How I would rewrite 1957's The Curse of Frankenstein

Now, I won't be rewriting the whole film cause that's not my issue and I don't have the time. But the movie kinda lost me after Victor and Paul's tussle for Bernstein's brain. These are just my suggestions.

Paul damages Bernstein's brain beyond repair. Victor knowing Paul was the one to educate him since childhood and his stance of creating the monster decides to change his mind on the matter, literally, by using his brain for the monster. Victor kills Paul, takes his brain and the monster is alive!

Similar to the ending the monster goes berserk. Victor shoots Elizabeth trying to shoot the monster, fatally this time. And the monster is engulfed in flames and burns down the house. Victor loses everything. Victor's ego being what led to his downfall is great, I just wish they fully committed cause there were still six more films after that one.

If you have any suggestions or criticisms please let me know.❤️

IJW: Nosferatu [1922] & Detour [1945]

I recently found out about a new horror host named"Ghoulthazar"and this was one of the films he was showing. I honestly liked this a lot more than expected! The last silent film I saw was 1925's The Wizard of Oz, which I didn't really like for me finding it just generally boring along with its racist imagery. And while Nosferatu does unfortunately share some of those grievances with things kinda dragging especially in the 4th act and Nosferatu himself being rooted in hatred towards Jewish people. I do have to admit I like this movie a lot better. Nothing about Nosferatu is subtle straight up telling Hutter his wife has a good looking neck. Which does sell the evil of him. And Hutter losing Ellen in the end was the saddest!

As for Detour, it was a pretty decent movie, but it does have its flaws. I honestly wish more of it was told through actual dialogue instead of narration. Legit it felt like we would get a minute of dialogue between two characters and then double the amount of narration. Speaking of which, Al leaves me conflicted. Cause he's so self deprecating it leaves me like"Damn man, I'm starting to not like you." But with being at risk of being falsely accused of murder I guess he has a good reason to lol. Vera runs laps around him. This came out during the era of the hays code and I honestly think it suffered because of it. I thought Al was going to cheat with Vera but no! While cheating is never good, it would have added complexity. As well as I believe Al just walking off instead of getting into the cop car would have been better. Overall not bad but not fantastic.

I highly recommend this watch and Ghoulthazar's YouTube channel!

Can this be how Sentai will appear back on streaming?

So I know we are all screaming, crying throwing up over Hasbro fucking us over with Sentai. But I feel like I thought of a way for these streaming services to fix this issue.

So from my understanding. Hasbro has the rights for international distribution of Sentai. So Hasbro gave the rights to Shout TV and they put it on streaming services like Tubi, Pluto TV, Sling, etc. So what I'm thinking is that can't these streaming services just cut out the middle man and some how to obtain the rights from Hasbro directly?

If I am wrong about any information please correct me. But honestly, while I don't think this will happen. I am hoping they prove me wrong somehow some way. I mean if Tubi is in the process of putting golden age Cartoon Network shows on its platform, then what's stopping them from doing it with Sentai? I don't know, just a thought.🤷

1942's Invisible Agent

Svengoolie showing a movie where one of the main plot points is beating the shit out of Nazis on the Fourth is a bold move, have to give them credit. But aside from that, this was very ok. Not good, not bad, just ok. Maybe it's recency bias from seeing the original 1933 movie. But the concept of the invisible man beating the shit out of Nazis is fun. And while I don't think it was executed poorly, it's simply not for me. I wish we saw Frank go more bat shit. I understand that Frank doesn't have to be a complete copy of Jack, and I think he did well with the scenes where he got to be a bit violent. But isn't the formula supposed to effect your behavior? I just feel like that was the one thing this movie was missing. Overall like I said. Not good, not bad, just ok. I miss Jacky poo.

IJW: The Invisible Man [1933]

Move over John Cena, there's a new guy who we can't see! Stupid joke aside, where do I even start?! This is my pre game for The Invisible agent on Svengoolie and it was so good! Seeing Griffin just fucking terrorizing everyone was so entertaining. My favorite was in the beginning when he beat the shit out of the country bumpkins in the Lion Head Inn. Also since his clothes are still visible, when he's out terrorizing everyone, that means he's out there butt ass naked. And in the snow?! Honestly, he's a king for that. He's confidence makes me think I can run out in the snow butt ass naked lol. One thing to note is that after Griffin killed Kemp I thought it would get boring afterwards, but no! When the police finally took him down I was honestly a little sad. But that's thing, this was really just a one man show, Kemp and Flora are cool too. But while Griffin is an asshole and only realizes he was in the wrong after he's close to dying. It was fun to his high, I love that asshole! This was great!

