Looking for Mentorship – Building an AI-Powered Fleet Management Platform for Europe (Munja)

*Hey everyone,*

I'm a founder from Serbia, and I'm building Munja, it’s an AI-powered fleet management platform for the European market, starting with the Balkans.

Munja helps rent-a-car, leasing, and logistics companies manage their vehicles, finances, insurance, damage records, and customers, all in one system with AI-driven insights like predictive maintenance and driver behavior analysis.

**Where we are right now:**
Team of 5 (myself, co-founder, 3 developers/designers) working for equity

Research phase complete: market analysis, competitor research, customer validation

MVP planning done: 12–16 week build timeline

Tech stack: React/TypeScript, Node.js or Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker

Target market: Serbia first, then CEE and Europe

**What I'm looking for:**

I'm looking for experienced founders, SaaS veterans, or industry experts who would be willing to offer mentorship, even just 30 minutes of your time.

Specifically, I'd love guidance on:
Refining our product strategy and go-to-market approach

Avoiding common mistakes at the MVP stage

Navigating the European fleet management and logistics space

Preparing for fundraising (pre-seed: €5k–10k, seed: €400k–600k)

Building and managing a distributed team

**Why Munja?**
The global fleet management market is valued at $56–80B by 2030, growing at 13–19% CAGR. The Balkans and CEE region have real fleet density but almost no purpose-built software serving it. That gap is Munja's opening – if built as an AI-native, financially-literate platform from day one.

**What I can offer in return:**
I'm not asking for free work, I'm asking for advice. In return, I'm happy to share:
Regular updates on our progress

Insights from the Balkan startup ecosystem

A genuine connection and willingness to help where I can

If you're interested in a more formal advisory role, we can discuss equity options

**If you're open to a chat:**

Please DM me here or email me at filipmalisic60@gmail.com

Even 15–20 minutes of your time would mean a lot. I'm eager to learn from those who've been through this journey before.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to connecting!

Studying in Ljubljana

Hi people, i was wondering if anyone from Slovenia could tell me about studying in your country.

Im from Serbia and i recently applied for a university of Ljubljana, i will major in international economics and financial markets.

But i want to understand the culture better, to make some friends while studying and most importantly to understand how the university life works in your country.

Atp im 2nd year of law school in Belgrade but i find it draining for my health (mentally and physically) and i just started to understand that im not for that major. Also, i never loved math that much until i started watching movies/tv shows about finance like The Big Short, ofc Wolf of Wall Street and Succession. After those movies and shows i started shifting to YouTube to understand the criterion and started loving it.

It would mean alot for me if anyone could give me some advice on studying and culture of the country, thank you if you are reading.

Studying in Ljubljana

Hi people, I applied to university of Ljubljana recently in the international economics and financal markets major. I was wondering if anyone know what is like studying in Slovenia?

Im from Serbia, im 20 years old and im still enrolled in law school (2nd year) but i find it really draining because thats something i dont want to do in my life. My first introduction to finance was thru movies and shows like The Big Short, Wolf of Wall Street and Succession. I was so amazed by the market, how it works and other stuff, and i shifted to YouTube to learn more about finance since i never cared that much about mathematics till i saw how beneficial it really is.

To sum this up, firstly, im scared due to moving if i get accepted but i would jump thru the roof if i get accepted, secondly, i want to understand the culture because i find Slovenia beautiful and most of all i want to fit in, i want to accept the culture and find friends.

If you are still reading this, thank you, i just wanted to get this from my chest and wanted some guidance.

Wanna join my startup?

Hey people,
Im building Munja, an AI powered fleet management platform for the European market. The global fleet management market is worth over 100 billion dollars and growing fast.

Im putting together the founding team and I need a Full Stack Developer to help build the MVP.
Tech stack is React with Node.js or Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and Docker.

What I can offer you is equity in the company, a chance to build something from zero, and full flexibility to work remotely.

What I need from you is experience with the stack, a desire to build a startup, and willingness to work without salary at the beginning in exchange for equity.

If this sounds interesting, send me a message. We can have a short call and see if we click.
Thanks for reading.

Am i dumb for wanting to start a startup in my country?

I started working on a project not that long ago, and the vision about this project is great but i wanted to have good approach about it. I wont name whats it called or promote it here, but it has come to my attention how many people from my region dont have a forum to post about their ideas and innovations so i created one (still learning how to use it tho) but thats not a point rn.
I mean country where Im from isn’t that tapped in with AI or any type of startups, tho its potential is good because of large number of investors.

I want to ask for advice/guidance towards my goal. I want to learn about programming, SaaS, and other skills that could boost my work productivity and improve my skills.

I need your help about topics to learn, because right now i dont know nothing about the subject i just mentioned, but i have a strong will to learn.

Sorry for writing like this, i dont know how to assemble this message better then this. Also, if anyone is interested in working on this project of mine, join me so it could be ours🫡
