560mm Vertical Push/Pull Cooling Tower

Hey all, sharing my latest addition to my Watercooling setup. I have added a 560mmx58mm Radiator Push/Pull Tower to my setup.

Necessary, definitely not, but once you go watercooling you do things for your convenience and for fun. I love great temps and wanted my system to be quiet as well, so decided to add this tower and stay with same Lian Li fans and ecosystem to makes things easier. I reduced my fan speeds and I am now running them all 800 RPM, so very silent.

My temps have been great, after taking these picture ran my PC idle for 1hour and coolant temp has been stable at 22 - 22.5 degrees, only 0-0.5 degrees higher than ambient. CPU on idle 36-37, GPU 22. Load all depends on what you are testing.

Wanted to share in case anyone is interested in an alternate exterior cooling versus the MORA IV. If I ever go SFF I may move for a MORA, but that is years from now, I am all set until AM6 comes out and I need a new motherboard.

Below is my setup now:
CPU 9950X3D with EK AMD Ryzen Direct Die block, GPU 5090 FE with EK Velocity 3 Block, Samsung 9100 Pro 8TB and 4TB, Samsung 990 Pro 4TB for backup, Gskill 32GB CL2600 1.40V Ram Kit (overclocked to CL26 6400 2200), MSI MEG X870E Godlike, MSI MAG Ai1600TS (for GPU Safeguard), 17 Lian Li 140mm Fans, 1 Lian Li 120mm fan, Koolance QDCs, 2 x Aquacomputer High Flow Next, Lian Li O11 EVO XL Case with EK Reflection 2 Waterblock, 3X420x140mm EK Radiators, EK 120x30mm rear radiator, X560M EK exterior radiator, EK Momentum RAM Waterblock, Ton of EK Fittings/brackets and Liquidhaus 120/140mm bracket for exterior radiator, ~3.5-4 liters of Aquacomputer DP Ultra coolant running in my system.

P.S. I know I need to work on my cable management.

5090+9950X3D+EKWB+LianLi+MSI+Watercooling=Happiness

Sharing the latest status of my watercooling build. I have gone thru several changes in my build for fun, but I think I am done for now. I have upgraded everything I was itching for, prior to jumping to the MORA phase, but with 3x420mm radiators I really don’t need it.

My temps are ambient 22 degrees, coolant goes as high as 24-26 degrees depending on how quiet I want my fans and if gaming, working or long stress tests. My estimate is that I have cut down at least 20-25 degrees on my CPU and GPU when going to watercooling versus air.

My setup is:
Motherboard MSI MEG Godlike x870e, CPU 9950X3D with EKWB Ryzen Direct Die Block, GPU 5090 FE with EKWB Vector 3 Block, all fittings are mostly EKWB, 3x420x44mm EKWB radiators on bottom (intake), top (exhaust), side (intake), and 120x30mm rear EKWB exhaust radiator (I painted gray pieces black), MSI Ai1600TS PSU, 9x140mm Lian Li Fans, 1x120mm Lian Li Rear Fan, Lian Li 8.8 screen, Aquacomputer Next, EKWB Reflection 2 Distroplate, EKWB Momentum 2 RAM Block, Gskill CL26 6000 1.40V kit overclocked to CL26 6400 2200, Samsung 9100 4TB and 8TB NVME SSD. Lian Li O11D EVO XL Case.

I enjoy playing all my gaming at highest ultra settings on my LG 5K2K monitor.

P.S. I have misplaced my PCIe slot covers, will need to buy more to cover the below. I had my GPU vertical before.

Burned MSI MEG Ai1600T PSU and 12VX2-6 Cable

I have seen other burned 12Vx2-6 cables and GPUs, but never thought this could happen to me as I had undervolted my GPU, always very careful with the connector at the GPU/PSU and have what I thought was the best MSI Power Supply possible, but to my surprise it did happen to me. In case it helps anyone the first systems was when starting a game my screen would go black, and although I had sound of the game it was not displaying my game, and I thought maybe it was a bad CPU or RAM tuning/OC, but no, it was my cable and PSU burning. I restarted my PC and game worked, but it was too late and stopped playing. The next day I tried to play again and same behavior, that is when I decided to check my GPU and PSU connection and to my surprise, a burned cable on GPU side, and really burned at the PSU end. My heart sunk thinking my watercooled 5090 FE that I have been running for 1+ years was ruined, but to my surprise the GPU socket was intact, thankfully.

I have contacted MSI, and I RMA my MSI MEG Ai1600T Power Supply, and I am waiting for an answer if they will repair or send me a new one. I am very skeptical now and I am thinking of getting the Ai1600TS with GPU Safeguard and may get the Thermal Grizzly Wireview Pro II Wired as I have a 5090 FE.

Be careful, and protect your hardware, it can happen to anyone.

2026 RHO Molted Red MODs to date

Hello all! Thanks for all your posts, it has been very helpful to MOD my RHO. I traded in my 2021 Rebel and really loving this truck, it’s the best I have had so far. Only 3500 miles so far. MODs I have done so far:

  1. Added hood and side decals
  2. Added M&R PRO light Bar
  3. Added Ram Bar
  4. Added Retrac PRO MX, Bed Rails, foot step
  5. Switched my OEM wheels for Black Beadlocks. Using Gorilla black lugs.
  6. Added 1.5” Bora spacers on all 4 wheels
  7. Added Rhino Badge on sides and tail
  8. Added Weathertech mudflaps
  9. Added front tow covers
  10. Tinted front windows
  11. Ceramic Coating (did myself at home using Adam’s)

Have several things I plan to do, but not immediately.

Hi all, I am looking for your help to please stabilize a CL26 6400 2133 profile. I am using a Gskill CL26 6000 32GB Expo Kit, 9950X3D and X870e Godlike MB. I am sure I may be doing something wrong, but would really like to achieve CL26 6400.

Another question, when one is trying to achieve certain RAM Timings, should one default the CPU Undervolting/Overclocking of Curve Optimizer and Curve Shaper? I assume yes and than once stable UV/OC CPU?

Thank you in advance for the guidance.