My review of 1933's The Invisible Man(The Invisible Agent's pre game)

Move over John Cena, there's a new guy who we can't see! Stupid joke aside, where do I even start?! This is my pre game for The Invisible Agent tomorrow and it was so good! Seeing Griffin just terrorizing everyone was so entertaining. My favorite was in the beginning when he beat up the country bumpkins in the Lion Heart. Also since his clothes are still visible, when he's out terrorizing everyone, that means he's out there naked. And in the snow?! Honestly, he's a king for that. He's confidence makes me think I can run out in the snow naked lol. One thing to note is that after Griffin killed Kemp I thought it would get boring afterwards, but no! When the police finally took him down I was honestly a little sad. But that's thing, this was really just a one man show, Kemp and Flora are cool too. But while Griffin is a bad person and only realizes he was in the wrong after he's close to dying. It was fun to his high, I love that dude! This was a great watch!

Rate my taste(GG ONLY)

My two qualifications for this was that I've had to decently know the group and know at least one full song. Do you agree or think I should burn in hell?

An uncomfortable scene in Dairanger: The Movie

So I recently watched Dairanger's movie and honestly, I did not like it. However, there's this one scene in the movie that makes me really uncomfortable. The villain, the Duke of Cards in his human form turns a bunch of children into playing cards, or kids wearing playing card costumes. And he has all the kids lay on the ground and he tries to guess what the card is. He gets upset at one point he sits one of the children. And on an area of the child character that the actor who's a fully grown man should not be on if you know what I mean.

I know some people will say I'm the one making it weird or am looking too far into it. But at the same time, an adult should not be on a child like that. And am not trying to accuse the actor of being a creep either. As far as we know he was only just doing his job. If you dare to see what I'm talking about the movie is available on cat site. But yeah, wtf!

Can y'all stop being weird about Katseye?

Post Manon's"hiatus" The fandom absolutely fell apart. Keeping it short and sweet. If you're upset about the Manon situation, you are valid! But what isn't is sending hate to the other five members, acting like Manon was the only valuable member. If you choose to still support Katseye ot5, that's your choice. But don't send hate to Manon, calling her lazy. It can be that hard, right?!

My current Sentai ranking.

I literally finished Kakuranger today. I was low-key eager to finish it with Sentai being taken down from a lot of steaming services. But overall I liked it. That finally was awesome!! So, do you agree or think I should burn in hell?

Sentai disappearing from streaming services.

So first Sentai gets removed from Tubi, then Shout TV. It's essentially disappearing everywhere. From everything I've heard apparently this is not only because of Toei's contact with these platforms expiring, which while still upsetting is more understandable. It's also because Hasbro blocking Sentai from being streamed in other parts of the world, at least legally. The fact that this mess is partly because of a company that is barely doing anything with its brother franchise is extremely frustrating. Especially with Sentai being cancelled/on hiatus. And I know not everyone can afford to buy the physical media, while they are still available since they are still being made by Shout. I'm not trying to throw shade at power rangers but wtf Hasbro?!

Sentai is gone from Shout TV!

When Sentai got removed from Tubi I got a few suggestions to try out Shout TV. And now look at this shit! This is starting to get quite irritating! If you're wondering, other platforms to stream Sentai are Pluto TV and Sling. However, while I don't want to jinx it. I will say to cherish it cause we don't if Sentai will be removed from those platforms as well.

Itzy's"Downfall"

I love Itzy, they are the group that got me into Kpop. So it's extremely upsetting that the only time people talk about them is about their"Downfall" The group is currently touring, preparing for a fan meeting, their most recent comeback is currently sitting at #12 on the Billboard world chart, it has sold over 400,000 copies and six year old B-sides went viral earlier this year. If that classifies as a group's downfall then many other groups are having their just as bad if not worse downfalls.

I understand that Itzy's title as"4th Gen Leaders"isn't really a thing anymore which is where most of this snark is coming from. But Itzy has been in the industry for years and are sort of JYP veterans like Twice and Stray Kids. What do those three groups have in common other than being under the same company? They have big, stable and solid fan bases that were built over the course of several years. Just because you don't hear their song every five minutes doesn't mean it's not successful, their fan base is too busy streaming to hear your noise.

So yeah, until something happens I better see"Itzy"and"Downfall"kept light years apart.

My first album!

So I never dropped money on an album either cause I just preferred to stream the music or was just broke. But when I saw this, I had to have it! I didn't want the standard photo book album cause I didn't want it just sitting on a shelf collecting dust. So I got Itzy's cake coffin clicker so I could get some uses out of it. I either wanted Yeji, Lia or Yuna's cause I liked the blue color on theirs but I'm happy with Ryujin's. And if you're wondering, here's my photo cards. I'm not huge on photo cards but they're cute. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. And I have my eyes on Nmixx's Blue Valentine token album next!

