I’m new to real estate been doing this about 7 weeks on Long Island. I have done 2-3 open houses a week from that have met a lot of good agents and even some potential buyers (although they’re pretty flakey so hmm)

I have my rental certificate and want to maybe start helping property managers etc but how do I even go about that? Do I reach out to property managers directly? How do I even find them instagram?

So yeah I basically got started in July with a brokerage I have done about 7 open houses I’m aiming to do 1-2 per week. I’m curious how other people got started, I’ve messaged everyone I know and just sent out handwritten cards to selected people in my neighborhood. In New York we can’t cold call unfortunately so I’m just looking for how other people got started.

So I’m a bit confused on what to do here my 7.5 year old is going into second grade this year. They do A-Z grading so they wanted them around a level “J” at the end of the year and my daughter is level “M/N” she can easily ready Ivy and bean, magic tree house etc but HATES the books i think because it’s a bunch of words and no pictures so I totally get it.

She likes reading fly guy and piggie which is great but it doesn’t really challenge her. When I try to read with her she gets frustrated and doesn’t want to. I’m so not trying to force her to read because I don’t want her to hate it. Just looking for some advice to hopefully help—she reads really well at school but hates doing it at home..

I read chapter books with her and have her read a few paragraphs and I’ll read the pages to just get her practicing but even a word she doesn’t know she just screams “I don’t know that and I don’t want to read anymore”

Hi! I just finished the RELNY 77 hour course I passed the final in 8 minutes hahaha crazy work. I don’t do well on tests unless I have good reliable practice questions or a study guide to take me through important terms, I don’t want to sit here and memorize 300 words.

Anyone have a link or a helpful quiz let or something they used to pass the NYS real estate test? I’m taking it next week. Thank you!!
