Always kinda wonder this (in a not racist way) bc black ppl are so deeply ingrained into America atp it’s hard to imagine the county with out them. I assume it’d be the same in an evolutional sense but still curious.

I’m only on ep 12 of S2 so far and I gotta say I feel like this season kinda did him dirty. Like I feel like his role this season is significantly less than season 1. He gets less screen time and less relevance . Which is fine on paper but it’s not like the other characters gets particularly more attention. Just feels equally divided.

Also I’m sure I’m not the first to say it but he feels occ and less complex than he did before. Making fun of mohan for her panic attack was so??? Robby has ALWAYS been a hard ass I get that, but he always had a good reason for it. In season 1 you could tell he just wants them to improve and help patients.

Also he’s been in healthcare for how long? Eh should probably understand that you can’t control panic attacks lmao where’s his empathy this season? When a patient died he just moved right along and did no debrief and said “he’ll be dead later too”

Like I get it. This show is aggressively human, people are complex in even small ways, and some ppl have bad days. I wouldn’t say he was butchered just written less well.

Which upsets me cause he was easily my favorite last season.

I see them on tiktok a lot lately and they’ve seem to blow up in popularity but they’re kinda divisive it seems lol. I agree ab giving what u take but some people get upset when people don’t leave Sonny angels every time. What do y’all think?

Spoilers for the movie obviously but listen i KNOW Clark isn’t a good person that’s the whole point. But istg some ppl act like he’s benjamin netanyahu in a way that feels super mischaracterizing

I keep seeing ppl say he physically abused his wife bc of how he treated the still life but I never got that vibe, naturally I assumed the mistreatment came bc of his insanity and how he doesn’t view the still life’s as ppl. But apparently the red head WAS his wife? Did I miss that?
It’s pretty much said he only verbally abused her (which is still bad don’t get me wrong), Mary even says “it wasn’t the rage it was the whining”

Also seen some theories that he led his employees in there to intentionally get them killed. Fine for interpretations but I didn’t get that vibe either. I do think he was being careless by bringing them along but I don’t think he intended for them to die.

For me personally what makes Clark such an interesting character is how grounded he is and how moderately bad of a person he is. Making him out to be a mustache twirling villain kills the core of his character.

Maybe I missed some things. I only saw the movie once in theaters so I’m sure some things slipped but I never got the vibe Clark was as terrible as ppl say he is