Is there a fifth Gavan

Remember when Kunai told us about the five ninja emotions back in episode 10? If Infinity is anger, Bushido is sadness, Luminous is joy, Raiya is fear. Then who the hell is pleasure?!

I know there were images of a brown Gavan that I didn't get a good look at. Or maybe Patran is going to be pleasure, even though I think a better emotion for him would be selfishness. Maybe there's something I don't know about but there's only a few episodes left and if they introduce the pleasure gavan now I think that would be a dumb move.

Daniela and Manon

Ok so, I honestly checked out of not only the Manon"hiatus"situation but Katseye in general. But I've been seeing a bunch of people pissing crying throwing up about this aspect of the situation and I wanted to add my two cents.

So with Manon out I've seen a lot of people jumping on Daniela. How and why? I believe it's a combination of Daniela getting most of Manon's parts in the Pinky Up MV according to the leaked storyboard. Along with the things Daniela's dad said earlier when this mess first started. Which for the latter I do get, that man should've kept his mouth shut. For the former, I understand they had to replace her with someone but that combined with the center time that was planned from the start is just a recipe for backlash. Which leads me to my next point.

People started nit picking everything Daniela does as her replacing Manon. For example, I saw a video comparing Daniela screaming"NEW YORK!!"at a concert to Manon screaming"MINNESOTA!!" What did you expect her to do? Pause the set so Daniela can facetime Manon for the scream?! Honestly, I get why everybody is upset, but at the same time you guys need to chill. Has Hybe been pushing Daniela hard post Manon exist? Yes. And it's quite frustrating. But at the same time the key word is"Hybe" They're the ones causing this bullshit. Shocking, I know.🙄

Like in most companies, the members don't have a choice on most things, including who is front and center. And obviously Daniela is one of the most popular and talented members. So putting her front and center doesn't sound so bad on paper. But because of the Manon situation, people are putting everything the members do under a microscope. Analyzing everything as a clue of Manon's status in the group or the other members' feelings towards her. And I understand with one member down the other five have to cover for her in one way or another, including Daniela. But still, her being a cover along with center time, especially in the Pinky Up era. The reaction is upsetting but not surprising.

Both the people who are mad at Daniela and the people defending her both need to chill. Cause at the end of the day, it's all Hybe's fault.

My favorite Svengoolie showings from each month.

Now that we're halfway through the year. I want to share my favorite Svengoolie showings from each month.

January - King Kong vs Godzilla: I honestly wasn't a big fan of Destroy All Monsters. And as someone trying dipping their toes into the Godzilla franchise. This is my favorite movie from it so far. The stands out were Ichirō Arishima's performance. As well as the suits, while ugly as heck! The suit actors did a great job and Godzilla and Kong's final fight was my favorite scene! I also liked seeing Kong strangle while he's being carried. He really said"Let me go so I can catch my fade!"

February - The War of the Worlds: I learned about the radio version of the story in college so I'm glad I got to watch this. There's a lot of technical talk and it lost my attention at some points. But visually it's stunning. Everything is black with accents of red, blue and green. And the effects for the most part still hold up.

March - Friday the 13th: While some of the deaths feeling a bit half-assed like with Brenda's and Steve's, I really enjoyed this showing. "Ki-ki-ki-ki Ma-ma-ma-ma"was a new vocal stim for me for a while. And the ending with Jason caught me so off guard in the best way! I also find it funny that this whole situation could have been avoided if someone said to Voorhees"Sorry to hear about your son"

April - How to Make a Monster: I will die on the hill that this movie deserves more love! It was such an interesting plot point and quite sad to see how Pete only viewed Larry and Tony as the Teenage Werewolf and Teenage Frankenstein. He essentially groomed them. Maybe it's cause Svengoolie was lucky enough to get the final scene in color which added to my enjoyment. But I don't know, I actually like this a lot!

May - Earth vs The Spider: You know, I'm a simple man. All I need is a giant, supernatural, unsuspecting thing terrorizing a bunch of dumb people from the 1950s to make me happy. This was the only showing from May that I actually liked honestly. The scene where the spider terrorizes the town happens quite early in the film, so I was worried that everything after was just going to be boring and purely to kill time, but no! The scene where Kingman saves his wife and child from the spider was really good and the plot point of Claire's birthday gift was even better. I wish we got a sequel where as Kingman says"Some dumb kid digs him up"cause I think it would kill, no pun intended (well, maybe).

June - Time of their Lives: I doubted this movie at first cause I thought the whole thing was going to be set in the 1700s. But someone get me a poka dot afro and a red nose cause I feel like a clown. I should've known Lou and Bud would never let me down!(Even though I saw one other film from them lol.) Seeing Horatio and Melody's ghost shenanigans and tom foolery was a real treat.
