on getting Alejandro Saab's signature on Sunday, but at this point, I may just wait for him to come to a different convention.
If they hadn't misinformed me and at least a dozen other people, we could have saved two hours. We got to the panel incredibly early, and they knew we were there, yet we still ended up at the back of the line.
Anyway, I'm just annoyed because I feel like they wasted so much of my time. I gave up on panels I wanted to see in order to wait ahead of time, and I had to delay all my train rides to be able to accomplish the only thing I actually cared about doing for the whole day. I don't know how the signings normally work, but this was absolutely not it.
Sorry for the long rant, but I needed to get this off my chest. This is my first ever big con, and it was super stressful and disappointing to have this happen to me today.
On a positive note, though, Joshua Waters is such a wonderful, friendly person! I would definitely recommend meeting him. I'd say it was still worth it in the end, but so much time could have been saved if people actually knew what they were doing.

Am I losing it, or did the gold fish spawn rate get decreased? I swear there used to be at least one almost every adopt me day. I've been grinding for a few hours now, and it's been taking several in game days for even one to spawn. It's so frustrating, because I'm close to another tealwood monster.

A good friend of mine has fallen for this guy in our theater group. I'm 99% sure that he likes her, but she's planning to confess and is super stressed out about it. I will ask that no one make this weird since we are all minors (i will not disclose their ages bc online safety). I've worked with her to compile a mostly chronological list of all their interactions to date, basically containing anything important, and I'll let you all be the judges. This is as accurate as we can get it based on what she and her siblings remember. This all happened over the course of approximately two months with 1-2 rehearsals per week.

