Pop albums which were a moment you don't think have aged well

Ok so I'm a huge fan of Beyoncé's music, and by that I mean self titled and onwards, I like her earlier stuff too don't get me wrong, but it's usually the singles and some banger hidden gems. I like self titled, Lemonade and Renaissance as whole albums. But I decided to listen to Sasha Fierce again because I have been obsessed with Single Ladies for some reason, it's actually a great pop song, and I'd actually consider popfection because I don't think there's any song that sounds like it even up to now, and it's crazy that it's a number 1 hit because it's just so different, and yes the music video is iconic. And it actually makes me low-key angry cause listening to single ladies in context of the album, it really feels so out of place.

Anyway as I pressed play on the album... Idk maybe I'm just trash because it was just so boring 😭and it's just ballads on ballads with a few songs of there time towards the end but that's it, I was so disappointed, and yes don't get me wrong it sounds like blasphemy to be out hear calling a ballad sang by Beyonce boring but as an album, I don't think it's aged well, it really made me appreciate how far she's come, but anyway, this was just an opinion dump, any similar albums from other artists large discographies which are known by name, but when you listened to it for the first time or again, it didn't click or hasn't age all that well?

Can someone make a long version of wink wink please

It's the only single so far stuck in my head, and when you think it's about to get into it and go somewhere it just ends. I'm not going to even complain about length of songs because Charli has made songs 2 minutes to 3 minutes tops, but the reason they feel long is because they either have a lot of interesting stuff going on in production or they have a 2 to 3 chorus structure and a bridge!! Heavy on the bridge.

Anyway I'm just not a fan of these songs that feel like they are drafts of really great complete songs

It's very economical right now to have an eating disorder

In the economic state of the world right now, I believe that it is more than okay to have an eating disorder at the moment.

Every damn day shopping for food, cooking the food, over and over and OVER again and again and AGAIN!! Don't get me started on stressing and and deciding on what to eat, then when you put it in your shopping cart and glance at the price tag, it's more expensive than the last time you bought it like.

And even eating out is another can of worms with the prices, just go to the food bank to save money, but I personally feel guilty doing that as they're are people more in need of such services, so I guess eating disorder it is! ED's aren't even that bad when you get used to it, it's very economically smart and I've saved quite a considerable amount ever since establishing this ED in my life.

You guys has it been June mu Zed sure?

Like what? I think global warming is doing us bad cause a couple years ago I'd be shivering in my blankets and layers, but instead I'm here in my boxer shorts and sweater walking around like it's not June, it gets drafty at night, but not the typical Zed June, what y'all's thoughts?

Can't Taylor Swift be sued for Cruel Summer?

I don’t really know the specifics of what counts as plagiarism in music, so I’m asking here. There’s a K-pop group called LOONA, and they have a song called “Stylish” from 2018. It came out a year before “Cruel Summer” on Lover, and the chorus sounds way too similar to me, even down to the drummy synth in the instrumental. I don’t really know how to describe music well, but it gives me the same vibe as “Cruel Summer,” just with more reverb and echo on Taylor’s version. As someone who likes Taylor’s music but is critical of her as a person, it annoys me that the whole “Deja Vu” bridge situation got so much attention, while this doesn’t seem to get talked about nearly as much. It just surprises me how little people seem to know about it, especially since K-pop fans are usually so vocal about this kind of stuff. And don't get me started on TLOASG and songs on the album it sounds similar to lol.

Do you think HH will win?

I recently got back on Facebook against my will to buy something from Facebook marketplace and yoh. My homepage keeps bombarding me with vima political campaigns from bene HH. out of curiosity when I check the comments everytime the most popular comments are people making fun of him indirectly or with backhanded compliments.

And yes I know Facebook of all places isn't the best place to base a consensus on such things but yeah, I just wanted to ask here if the general public is not going to be voting for him again for him this election and he might lose? And if that's the case which other candidate is even there honestly, the others where by I'm not seeing campaigns or maybe I just don't see them idk

Should I take the CBU offer or wait/apply elsewhere?

I’m 18 and recently got a provisional admission offer for BSc Purchasing and Supply Management at CBU Lusaka Campus for this July intake.

The issue is that I genuinely thought I was applying for next year’s intake, not this year. Mentally, I had planned on taking a gap year first because I’ve been pretty burnt out after Grade 12 and wanted time to think properly about what I actually want.

I also haven’t yet applied to UNILUS, which was another option I was considering mainly because I wanted a different environment and a bit more independence from home.

My parents strongly want me to accept the CBU offer now because they see it as a valuable opportunity that might not come again, especially since admissions are competitive. They also think staying in Lusaka and studying nearby is more financially practical.

At the same time, I’m conflicted because part of me feels rushed into starting university before I'm mentally ready, and another part of me wonders if I’m over-romanticizing the idea of another university or a gap year.

For people who’ve studied at CBU, UNILUS, or just gone through something similar

Is CBU Purchasing and Supply Management actually a good programme?

Do rankings and reputation matter that much in Zambia?

Is taking a gap year a bad idea in the Zambian context?

Am I being unrealistic about wanting a different environment?

I’d appreciate honest advice, especially from people who’ve already been through university or the job market in Zambia.
