Should I do it at 36?

Hello! I’m an assistant to RN CMs (case management) and have been for a few years. I’ve been working on a SW degree. HOWEVER I have about the same time left as doing nursing school. All my RN CMs say that I should be a nurse. I’m SCARED. Haha at 36, do I have the bandwidth?? Also I want to go into case management but I’ll have to bedside for a few years. Anyone make the transition late?

ETA: Well I guess us millennials are turning to nursing! Let’s go yall!

I got hit on!

I just hit over 20lbs lost. I’ve always know I’m cute. But I haven’t been hit on in a long long time. I’m married and he always makes me feel beautiful no matter what, even if I don’t buy it. But I was at a gas station and a very cute clerk told me I was “mad attractive”. I ran home and told my husband lol.

6.5mo retwist. Coming along…

4b hair, 140 locs, comb coils, only got one style that I took down after a week. Otherwise I mist, moisturize, oil, and keep it pushing. Durag/bonnet every night no exceptions.

We’ve been trying for about a year. Albeit at times inconsistently. However, it’s not happening yet. And like all of us I’ve gone through the cycle of emotions. However, lately at my work 2 different very pregnant women have been assigned to my department for light duty tasks. It was rough at first. However, one asked me to touch her belly while the baby was moving. As soon as I did, I got so emotional and felt so connected to that baby. And all I wanted was for it to be ok and trusted that they had a good mom. When she gave birth she sent me a photo. I can not stop looking at it. Not out of jealousy. But just a genuine awe of the little sweetie. It has changed my view on pregnant women in general. I’m grateful.

Haha this person was my brow lady (sculpts and dyes my eyebrows). This is not the first time she’s sent me shenanigans. Upside is, now I know about the summer pass.

My brow lady has turned out to be crazier by the second. Anyhow, this is the last text she sent me before I blocked her. This is a common scam in my community. Sometimes referred to as half off flights. These people are taking stolen credit card information to buy said flights and accommodations. When the guest shows up they are often arrested for using someone else’s information to buy. But of course sometimes it works, so it keeps going. I already knew of this before she sent this to me. My brows always looked so good 😭.

I’ve started Avsola infusions and I’m now using Nizoral shampoo on flares. I work at the best hospital in my state. So I get access to their drs. They have a specific HS clinic. After one round of infusions and washing with this shampoo, I made it through my period without debilitating flares. I’ll update next month but wow the relief. I’ve been going through this for 18 years and have done everything except deroofing/surgery. I’m stage 2 almost 3. My doctor also put me in a research study. Also a professional photographer takes pictures at every appointment to track progress as well.