Starting on the day before auditions, during the audition workshop, Lex initiated brief conversation, they got each others' names, and that was about it. on the day of the first rehearsal, he came late, and he playfully scared her from behind before saying hello and practicing with her for the rest of rehearsal. Kaylee was a bit shy the next few times, though, since Lex hung out with other male leads while she was just in the ensemble. However, one day, when her group of ensemble and leads went backstage to practice harmonies, Lex basically invited her to sit in the open seat next to him. He said that he was fine with her hanging around him and was kind of hoping she'd sit there. They chatted and played solitaire for the duration of their time backstage. Kaylee later realized that he'd basically invited her to sit with him even before they went backstage, but she didn't realize because she thought he was being goofy. Basically he showed her his cards, told her they were for 'when time allowed', repeated that when she tried to ask a question about the game, and disappeared behind a stack of chairs.
At this point, her main concern was whether or not he liked another girl, since she'd seen another girl about his age sitting next to him and lying on his shoulder at another rehearsal. Kaylee was friends with this girl, Jasmine, though Jasmine usually went to spend time with a different group. Notably, she’d heard Lex use a very gentle tone of voice with Jasmine that he hadn’t used for anyone else that she knew of.
Regardless of that, at the next rehearsal after playing solitaire, Lex joined Kaylee’s friend group. Everyone welcomed him, and he was thrilled to have more friends. He’d confided in Kaylee that she was one of the only people he knew, and he was happy to make new friends. She did notice, however, him talking to her younger siblings more than her. They were all too young to be romantic interests, of course. A few things of note happened at this rehearsal. First, in the very beginning, Jasmine had playfully stollen Lex’s script. When Kaylee went to get it back, Lex said that it was fine, and jokingly stated that he loved when people took his stuff. He offered her his backpack to ‘steal’, which she did briefly. Jasmine later left the group to do her own thing. The topic of Lex’s younger brother did eventually come up, and he spoke of how smart his younger brother was. He told the group that he sometimes felt overshadowed by his little brother, and Kaylee noticed that he sounded a bit more sad. Secondly, about halfway through rehearsal, Lex had complained that his legs and feet hurt from the different sitting positions on the ground, so Kaylee suggested he lay down. Lex agreed, they playfully flopped onto her for a moment. The third and final thing was at the end of rehearsal, when they were saying goodbye. Kaylee gave Lex an air hug from a bit over a foot away to say goodbye, and in return, Lex opened his arms for an actual hug. They shared one briefly, after which time Kaylee asked to make sure he was fine with it. Lex said that he was the type of person who was totally fine with hugs, and that he’d gladly take one whenever.
The next rehearsals, various things happened. Kaylee started giving him goodbye hugs, though she was generally the one who initiated. One of her younger siblings found an opening to ask Lex if he was single. He replied that yes he was, though he presently had a crush. When Kaylee subtly asked ‘hm’, to see if she heard him right, he did not repeat the statement, but he might not have heard her. The group stayed together, and Lex’s friends joined it too. Since Lex was by far the tallest out of everyone, it became a game for her siblings to see if they could be as tall as him. Once they started staging different scenes on the set, they were moved to different platforms for different things. When Kaylee was given a higher platform, she joked about how she was finally taller than lex, though he didn’t acknowledge it much. However, on a different day, she also got moved to a higher platform, along with Jasmine, for a song when her, Jasmine, and lex were all dancing together previously. She was privately disappointed by this. However, once she got to the top platform, Lex joked about how she was taller than him again. Additionally, while they waited offstage to start the scene, he peeked in the doorway to the stairwell leading to her platform to wave hello and tease her a bit. The only other thing of note that happened on these days was Kaylee complimenting his silly socks at one point. After that, on several subsequent rehearsals, he showed her the other neat pairs of socks he’d worn. He had also brought her his script at one point during their downtime and had her read some lines with him, to drill him on his parts.
Finally, Kaylee decided to work up the courage to ask him for his number, and planned to do it at the end of rehearsal. The next week would be an all-cast breakfast and the last all-cast rehearsal before casts split. Thankfully, the two shared the same cast, a fact that Lex had been happy with. She didn’t have much opportunity during the rehearsal to do it, so things progressed as normal. She was a little worried at the end giving him a goodbye hug, since she wasn’t sure if her always initiating bothered him. When she started standing up to leave, though, the rehearsal director called for everyone to briefly freeze so he could make a final announcement. To playfully keep her from getting up, Lex trapped Kaylee’s hand under his. After thinking for a moment, she swapped the positions of their hands, and eventually both of them used both hands to make alternating stacks. They played at this for a few seconds before just stopping, leaving their hands there for a short time before separating. After that, she asked for his number, which he gave her without problem. On the way out, her younger siblings had started to play tag, and Lex scared her from behind while tagging her. Kaylee and Lex mainly chased each other, not really focusing much on the others. However, they didn’t end up texting each other before the cast breakfast, since up to this point they never really got to talk about anything other than theatre.
That finally brings us to the cast breakfast, the last time Kaylee had seen Lex recently. She noticed that he got a haircut, and she remarked that it looked nice, which he playfully bragged about to her siblings. Lex had also brought his older brother, Bax, with him. Their friend group gathered together to wait in line for breakfast. Here, Kaylee learned one thing of utmost importance. Jasmine knew Lex because she was the older sister of one of Lex’s best guy friends at the theater! That is why they’d been sitting together early on, when Kaylee had been too shy to approach again.
Once they got back to their table, they began playing a game called Mafia, which functioned like Among Us, with Lex running the story. Kaylee was annoyed to find out that she’d been the first person killed in the round, and she later found out that the mafia for that round was Bax. When she’d been killed, Lex had, according to her siblings, asked, ‘you’d really kill such a pretty face?’ In a joking manner. The game continued normally, though it became a running gag for Kaylee to always be the first one killed. After the third time, annoyed, she playfully complained about how everyone was being so mean to her. It was very clear by her tone and laughter that she was messing around, and she went to playfully stand up and step back from the table, despite not actually being that mad. Lex, who had been near her chair at the time, however, stopped her. He pulled her into a hug, which she reciprocated, and gently apologized that she kept getting killed. Most notably, he used the extremely gentle tone that she’d only heard him direct at Jasmine on that one occasion. She obviously rejoined the game on the next round, and nothing of note happened until the actual rehearsal started.
