Found this bike for a great price, but it's too far away to see in person, so this is the only photo I have.

I've always wanted a chrome steel MTB like this. The only thing holding me back is the suspension fork. The seller says the fork still works well, though.

I think it's a Sunn Vertik, maybe a Vertik 1, but I'm not sure.

Would you buy it as the base for an xbike build?

Does it look like it's in decent condition from this single photo?

And finally, does it look like the right size for someone who is 190 cm?

I'm thinking about buying this bike as the base for an xbiking project. After doing some research I think it might be a Marin Eldridge Grade, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know if that's correct? If not, what model do you think it is?

I'd also appreciate your opinion on the frame size, what do you think it is? I'm 189 cm (6'2") tall with an 86 cm (33.9") inseam. Wondering if it would fit me well.

Finally, do you think it's a good candidate for an xbiking build?

Hi everyone,

I have a laminate particleboard countertop in my kitchen. The sink cutout was poorly done from the beginning, and over time a small crack formed near one corner.

Now the laminate has lifted slightly (around 1 mm) and the particleboard underneath seems to have swollen a bit from moisture exposure.

I’m looking for the best temporary solution to:

• stop more water from getting in
• protect the damaged area
• make it look as decent as possible until I replace the countertop in the future

I’ll upload photos.

Would you recommend glue, epoxy, silicone, wood hardener, clamps, or something else?

I’m 44 and I have no problem with gray or white hair. My issue is that my beard is almost completely black except for the chin, which is basically fully white.

The contrast makes the chin stand out too much and kind of breaks the balance of my face in photos. I’d honestly prefer a fully white beard over this.

Do you know any examples of men who have this kind of beard pattern and actually wear it well? Especially shorter or stylish beards not the long “white chin stripe” look.
