Also btw where can i find remotes, how to pair, and do they all work for all crts, or do i need a specific remote for a specific crt?

Puppy Linux Display Output issues

Hello, i just found out about this app and i am trying to load Puppy Linux, (specifically TrixiePup64-Wayland-2606-260701.iso). I dont know much about how vm programs work, just the kindve basic stuff. My settings for the iso are as follows:
- Linux (hopefully that was obvious)
- Intel ICH9 based PC (2009, x86_64)
- 2048 Mib Memory
- 4 CPU cores
- Enabled Display Output
- Enabled hardware OpenGL acceleration
- Boot from ISO image
Storage size 2GB
When i start it, I see a flash of words in the middle of the screen that says "Display output is not active". Then, it loads into the .iso selector (i dont know what its called sorry). I choose the first selected one, as i believe it is correct, then I see the 2 code lines that say "Loading /ucode.cpio /initrd.gz". It stays there for a couple seconds, then it goes back to the black screen with the Display error again. I am on an iphone 12 if that helps at all.

Unvulnerable fanmade xp build?

I have a Sony Vaio windows xp laptop, and i want to connext it to the internet. i wont use it as a daily laptop, just zomething to browse the internet, and see if i can try to run some programs on it. nothing super modern, i just want to test the limits of what it can run, and i really just love how everything looks. I have heard though, that it is dangerous to put an cp computer on the internet. I can get some antiviruses firewalls and vpns, but i was wondering if maybe someone out there has modified windows xp to a version where it does not have the vulnerabilities? still windows xp, just fixed a little bit? does this exist? thamk you and have a good day.

can i put a gaming gpu in my shitty laptop

So i have an old hp laptop that used to be my brothers, its got a core i5 10th gen. I forget what type of integrated graphics it has, but anyways they suck. like, i cant even play chained together or any other friendslop games (i dont think theyre that graphic demanding?) Anyways i had this pretty stupid idea, and i wanted to know if it was possible.
Could i modify a gaming gpu to run via usb or similar on my laptop and would it replace my integrated graphics? would it work, but be too slow? Is it just plain stupid?

Also, im super into old tech from any era. i mean everything; laptops, desktop pcs', any and all consoles, CRTs, flip and touch screen phones, cd players, everything. Could anybody reccomend places in Daytona Beach to find this type of stuff? I understand that i wont be able to find the tech n clothes in the same place btw.

Yellow Light of Death Fix

Hello, i just got this PS3 from a Electronic recycling center, and thankfully it gets power. Unfortunately, i am getting the "Yellow Light of Death" as i have heard it called. I power the console on, it beeps, i see a yellow light, then a flashing red light. I have also found out that this ps3 is sought after, as it can play ps2 and ps1 games i believe? it has the 4 USB ports on the bottom if that helps. I do not have any soldering experience, but i am willing to learn or do whatever i must to get this console working. Would it be best to fix myself, or bring to a repair shop? If i must fix it myself, what will i have to do? Thank you, and have a good day.