At the beginning of rehearsal, everyone was still enthusiastic about the game of mafia, and they played a few quiet games while things started to kick off. It started with bubble gum, then transitioned into the sentence game. As the sentence game progressed, it eventually led to just Kaylee and Lex in the running. The previous round had been quite amusing, so Kaylee was still laughing, so the string of words ended up catching her off guard. Lex started with ‘do’, she continued with ‘you’, then got extremely thrown off when the word he picked was ‘love’. After freezing up for a moment, she jokingly said ‘me’, before quickly clarifying that she was joking. This caused her to lose focus and not pay attention to what he was doing, losing her the game. He did not, however, mention what she’d said again. At this point, another thing was slowly becoming apparent. A younger child named Iso, who was a friend of Kaylee’s younger brother, had been sitting with them, and began messing around with Lex. It started off fun, with Iso and Jake, Kaylee’s brother, copying Lex’s movements, though Lex eventually moved away from them, and Kaylee noticed that he looked a bit awkward. They then began running scenes, and only sat down again after a bit. While sitting, Lex was playfully remaining in a stretching position with his arms in front of him, so Kaylee copied him and asked playfully, ‘what are we doing?’. He didn’t respond verbally, but he moved their hands closer, so they were basically holding hands, and they remained like that for a short while.
Neither mentioned it, and as they went back to drilling scenes, everything was normal. However, during an interim period, Iso continued to mess with Lex, and one of Kaylee’s friends playfully swiped his glasses. At this point, Kaylee could tell he was getting a bit uncomfortable, since none of them really knew lex and swiping someone’s glasses isn’t something you should do. So, once they sat down for final announcements, Kaylee put herself between Lex and Iso, and managed to keep the younger boy from messing with her friend. Lex thanked her, confiding that it was getting a bit uncomfortable, since he didn’t know Iso but Iso seemed to know him. She told him that it was no problem, and that her and her siblings were there to help. She continued to fend off Iso, happy to help spare him the discomfort, until they were dismissed. That time, as they said goodbye, he was the one to initiate the goodbye hug after giving one to her little brother. As of today, they still haven’t texted each other.
Two events that she added after I finished writing this mountain of text and I am too lazy to add in:
Chronologically, these things happen before the breakfast, and in the order I list them. For the first one, it's important to know that the play they are doing is Seusical, which means Lex's lead is Horton the Elephant. Kaylee decided to sculpt a Horton in her ceramics class, which Lex expressed interest in seeing when she mentioned it. When she brought it to show him, he found the sculpture adorable and seemed to really like it. When Kaylee mentioned that she hadn't really known what else to make that day, he asked, "so you decided to make me?", to which Kaylee replied yes. Shortly after that, he thanked her for showing him, and used that gentle tone of voice, though not quite as gentle as during mafia later on.
Secondly, Kaylee eventually got assigned an additional role in the Circus McGurkus scene as the dog trainer. Lex was thrilled that she had another role, and seemed happy when her siblings got roles in the circus too. Notably, however, after learning she was the dog trainer, he playfully kneeled down (they were sitting already) and went woof, basically pretending to be a dog. This bit was brief, but I find it to be really funny so I had to include it. I witnessed this one firsthand and it was glorious.
As you can see, I have QUITE a basis to believe that he likes her, but she still isn't convinced. If you managed to read this far, congratulations lol and thank you for taking your precious time to help my friend. Please help me calm her down, she is stressing so hard. She's going to confess this Saturday and if anyone cares I'll update then about how it goes. I'm super excited for her because I'm almost positive it'll work.
I just got THE MOST INSANE Currency Wars run! I'm a fairly new player (joined for the free character 2 patches ago), so I was farming to complete the Bond Link quests. I was going basic with Stelleron Hunters and the IPC bonds, so I was building Silver Wolf 999 as my DPS. It started out really standard, and my investment strategies weren't even that good, though I forgot to screenshot them at the end. I leveled up pretty high and got Silver Wolf to 5 star rarity, then figured that would be it... AND THEN I GOT OWLBERT!!
This isn't even the first time I've gotten him! In my two months of intermittent playing, I have gotten Owlbert TWICE! I didn't even know that he was rare the first time! So naturally I started upgrading my characters. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT SILVER WOLF DID!!! I was in shock when I 3 starred her. Never in my life have I seen so much equipment. Definitely better than 3 star Cyrene imo.
Sadly, I messed up a bit in the very end. I wanted to see how much damage she could do, but I happened to be farming at a relatively low difficulty, and I didn't realize how strong Firefly would be. Even using Silver Wolf's hacks to set the final boss HP to 1000%, Firefly killed it way to fast.
10/10, would recommend. Giving you all my luck so everyone can experience the glories of Owlbert and SW 999!

Hi! I'm a player that just started playing about two patches ago. I really like Archer, and I know that a new colab banner will be coming soon, meaning he'll be gone forever. I've almost gotten a copy of him (currently 75 pity guaranteed), but I'm wondering if trying to get his E1 before he leaves is worth it. My main problem is that Phainon will be running next patch, and I'm planning on getting him since i have all of his team minus Sunday. What should I do?
For my final project this school year, I am working on a multigenra piece about identity. I won't go into the specifics of what exactly I will be discussing in this paper, since that is irrelevant to this sub, but I am using Lyney and his story as a large part of my project. While I research the other aspects of my topic more, I would love to hear all of your takes on Lyney! What is his relationship with identity? How has he changed it, and how has it changed him? What aspects of his story resonate with you the most?

Edit for clarity: By identity, I mean along the lines of who he actually is, versus how he presents himself in front of others, and how external pressure has shaped how he presents himself and how others perceive him. Someone gave me a super interesting analysis of Lyney's possible relationship with gender identity too, so I'm open to that interpretation too!
