Woke up at 3am to see this endangered girl bloom. Worth it

Had to set an alarm for 3am to see this. 1st year in the ground and doing great.

Anyone successfully vermicompost here? I'm way too sandy to do it in the ground and I worry that the heat will be an issue with any enclosed system
