Some less discussed benefits and my insights from this journey for the bros here .

Long post ,

I have my own fare share of on and offs in this journey , sharing some insights and realisations which might help people here in this sub ;

THE CORE BENIFIT I EXPERIENCE FROM THIS PRACTICE IS RISE IN AWARENESS .

Here are some things which I noticed and you can expect too :

- You don't realise it but literally half of the time you are on autopilot mode , With this discipline you are inculcating in your life , you train yourself to take control of things , your impulses and your actions . With your increase in awareness you finally become able to make decisions manually .

- You get ability to think clearly , interpret situations without that gloomy cloud impacting you , get the courage to take decision , make a move and lead . Notice something in these actions ? They all scream masculinity . Getting attention and respect from the opposite gender is a bi product of your changed outlook towards things and how you approach it .

- You start paying attention to the life happening around you . With the rise in energy , you finally feel like doing those things you have been procrastinating. You become more present and simple tasks like doing your household chores and cooking your own meals give you feeling of accomplishment and joy ,you might actually end up liking these things for example I like ironing my clothes myself and polishing or cleaning my shoes for the next day .

- If you workout , you will definitely feel more energy . In your compound movements there is a weird rage which will make you feel like benching or squatting more , perfect setting for a progressive overloading . Recovery becomes significantly faster and noticeable , provided you eat well and maintain some sleep hygiene .

- Again the awareness thing, you will recognise your other vices and start acting on them . I was enslaved by smoking while on SR I was finally able to sit with myself and made a conscious decision of leaving it and doing better things . Yes , I read a book too it's ' Easy way to stop smoking' by Allen Carr if you want to know .

SOME ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE TO KEEP THINGS GOING ON :

- You don't need to suppress your impulses , you need to recognise it , look it in the fucking eye and tell it to stop, don't judge it , it's neither good nor bad its just an impulse . Suppression create tension . I know it's easier said than done so practically , if you have a garden just sit in the grass for a while or walk barefoot on it , breathe and do what's written above . Still feeling it , 20 push ups , 20 squats and 20 crunches , if its still there just do it till you are tired . Key idea is to change your usual sitting place and breathing pattern . If you don't have a garden you can dip your feet in water for a while , keep it simple .

- Observe your daily life , find out times at which you are vulnerable . Construct a routine and add something else there preferrable if it's something outside . Enforce some discipline on yourself ( in my case I'm not so self disciplined so I have to enforce it) it do feels mechanical initially but you will get hang of it . Discipline beats motivation anyday.

- You do need some Entertainment too that is understandable , only thing I have to say is avoid short form content and stop frying your brain , watch long form content be it watching fifa or some movie or you may even read a book if you are into it .

- Maintain a healthy sleep routine as much as possible , mostly it happens at bed time , sleeping on time is a game changer . If possible just keep your phone in other room before sleeping , just relax and sleep . Nocturnal emission is for sure a problem , I don't know much about how to prevent it but if you keep your things in check and do not play with fire , it will not happen .

- This is VERY IMPORTANT and something I have done too , do not watch every damn video on SR on youtube , you don't need to overload yourself with information , keep things simple . Nothing is worth it if you don't take any action .

- You have your own pace of learning and doing , do not compare yourself with anyone else .Tap into your consciousness and figure out what you need to do in present , your focus should always be intrinsic , no one knows you better than you yourself . Read and research things but always listen to yourself .

With this I will take my leave from this sub ;

Goodluck boys , be the supreme commander of yourself .

Any public transport way of reaching Rajgundha Valley ?

Will be travelling from Chandigarh , what's the cheapest way of reaching Rajgundha valley (zostel) .

I won't mind discomfort ordinary hrtc bus are fine for me also walking 5-6 kms is not a big deal for me .

Paying for taxi is such a pain in my ahh as a solo guy and I absolutely don't want to do it . Key idea is to spend a day extra and save on taxi and all .

If someone have done this , please let me know .

Looking for perfumes with similar profile like this but better longetivity .

I love this frag but in this 40 degrees and humidity it fades away , i just love how this one is blended it feels so smooth and airy , that vetiver at the end is lovely . I particularly like the lemon innit as its not that much overpowering like my cedrat boise .

Looking for something which lasts and can handle heat .

Thanks

So i went to this newly opened Blue Tokai and ordered a Vietnamese as its my go to drink .

Im not a pro pro at tasting coffee but from the smell it was lil sour and somehow weird like alcohol fumes . When i tasted it , hell nahh it was sour with barnyard type of note , unbearable . I tried to mix condensed milk fully but it was still unbearable . I felt like something is definitely off so i asked the guy to replace it .

They replaced it but again it was same shit in a different glass , then i asked the guy how old is this brew and how long you've stored it , this thing taste terrible , he knew jackshit and told me " sir ye peeche se hi supply me aisi aati hai " . That was the last thing i wanted to hear , if its a supply they might be using some preservatives ? Anyway , my morning is ruined , rant over . Please tell me that coffee was actually stale also where else can i have a nice fresh vietnamese .

Friendship ended with Blue Tokai 💔 .
