Non stick pan and potstickers, used oil, tried all normal fixes

I tried making potstickers from frozen, several times but they always stick. This time was the worst.

Oil pan, fry the bottom of the dumplings, take out dumplings, boil water, put dumplings in, steam 10 min = least sticking but still pretty bad

Oil pan, put in dumplings to fry bottoms, keep in pan, put in water, steam for 10 min = above picture, worst sticking so far, none came out intact

Defrost dumplings for 1 hour, follow second option = same result

Any advice?

Bleach test strand; what level am I?

Bleaching and dying my hair for the first time. Starting level 1, Wella color charm powder lightener packette with Wella color charm 20 volume cream developer 1:2 for 50 min.

Using arctic fox purple af, I want to look between the two models, dark enough to be subtle but bright enough to be noticeable. Maybe equal to medium blonde? That would be what, level 7? Level 8?

Pictures taken under bright white lights, not sure if it looks lighter than it actually is...

Bought a dresser with a missing drawer; found the same dresser from another seller, complete, day after purchase

So i bought an 8 drawer dresser, with a missing drawer i thought I could get a replacement for easily enough (i cant, its been three weeks of looking), for $70 + $120 transport. The day after purchase i find the same dresser with all the drawers for $180 before transport from another seller. The dresser new is about $500. Assuming transport would be about the same, $120, i paid 40% for a dresser with a missing drawer I cant get a replacement for vs 60% for a complete dresser...

I dont know if this is a win or not but I cant stop thinking about it...

▲ 2 r/IKEA

Mildly infuriating: was told needed spare parts were available nearby, called again was told to go to another province

After disassembling a dresser for a move and losing a whole drawer and back panel, I called ikea to inquire about spare parts to complete my dresser. The first call agent i talked to said I could get all the needed parts at a location an hour away, that they had several sets of the spare parts I needed. My mom convinced me to call again before we left to confirm the parts were available at the location we are headed to. Second call agent said no, the parts are available in several different locations, including different provinces, to complete the drawer...

Which is it? It is available or not? I cant call the location directly because all the phone numbers connect to a single call centre and I dont want to travel an hour to find out it was a waste of time

"Its only a small leak, no need for a plumber" - mom

"Its just a small leak" for the past year. Recently became a slightly bigger leak. To prove to my mom, this took a couple hours.

Help moving a dresser

Im trying to book help moving a second hand dresser from sellers home to my home. Its only 30 min drive between and I estimate maybe 5-10 min getting it on and off the truck. I don't need 2 hours... I picked heavy lifting and loading, chose vehicle required, and was cancelled on. Not because I chose the wrong category, because I'm too far? The second tasker I chose seems to have cancelled on me without even messaging me so I don't know what the issue is there? Any advice?

Edit: a third tasker agreed to take the job, suggested meeting in 30 minutes, there was no minimum 2 hours listed, 10 minutes before meeting time he said he is an hour away and will charge me 3 hours + gas. Canceled task

I'm off the wait list! But am not eligible to apply...!

They already have all my relevant financial information. Why am I invited to apply when they know I am not going to be approved? I don't even remember signing up for the waitlist...

Bedroom arrangement suggestions?

I have a small to medium size room that is almost a perfect square. Drawing is not to scale but general feeling

- the door and closet door swing toward each other

- the medicine cabinet is wall mounted and not easily moved. There is about a foot of space between the top of the dresser and bottom of the mirror. Mirror is high enough I have to stand to see myself, sitting on the bed cannot see reflection

- the printer is massive 1.5 foot in every direction and 25lb that is 20yo or more. It still works so we are not getting rid of it. It is used often enough i cant put it in the closet with other long term storage items like suitcases, sewing machine, etc, but not used enough to put it somewhere easier to access. Light miscellaneous items are placed on top

- closet does not hold clothes, just long term storage items

- the bedside tables are a matching set and the one next to the tv has an air purifier on top

- the space between the tv drawers and the bed is just large enough to open the bottom drawers without hitting the bed

- a space heater is placed between the bed and the dresser in winter and stored next to the wall when not in use

- I sometimes drag the stationary bike into my room to watch tv at the same time. Unrelated, stationary bike is kept next to the front door, not a living room

"I love Japanese people, not Chinese people"

Someone said to my face as a person of Chinese descent. I guess she thought I was Japanese because i was cashing her out with a japanese item but I don't know how I should have responded. I just smiled and said "have a good day."

For context I am an unmarried aisan woman with my mom getting our seasonal tire change. Mom and I moved the tires from our shed to the trunk, as we do twice every year. I usually have no problem with this, but today had an allergic reaction. The guy doing the tire change said it's a good thing i am high maintenance. That when I get married I can make my husband do all the work because of my delicate skin...

I mean I have dermatitis on my hands as well but I just work thorough it because I don't want to be that type of person. But the guy told me it is a good thing and seems to not accept that I think he was insulting me
