Anyone out there run a Fiio k13 r2r with a Wiim ultra? I have a Fiio k13 r2r Dac/amp and I am using a Hifiman edition xs headphones and Fiio ft1 headphones, they sound excellent. How is the Wiim ultra/Fiio k13 r2r pairing sound? I really like the way this set looks stacked together. Whats the best connection I should use?

Love my Fiio k13 r2r, but that long plug sticking so far out the back was a pain! I fixed it much better now. That plug stiuck out so much, I couldn't put it flush against anything so I picked up an angled power plug from Amazon. I brought 2 of them one angled down, and one angled to the left. I'm using angled to the left, it touches the Bluetooth antenna a little but functions fine. It looks nice and pushed back flush against the wall. Another bonus is the OEM plug from Fiio is a little short, the one I got is 15 feet, I think I saw a 20 feet in the listing if you need that.

The Fiio k13 r2r is an awesome piece of kit! But one thing bothered me, the big power cable in back comes straight out back, so you put it flush against wall. So I ordered angled power cables 1 angled down and 1 angled left to see what works best. Its the one little thing that botther me. Just make sure its angled the right direction the one in pic is angled up!

I originally brought the QM7K, I was in love with the picture! It had great color pop, contrast, and the perfect amount of brightness but it had the dreaded power supply buzzing issue. So I decided to exchange/upgrade to either the QM8K or the QM9K. Once I saw that sexy zero boarder bezel I feel in love and I had to have it. I went with the QM8K because I did not need all that extra brightness the QM9K had, my room is light controlled. Everything wasn't perfect though because my QM8K did have a nice picture but she still had some issues. My original QM7K looked better in dark scenes, and had better color pop. I kept seeing alot of noise in dark scenes and the picture was very dim in film maker mode on my QM8K. I was about make a return with Best Buy, but before I did that I thought I should do some research. I found out 2 things my TV was running an older firmware so I updated up to v321 but there was a an even newer v333 firmware available, my TV wouldn't update to v333 over the air, I had to manually install it via USB, which wasn't hatd. This fixed just about everything that was bad. Film maker mode was bright again, No more noise, colorful picture is back, nice color pop, sparkle and luminous highlights were all amazing now. Contrast and dark scenes are excellent. The 2nd part that helped my picture improve was fixing my terrible WiFi signal it was bad. My router was in the attic and my TV was is the basement, so my signal was not strong. My picture looked amazing after firmware update but when I added a nice TP-LINK mesh system it brought the quality of my picture to the next level. My picture now is flawless. My picture has a warmness and a deep saturation of colors that is unbelievable. It reminds me of my JVC projector I had a while back, she is so clean, ckear and sharo. I am so happy and satisfied with my TCL QM8K. Everyone who comes over to my house is wowed and automatically thinks its a Sony or Samsung because it looks so good! They are shocked when I tell them its a TCL and what I paid for this beautiful 98" TV with a zero bezel. I wanted to post this because we mostly hear about the bad experiences and problems people have with TCL, and yeah I had to go through some hurdles but it was worth it! All is excellent now! TCL is doing some good stuff guys. Now for some nice pics of my screen.

Hey guys I have my router and wifi set up in my attic, but my TV is in my basement, I am going through 3 floors and I was able to get my TV connected, I am recieving all my streaming services just fine. I downloaded an internet speed test to see what my speeds were, I was only getting around 18mbs. So I picked up a TP-Link Deco mesh system with 3 bases just see. I was shocked how much better my picture quality improved! Big difference Better colors, contrast, less microblocking and noise, runs snappier, it looks like I am running a Blu-ray.! I ran the speed test again and now I'm going over 200mbs, peaking at 320mbs! So my advice if your running your TV on WiFi try a mesh system, I think you will like what you see. Before anyone says "just Run ethernet!" I do plan on running ethernet one day but I dont have the knowledge nor the tools to drill through floors and walls and setting up a proper ethernet throughout my house. Now I have strong WIFI on all 3 floors of my house. WiFi mesh was plug and play easy. Go to slick deals big sale on TP-Link Deco mesh systems, we'll worth it! Next I want to get either an apple tv box or a google 4k box, not sure which to for even better picture.

Incase someone is wondering first pic of test is using tv connected to mesh system. Second pic is from using WiFi directly from Tv in the basement to my router in attic. Big difference.

TCL QM7L "PRO" Version from Costco. Does TCL have an official website page to get better details on specs?? I am wondering what is different from regular TCL QM7L. I would like to know if it has that sexy zero bezel like the Qm8k/L has and if maybe it gets that cool remote with brightness and picture mode settings buttons on the side.
