In a major headache trying to buy a new Mazda3

Soo I’m trying to buy a blue trim 2.5 S Mazda3 negotiated the price for two dealerships down to $24,800 but one dealership the car after dealer trades and test drives is at 205 miles and the other dealership said they could get me a trade from a dealer and it would have less than 100 miles on it. The dealership with the car with 205 miles is offering me $1 off each mile cause when they showed me paperwork it only said 10 miles so I got pissed and now I’m getting that offer of $24,600. For context though the 205 miles car is like 80 miles away from me and the other place is only like 30 mins. Do you think it’s worth it to drive the extra miles for the $200 off or just get the car from the local dealership with no discount for any mileage accrued from the dealer trade. Please all suggestions and advice will help!!!

Mazda 2.5 S trim

I am talking to several dealerships for otd price and had a quote as high as $26,970 and I am already down to $25,350 and I’m about to try and get $25k flat for otd price. Am I lowballing myself here or am I getting myself a good deal? Idk how to make it any lower than $25k flat now cause I feel like it would be too drastic a drop. All suggestions are welcome!

P17F3 and P17F4 codes

Hey just took 2018 Sentra in for an engine light on and got told I need a new transmission cause the above codes being present after the diagnostic test. Getting quoted $7k from dealership for transmission and to fix engine problem which is a small evap leak. Is it definite that I need a new transmission? Because from looking around I’m seeing that the P17F0 means it’s over and you need to replace it immediately but obviously I could be wrong and that’s why I’m here asking for help. Right now my plan is to get a second opinion and try and get a cheaper quote on a transmission if possible and try and fix it and ride it out since I got no car payments currently. Also for context my car has around 135,000 miles on it. Any advice/suggestions are welcome! Thank you

Get the repair or get a different car?

Hey guys I have a 2018 Nissan Sentra and it’s got 135,000 miles on it and I was just told I need a new transmission and was also told I need a new fuel pump. Getting quoted a little over $7k for both from a dealership and I really don’t know what to do. I am going to get a second opinion hopefully this week from somewhere else. My options are trade car in and get barely anything and then put that combined with my own money towards a down payment on something or just go through with the repair and hopefully get lucky enough to find a cheaper quote. For context I do drive a lot commuting currently around an hour 5 days a week for work. So it’s also giving me pause for concern to get a car with low mileage and pile it up quick before moving closer to work. I’m welcome for any good advice or even car suggestions. Thanks!
